I can’t tell you how much this short video has improved my quality of life. I suffered an awful anxiety attack almost a month ago, and the aftershocks have persisted for weeks. They’re the worst when I’m in confined uncontrolled spaces, especially the passenger in an automobile or airplane. I use this video every time before I board a bus or ride in a car
I’m glad the video is helping you. Your experience is shared with many other people. Know you are not alone. There are variety of other calming exercises on this channel that also may benefit you.
I completely understand what you’re going through. One experience that happened two months ago has left me anxiety riddled and barely able to enjoy my own life. It will get better, I believe in you :) ❤
I understand fully what your going through, I had a bad panic attack and the aftershock was weeks after and still going now. It’s shit living like this and I honestly need help with videos like this
3 days back needed to call 911, my anxiety took me down and resulted in skipping my breaths! yes, I forget to breathe sometimes! For the last two days, I have been doing box breathing and hey it helps! I found this particular video very helpful cause of its blue underwater color and of course the box! thank you, nice work, please keep it up!
Sorry to hear about your anxiety. I have my own struggles and now how crippling it can be. Please share the channel with friends. Have you tried any of the other exercises on the channel? ruclips.net/video/n_5ZryVx6Sk/видео.html

@@HandsOnMeditation well i am a marathon runner and to walk more than 6 miles requires alot of stamina and endurance so alot of us use handy equipment like good shoes and breathing techniques like 4 7 8 and box breathing i chose box breathing because its very calming helps you focus and genuinely pushes your lungs and i am learning to master it to keep up with others.
@@HandsOnMeditationthank you for your concern yes i am fully taking care of my body i just am trying to see does it actually work or not cause many people do it. Also thanks for the video while i am far from mastering it i am way more comfortable with it now
Most people can exhale more easily through their mouth, but you should do whatever is most comfortable. Don’t worry about being exact. You can modify as needed.
Understood. With practice, you can teach the sympathetic nervous system to calm down. You might enjoy one of the meditations instead of the breathing exercises, though this channel.
@@HandsOnMeditation yes, keep the count, guide voice, and breathing. Drop the music. It’ll literally be the first guided meditation without music in the background (at least that I’ve found). Every single one is either (1) guided w music; (2) silent visualization; or (3) a metronome.

Why some say nose exhale and some say nose. Does it matter?
Whats the difference between exhaling off the mouth over off the nose please? Where can I find info about that??
my.clevelandclinic.org/health/treatments/9443-pursed-lip-breathing
It is the father of medicine.
I want box breathing for half an hour pls make a video
Should I do this before sleep or in the morning
It’s beneficial to do the exercise in the morning and night. You should feel free to practice whenever you want.
After the 1st round do we need to take a normal breath and then start again or is it continously to be done for 5 or so
You just keep going inhale hold exhale hold inhale hold exhale hold
@@HandsOnMeditation ok 👍 thank you
I was eunning while doing this it turned into a walk and me suffering but it clams u and good for ur lunga
This exercise is for a time when you are resting

@ismailsamani8002 you should listen to your body and use a technique that works best for you and is comfortable.

I’ve found it more relaxing than 4:7:8 breathing. I think it’s a more natural rhythm but I suppose that might be an individual thing.
Sir, do we have to breathe out from mouth?
Please reply.
Thanks
Most people can exhale more easily through their mouth, but you should do whatever is most comfortable. Don’t worry about being exact. You can modify as needed.
Thank you but is box breathing suitable for anyone with a pacemaker device?
If you have any concerns, you should talk with your doctor.

Not a fan of holding the breath as it engages the sympathetic Nervous system
Understood. With practice, you can teach the sympathetic nervous system to calm down. You might enjoy one of the meditations instead of the breathing exercises, though this channel.
If only they’d turn off the Muzak.
I’ll consider making a silent version. Do you still like to hear the breathing?
@@HandsOnMeditation yes, keep the count, guide voice, and breathing. Drop the music. It’ll literally be the first guided meditation without music in the background (at least that I’ve found). Every single one is either (1) guided w music; (2) silent visualization; or (3) a metronome.
