This video introduces you to the breathing technique at a beginner's pace in 5 rounds. You'll be taking 35 Deep Circular Breaths, followed by an Extended Breath-Hold. The Breath-Hold gradually increases each round.
No worries about breathing through your nose or mouth for this exercise. Just do whatever is most comfortable for you.
Round 1- Breath Hold ⏱ 30 Seconds
Round 2 - Breath Hold ⏱ 45 Seconds
Round 3 - Breath Hold ⏱ 1 Minute
Round 4 - Breath Hold ⏱ 1 Minute 30 Seconds
Round 5 - Breath Hold ⏱ 2 Minutes
!!! THE BREATH-HOLD TIMES ARE MEANT ONLY AS A GUIDE - IF YOU FEEL THE URGE TO BREATHE BEFORE THE DESIGNATED TIME - YOU SHOULD GO AHEAD AND TAKE A BREATH !!!
You can also pause the video and extend the Breath-Hold, if you are comfortable. With practice, your breath retention ability will likely increase.

This is probably wildly inappropriate, but I cannot help sharing:
I was addicted to crack, and the sensations/buzzing in the body/mind after round five are what I would experience for the first 15 seconds after a toke. It probably goes without saying, but the breathing is a much cleaner feeling. 😅

Wow…. I did this for the first time and kept up well. My whole nervous system has slowed down. Even typing this message feels slow. During the breath holds, I felt immense pulses of energy traveling through me, and now all that’s left is pure relaxation and warmth.

A suggestion- I did Wim hof breath work for beginners and then did this
So, 31 min of being in the present moment, struggling mildly to control the urge to inhale

I'm currently working my way upto the 4 minute breath hold video.
Mine and my wife's favorite is the beginner transcendance meditation video.
We love the pulsing rhythm of the music.

I have the Wim Hof app, but this is nice for a change to avoid boredom of the same voice every day. Dr. Huberman recommended to do this every day.

I'm glad you said lay on your back because when I first started doing what I can only call the Wim Hoff breathing while in the lotus position I got quite lightheaded
It's normal to get lightheaded, so yes, laying down is the best option.
Please make this version starting from 30 sec but 15 rounds. +10 seconds every round. It would be Perfect.

RUclips did not provide an explanation. I believe it tripped an automatic action because I credited Wim Hof in the title. The main content was not a problem.
I was wondering if that had something to do with it. Wim is increasing brand identity. I don't care much for his content though appreciate the techniques and story behind them.

It’s normal to have different experiences during the exercise. This is a challenging exercise at first, but gets easier with practice. You should listen to your body and work at a pace that’s comfortable for you and it will change a little each day.

This is a pretty challenging exercise. You should do whatever is most comfortable for you.
Is it allowed to do before gym? Also when its better tk take a cold shower?
You can do the exercise whenever it works best for you. Cold showers are really healthy but they are challenging. You can start with a warm shower and just turn it cold for a little while at the end. Eventually, you'll work up to longer exposure to the cold. You could also consider a cold plunge. Have you seen my videos on this channel about building one?

That really depends on you. The exercise is good to do in the morning or evening, but really you can do it whenever you feel like . Even multiple times a day.
