Buying a Used Wrangler: 5 MUST ASK Questions

I discuss the top 5 questions you "need" to ask when purchasing a used Wrangler. Below are all of the questions I promised in the video.
- Do you know how many owners - how long ago did you purchase? How many miles did you put on the jeep? - Why are you selling?
- Is the title clean - is your name on the title? Salvage title? Rental car? Vehicle paid off?
- Can I get the Vin#l? Do you have a CARFAX report on the vehicle?
- Has the vehicle ever been in an accident? Discuss? Frame Damage?
- Your Full Name - spelling
- Does anything not work currently?
- How often did you get the oil changed? Did you do service at the dealer/other - do you have all the service records? Other fluids replaced (steering, brake fluid, coolant)? What repairs have been made to the vehicle
- Have you had any issues that are common on the JK - Head issues, oil cooler/filter housing, radiator leaks, rocker arms
- Are there any issues with the exterior? How is the paint, any serious scratches? Any dents?
- Any issues with the steering - is it tight and stable without excessive play? No vibrations? Does it track straight?
- Have the brakes been replaced? When?
How is the interior - any excessive wear or tears? AC/Heat, Power windows, gauges, does anything not work?
- What modifications have been done to the Jeep? Lifts, susension/steering mods, engine mods? Followup - Who did the work? How High Lift?
- Are you running the stock tire size and stock wheels? Size of Tire? How much tread is left?
- How often did you off-road the vehicle
- Any sort of overheating issues
- Any Check Engine Lights?
- Any oil leaks or oil consumption issues?
- Any sort of rust issues on the frame or body?
- Any sort of strange noises when driving?
- Is the hard top in good shape, no leaks, no major scratches?
- Any sort of engine ticking noise - have them start the vehicle and put the phone pointed towards the engine cover so I can listen
- If I come out and inspect the vehicle, would you mind if I use an OBDII scanner tool to check for any sort of vehicle diagnostic codes?
