It's just one of those vinyl decals. I chose the font from Canva (it's called Chewy), and then told the install that I wanted the ouline of the font in black and thick. ,and the middle of the font cut out so that it's just the Bikini Pearl paint color in the center. Good luck.

I was considering a Gladiator. I'm hoping they put something a little more potent than the Penestar in it though. It struggles a bit at elevation going up mountains. Wouldn't mind seeing a Hurricane in it!!

@@The.Garage.Studio She’ll be gone by the end of the month and replace her with another Tim Kuniskis disciple and then split Chrysler Group. They’re setting this up to split so perfectly. According to TK’s Garage there might be an announcement on a possible IPO like they did with Ferrari, by early March.

@@DUNEATV I really love my turbo.. especially for towing in the mountains. But that 3.6 is really durable.. and handles the heat better than the turbo's. So probably a good choice for towing duties. That's the reason the Gladiator has the 3.6 vs the Turbo.

@@The.Garage.Studio yes most of my towing is to the Glamis Sanddune’s from Phoenix, so I don’t hit too many hills! But that eight speed transmission as you know is absolutely glorious!

I definitely agree with that. I have the Smart Stop/Start device. Love it.

They did offer a lot of incentives. Especially on 2023's and 2024's that were still on the lot. But the incentives need to be national.. not local.

That's awesome. I did see a video on removing the one-touch top. Yeah.. not too bad.. you just have to keep the bolts organized. I need to do a video on the diffence between driving with the convertible top vs the skytop and the wind noise. That'd be a good one.

Interesting. With the new Wranglers coming out in 2028, I doubt they'd reuse that now. I'm super interested in the new platform for the Wrangler. I had originally thought they were going to use the STLA Frame platform, but someone said the wrangler were too short for it. Then I heard from another source that they were going to use the frame platform. Going to be interesting. Chrysler definitely needs to find their niche.

@ The 2.0l Hurricane4 is being updated for 2026 to eventually replace the Pentastar V6. It’s going to debut in the 2026 Grand Cherokee.

I do. I did the auxiliary bypass cause my auxiliary battery was going out. It would still drain my main battery if I didn't have the bypass in place.

Mopar makes a really interesting sunshade they call a bonnet, which is made of a vinyl material which I think is more protective of rain. It's a pretty interesting product.

Supposedly only the Rubicon's have the 5K towing capacity. The Willys doesn't have the full float rear axle.

@ it has 4.10 gears and the e-locker. That doesn’t mean it has the same axle as the rubicon, but it’s seems like it might. (on paper at least) I’ll have to do a bit more digging to see.

@@Tempsho Yeah.. according to the owners manual, it doesn't list it.. but they did make quite a few upgrades on the Willys.. so maybe they got the floating axle. I wish I had a resource for ya. Good luck.

Yep.. You can get that from the cluster, but JSCAN can display that in the live data view. I'll be doing a video on that soon.. I want to do a video comparing towing between my 4C Turbo and a Penestar.. and want to dispaly all the vital stats on one screen. Will be doing that with JSCAN.

Yeah, no way for the 2 door. Just the market isn't there. I'm with you on the PHEV option. Jeep is going to be first to market with their PHEV range extending RamCharger. Tim Kuniskis can't wait to get that out there. Shuld be awesome.

I know.. that's what off-roading with half doors get ya. Even with a thorough cleaning.. the dust finds it's way back from all the nooks and crannies..!!

There is lots of complexity regardless of electrification. Granted, it does add another wrinkle but it's still interesting to see how things progress. I test drove a 4xe Wrangler and own a RAV4 Prime. I loved the 4xe drivetrain, they've just had a number of issues with the battery. Personally, i'm looking forward to see what Kuniskis will do with the RamCharger. That things is gonna be nuts.

Interesting. Are you saying Kuniskis is not interested in the new CDJR Head position.. or that he's taken himself out of the Stellantis CEO because of the upcoming split. I don't know.. I think CDJR is their cash cow.. so hard to let them go.

@ I’m guessing it’s probably because of the upcoming split. It just seems inevitable, because Trump might be going after Stellantis. Exor will still be the majority owner, but they’ll bring in probably bring in American investors due to pressure from the Trump administration via a possible SEC investigation. As, Trump has tapped U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno(R-OH) as “Stellant Czar to go after them.

It’s either CDJR gets split off or Stellantis as a whole goes bankrupt.

That's awesome. I bought a similar Sport-S with Bikini Pearl. Love it. Only thing i'd recommend is really go thru it with a fine tooth comb checking for any signs of corrosion. Congrats.

The fact that they took away the ability to get painted fenders on the Rubicon, and had to go with a Rubicon X is one example of what the head of Jeep was talking about.

You have to tie into the turn signal wiring. You need to pull back the liner in the fender well to get access to the wiring. I started to do it.. but decided not to. May do it later with an updated video.
