Sergio Marchionne was the CEO of Fiat, then FCA; not Elkann. Marchionne was responsible for all the high performance vehicles we got and love from 2010-2018 including the Hellcat (until his death). He died in 2018 and the company began its slide immediately after. Marchionne saved Chrysler from the scrap heap.

Elkann is a terrible human being. A man that hates America so much, he renounced his American citizenship (he was born stateside). Sooooooo, let that sink in for a minute.
TK's sources are fine (I know who two of them are at the "executive" level), but they tell him certain things knowing that they'll make it to the public. So right now it's "hope" mode. Whether he knows it or not, he's just getting fed what they want to make it out to public in a sort of "leak" fashion. Conversations have been had but, he's working on Pontiac's rebirth, and it would take a miracle to get him back to Stellantis....at least right now, Stellantis isn't willing to give him the control he would need to make that company successful.

Well, Mercedes Benz brought back Rear wheel drive cars at Chrysler. The Hemi engine in passenger cars. The Chrysler 300, The Charger, The Challenger, the Superbee, the SRT truck etc etc. Mercedes turned the company back to normal. Fiat etc just run with what was there. Oh, and spread Chrysler back to the World in the late 90s, to their traditional markets.....now all destroyed by FCA, Peugot etc.

I bought my first challenger in 2019 I fell in love with it. The sad part was that it was only a V6 but I had to get rid of it due to economic reasons. I wanted to get back into a challenger in 2023 but unfortunately they were asking for $50K on an R/T with a 6-speed manual. I had to turn it down. Now all the dealerships around me can’t move any Stellantis products off their lots. I keep seeing the same challenger I looked at sitting on the lot rotting away because it’s too expensive. The dealership manager even took $10K off MSRP and people won’t budge on it. I think the brotherhood has stood up and said enough and I love to see it because it means the consumers are the real bosses of Stellantis and not whoever is up top.

Dodge did nothing for consumers buying their branded vehicles.
We finally found out that we were not Dodge's customer. The stealership networks were. Dodge didn't care about us.
I learned all these things from personal experience while Tim ran the show. I'll never buy another new dodge again.

I think there is a place for EV's. They are probably great in an urban setting. Once you are getting into the more rural settings they just don't make sense. They don't have the range to go across the country. The United States is a really big place. Some areas are sparsely populated with little or no infrastructure. Areas like that need internal combustion engines and will for the foreseeable future. Use common sense. I have been a Mopar man most of my life. That being said, I will not be purchasing any of the current Mopar cars or trucks. The build quality of them stink.

Yeah.. I have a Wrangler.. and we're getting a bigger trailer.. and I really like my Wrangler's looks and utility.. so i'm going to bite the bullet and eventually get a Gladiator to replace it. Probably in 8 months or so. I'm not giving up on them yet.

They really need to fix their product line, too many overpriced, low quality cars/trucks people dont want. Simplify and build reliable fun vehicles at a fair price. The big 3 wanted to sell less cars/trucks at an inflated price. That doesn't work, its been tried time and time again and it leads to bankruptcy.. build quality, reliable vehicles at a fair price and you will succeed. They ave ruined the jeep brand with poor reliability, im a land cruiser guy (have 5). My jeep freinds who are diehard jeep guys, when they are having multiple problems with their wifes brand new 80k$ jeep even they are turning away and when they leave they wont be back... They tried selling low quality jeeps at land cruiser prices and now everyone knows their crap and they cant sell them..
