If dodge is gonna survive they need to offer what they’ve always been about cheap speed. Neon srt4 $19k, dodge stealth r/t $26k, scat pack at $38k. They’re smoking crack thinking they’re gonna charge 40k for a hornet or 60k for a charger and move em.
Dodge and Plymouth always gave the working guy the ability to customize their vehicle. Power everything with automatic transmission, or basic no power anything and a standard transmission. They really need to get back to the basics for the working people. And that's what we want.
My first totally on my own brand new car was a Brighton edition Subaru Impreza 5 speed manual AWD . Very little horsepower but perfect for Colorado and actually fun and engaging. She was slightly north of $13K.
@@PassportBrosBusinessClass I think the darts and the 200. Where the best small to midsize looking cars out there. I had a 200c and it was reliable and sporty with just the 2.4L in it.
I'll go further, Barracuda for 2.0t-5.7 power and $45k for top models based on the departed Challenger and the upcoming Charger from 3.6, H-6, 392 to Hellcat and EV models ($$$ how much you wanna pay?).. 2 slightly different vehicles and enough variations for all customers..
While enthusiast cars are cool and have their place, they also need a normal car that sells, people forget dodge of the early 2000s was built off minivans and neon's and affordable work trucks not vipers.
true true, id love for them to have a mix of both. have a lineup of a bunch of basic cars (sedans, coupes, suvs of various sizes (includes crossovers and compacts), trucks (fold ram back into dodge), vans, van based pickup trucks (like the old vw bus pickup version, or if u look up van pickup truck on google and look at the images), minivans, wagons, utes, etc), some mid tier cars (pony cars, sports cars, GTs, etc), and some top tier cars (muscle cars, supercars, hypercars (maybe), etc). obviously more basic cars than the rest but a majority of the focus being on the mid and upper tier cars.
Unpopular opinion: even bringing V8 back won't make people buy the cars, because Dodge out priced itself from the normal folk that could have afforded a fun car, same with Wrangler, they are going beyond the reach of middle class, and people are deciding to stick with more practical more "quality" cars from other brands, as they all see dodge and Stellantis products as " cheap transportation" and people don't want to pay premium prices for cars they don't see as "premium". Nissan is in same situation now, it was a brand that was cheap to get into, but now if cheap brands are asking prices similar to more prestigious brands, why should they buy an inferior product. biggest example is all the outgoing models of charger/challenger sitting on lots with V8s , people don't want to buy them at current prices and cant afford them, but if they were priced as they were in 2015-2020, all stock would of been sold by now.
@@user-lg5uh8sr3d So I saw another video that just came out saying Stellantis wants to discount the old 2023 and 2024 stock big-time (up to 40%) to clear them out. I wonder how much they will discount those Scatpacks and Hellcats, making those who paid above MSRP for them when they first came out even more furious with their situation......🤨
Bring a Viper with a Hellcat, bring a smaller sized truck like the Dakota, change Ram trucks back to Dodge, make Chrysler a marque brand again and get another entry level car again.
Do a retro styled version of the Dodge Dart Sport from 1970-1974. Dodge and Plymouth used to have the A, B, C, and E body cars. The A-Body cars should be a Dart, and Neon. The B-Body cars should be slightly larger with the Charger, Roadrunner, SuperBee nameplates, C-Body cars should be the largest bodied cars with the Polara, Monaco, Fury nameplates in both 2 and 4 doors, and a station wagon for Police and families with performance. And finally the E-Body cars should be a Challenger and Barracuda with the Cuda as the SRT version for Plymouth!!!!
The first thing they should do is immediately discontinue the Hurricane engine and STLA platform, because both have been failures that will never make back their development costs. Focus on fixing Ram first, since that's the easiest one. Bring back the old engine options, and trim the fat (1500 doesn't need 13 trims). Then do something similar for Jeep. A base Wrangler should cost $25,000 or less. Then use the money from those to revive Dodge. Sell evolved versions of the LX Challenger and Charger (STLA Charger has no future). Bring back the Barracuda and Roadrunner as smaller corner-hugging counterparts to those with turbo hemi options. Finally, make bespoke luxury cars for Chrysler with actual names, like Cordoba and Imperial.
Every single last product that you mentioned is a performance/niche/enthusiast product. That’s not enough to keep a company alive. They’ve raised prices on regular consumer vehicles so high that many people have left and gone to the Japanese/Korean manufacturers. Not to mention, STELLANTIS has shitty consumer service at this point. They strained relations with everyone and now it’s time for them to go. The charger, EV and Jeep Wagoneer S launch is a disaster. You’re not getting any deliveries this year. You can’t even get a test drive video yet. They’re probably a lot further behind than they’re letting on. All of those hopes about them bringing back the V8 and the hellcat engines aren’t going to change the fact that insurance companies are charging a fortune for them and you’ll still be on the “most stolen” list.
I gotta agree, it’s wishful thinking. Stellantis has done so may things wrong over the years, like not allowing people to fix their own cars along with all of the other things you mentioned. It might be too little, too late at this point, but I would like to see the grandson of the founder of Chrysler buy back the company and finally put some love and dedication into their cars.
I've become VERY EXCITED for Stellantis's North American future! Great video. New subscriber here from a fellow Automotive RUclipsr. It's ironic that their economy cars have been a flop... considering the K Car saved Chrysler back in the day..
Ferrari canceled their v12 going forward their latest model is their last year for that engine. That's one of the reasons why they're offering v6 to other brands like alfa romeo and maserati.
I agree everyone in the comment section is spot on! Also bring back all the goofy high impact colors to put finishing touches on the car. Top banana, panther pink etc.
I would recommend the following. Realistic List -I totally agree with a Cuda (slightly restyled and shortened wheelbase Charger) that could compete with a Mustang. The Cuda must have a V8 engine and a manual transmission option. -Chargers (2 door & 4 door) with V8 engines and a manual transmission options which would make this car the only true muscle car available Wish List -SRT4 (no Neon nameplate) to compete against the Civic, Civic Si, and Civic Type R -Dodge Stealth with a hurricane engine and a manual transmission option to compete against the Supra, Nissan Z, BMW 2 Series -Dodge Viper with all V8 engines and manual transmission options. The styling could be based upon the final Viper model mixed with the Ferrari 599 GTB (front engine & rear wheel drive) for an exotic look. The pricing must still be competitive with the C8 Corvette. -Chrysler 200 series with manual transmission options to compete against the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes C Class, and Audi A4 -Chrysler 300 series to complete against the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes C Class, and Audi A6
v8 viper? no thanks at least call it something else because i like that idea but not as a viper. take a hemi and slap two more cylinders on it and make a longer and bigger blower to fit in the valley
Hellcat a AWD 300c and don't unalive my beloved Durango! Change the Jeep Grand Cherokee body style back to the sleeker look, the new body is ugly. Great video man.
a budget muscle car would be light weight with a tunable motor leave the door open to offer big power upgrades a commemorative LO23 Dart with a 260 cubic inch 4.26 liter twin turbo hemi dubbed the flying ram with the old mr norms flying rams on the valve covers !
Track to dealership sales. Dodge needs to put Hornet on the EVO stadium track. Run against older Mitsubishi EVO, Subaru, Ford, & VW. Take the Hornet hybrid gt platform and add 20" overhang for a trunk. Remove turbo engine for 2.0L & 2.4L motors. Combined with 60hp, 80hp, 100hp, 121hp rear electric RWD. PLUS EV mode. Plus 2 sizes battery packs easy to remove & swap. There needs to be a family affordable family car.
they are actually racing the hornet in nitrocross i believe but its full ev iirc. i wouldnt mind that coming to market as a street legal version thats a souped up hybrid instead. maybe take the R/T hornets hybrid and rebuild it for a combined like 600hp or so. give it some rally suspension and offroad tires, as well as some similar aero to the race model, and boom there u go
I would love to see the neon come back. I have a 05 SXT special edition with a 5speed manual transmission it has 195250 miles on it and I drive it daily
Why can't Dodge keep the old MB S platform that made the 300, Charger, Challenger, Magnum? But cancel those bodies for Cuda, reuse the 2012 charger headlights and 1969 inspired Coronet super Bee nose on the base middle 300 (glass, & doors) and flat tail inspired 1968-69 Coronet. Plus Coronet wagon high roof. Not the magnum roof. Bring back lift top glass and flip down tail gate. Plus Coronet 2dr UTE- pickup. For Chrysler keep 300 center & new nose tail for Newport (1956 inspired nose with 2003 mini cooper like head lights, 56 newport tail inspired. ), New Yorker (1965-66 inspired nose & side body, using 2016 Ram classic headlight assembly & 1965 Newport tail light assembly inspired) & long wheel base Imperial (1973 Imperial nose and tail inspired). 3.6L with Hybrid electric motor to FWD. Since 300 offered AWD 3.6L. Instead of turbo assist, electric motor would be that instant power and boost. EV mode 16-30 miles (depending conditions) for small battery & capacitor pack.
I think they should make a new wrangler already. Maybe something with square headlights. Models with independent suspension and models with live axles.
I believe they are bringing back the Dodge Stealth... as a three row SUV. They need volume models. I would say a small sedan (i.e. Dodge Neon). A small SUV that is bigger than the Hornet or Compass but smaller than a Durango (Dodge Dart?). Hellcat should be it's own brand like SRT was.
7:22 I don't think for one second that Chevy turned the Corvette into a mid-engine to add super-car appeal. They clearly switched because that form factor it is much easier to convert to an EV. The short rear on the Viper and outgoing C7 would not have fit a large enough battery for a performance EV.
Butter, you pretty much mirrored my thoughts. Especially about Chrysler. Stellantis really missed the mark on that one, but it was many due to the arrogance of Tavares and the Board of Directors. They wouldn't consider putting an American brand ahead of a European brand, when challenging Mercedes & BMW.
Bring back the "fiat style viper- The last generation of Viper- chassis but with a V10 HEMI, More updated interior designs, & slight differences in its exterior. Take the 6.2 hellcat hemi- add two more cylinders... more cost effective then people think.
This, you understand and i was thinking the same thing. People keep suggesting for small dohc turbo engines like that wont raise up prices up. CHEAP SPEED IS WHAT MOPAR WAS BUILT OFF ??
If jeep wants to survive they need to drop prices by at least 25%, and give us a 5.7 wrangler. Most people don’t need a 392 wrangler and in jeep circles where hemi swaps are popular, the main reason people cite for 392 swaps is just that it’s cooler. A 5.7 wrangler and gladiator would be perfect for the people who want more power than the Pentastar but don’t wanna shell out the extra money for a 392
That dodge attitude looks great!!! Like an audi rs3!! If they do a 2.4 turbo and awd. They can compete with the wrx and vw golf. Dodge does not have a mid-size truck? That's a huge market . Also, Dodge should bring back the viper with the V-10 and create the copper head, and that's where it will have the 6.4 Hemi.
@fadedsoul23 that's cool a turbo 6 is good. I just know an awd turbo 4 that makes 300+ hp is a great market to get into. The Evo, Focus St & RS and WRX STI is no more. They can easily take that spot, the Dodge attitude ( please change the name for the US market) has the looks of a high end sport compact.
They should not bring back anything Hellcat. They need to let that era be what it was… However, they need to start making smaller displacement, turbo V8’s, 6’s, or 4-bangers. If I was the CEO, I’d revive the Viper in a mid engine twin turbo 6.2L (hellcat) configuration, hemi Cuda in a 5.7 twin turbo, Stealth in a V6 twin turbo and the SRT-4 in a four cylinder Twin turbo as the new lineup moving forward. This will dominate the U.S. performance market at all levels and get butt’s back in the seats! Also, they can flex fuel these vehicles allowing owners to choose what ever fuel they want. This brings much needed diversity at all price points while appeasing the “Last Call” and everyday Hellcat owners by keeping their investments relevant. Yes, I have a business degree and yes I’m immediately available for hire @Stellantis @Dodge
Americans dont like small turbo engines, also those smaller turbo engines will cost most which jacks up the price. Bigger n/a displacement sells in american cars. The viper is already mid engine and they should keep that body style, besides the viper is based off the ac cobra so putting the engine behind the driver wouldn’t make sense. The only 4 cylinder turbo car id bring is the neon. Also small turbo engines aren’t ideal for straight line drag racing which is what mopar cars are made for. Too expensive, too complicated ( look at the hurricane 6 ), and damn near impossible to maintain long term. American brands dont survive without large V8. Let the Europeans stick to small turbo cars.
Americans LOVE small turbo engines. The F150 is the best selling vehicle in America, and the engine optioned almost 3 to 1 over Ford’s fabulous V8 option is the 3.5 Ecoboost. Americans have no problem with turbo engines. In the case of the F150, customers pick the engine that makes the most usable power and does “truck” things the best I.e. towing. They’re even paying a premium for the 3.5. The folks with a problem with any engine other than a V8 seem to be the recent (2015-present) “Mopar” enthusiasts. Hell many of us long time Mopar enthusiasts fondly recall the turbo-Mopar era; all those Turbo 2.2 & 2.5 cars that would easily lay waste to the F-Body’s & Mustangs of the era that were everywhere like dog shit in the yard. Chevy 305, lol what a joke that thing was!! 😆
@@Alan-tr5ujbest selling cause they keep breaking😂. Why use a reliable engine when you can just get a new one every few years. Ford has millions of recalls on the ecoboost engine Also nobody talks about mopar i6 era. They talk about the gen 2 hellephant 426 hemi, 440 magnum, 426 max wedge, 340, 383, 400etc. Those engines dominated the race track and streets. Nobody asked for a twin turbo i6 charger. If everyone “loves” small turbo engines, then these new dodge cars would be selling but they’re not.
@StockCarGuy They also dominated the mechanics garages and gas stations in the '70s also with the Japanese eating sales. Only the Dart, Valiant, Aspen etc somewhat save Chrysler in the '70s and the K-car in the '80s with small engines. I agree v8s should be available but it's not "end all be all" either...
I already proposed three turbo Hemi V8 engines: a 350hp 4.7 liter turbo V8, a 425hp 5.2 liter turbo V8, and a 575-580hp 5.9 liter turbo V8. This makes sense for Dodge.
The viper should not be mid engine but that is just my honest opinion. Also the Avenger was an amazing car my dad had one for 10 years and it was awesome. I think bringing an avenger back would be awesome. Or maybe a combination of the neon and avenger
This couldn’t have been done any better Butter. I agree totally and i do own a TRX,Durango Hellcat,Daytona Hellcat. They need to put the redeye in the TRX and name it RAM-R to remind the Raptor-R who’s ur daddy. Like seriously make the 300 a Hellcat and a Hellcat wagoneer to kill that Escalade V is perfect. Yes the TrackHawk needs to come back. I would trade my TRX up to a Redeye TRX and I’m thinking about trading in Durango Hellcat for a newer one like a 24 or 25 before the end of month. This needed a redeye too. If Dodge wants to get this all started is to stick hellcats and redeyes in things and 100% make the CUDA and create the Ghoul once and for all-maybe make that viper you are talking about but name it the Ghoul even tho Ghoul sounds more like a crazy muscle car and make it with a supercharger and turbos. -that would be a GHOUL. Dodge it’s easy to get your pissed off customers back before we commit to something else. It’s like a break up with a chick -once a certain time passes you just feel like you wasted your time in the first place and start to think you never really liked her in first place. So get on it quick-Trump doesn’t care and have him get rid of that new law that kicks in in 2026 that makes our cars spy machines and able to be controlled by govt and 3rd parties. And while we are at it get Trump to get rid of the DEF crap and make a twin turbo diesel in the TRX body style. Or the original TRX concept body style-I’d buy that too for work. C’mon Dodge this is easy now let’s get going-give us what we want and listen to us we know what people want and people are about to get stuck in long car payments and not buy your vehicles if you don’t start a]making announcements-timing is everything and you don’t want ppl stuck in 6yr loans with some other brand plus i need to know for me and my family-friends. Corvette did piss me off with that weak bug looking ZR1-I’d rather have a C7 ZR1 -looks way meaner. it should look mean-get back here and make mean cars. LFG! Hire some huge RUclipsrs that build crazy cars and don’t get rid of all superchargers and only have turbos-mix it up. Anyway it’s important to make these cars so we can buy toys for them-that’s what made Dodge cool is all the accessories and easy mods to play with our cars like a video game.
Going with the old engines as they were doesn’t make sense, the competition has catched up, the Raptor R now beats the TRX in all metrics. But an upgraded HEMI and Pentastar lineups could be enough to keep the money coming fast and cheap. The Pentastar can reach 320-330Hp while returning 1-2 better MPGs just by adding direct injection, the HEMI’s need more work, but getting the 5.7L to 420Hp and the 6.4L to 500Hp while improving their numbers by a couple MPGs too isn’t impossible. The Hellcat V8 doesn’t need more power since it can make over 1000Hp easily, but making it lighter, more reliable and efficient is always a good thing. They need to improve their base engines since most Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, Pacifica, 300, Charger, Durango and Ram 1500 sales have the 3.6L V6 under the hood and some have the 5.7L HEMI, with those two making 95% of the sales.
If you want to save the brand. Bring the mid engine concept sport car back. Just before the release of the viper Dodge had a mid engine super car based on the v-10 and mazaradi If Dodge would have pursued that concept Corvette would have never caught up And the rest of the world would have been blown away. But we got the viper. A big front end heavy monstrosity on the track 😮
Stellantis just needs to take a platform & put bodies on it that is special for Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Citroen and Renault. Why not bring back Fiat X-1/9 by installing 1L - 1.3L FWD engine & trans in the back for RWD and nose being a trunk / battery pack? With FWD mild hybrid & EV mode. Dodge Slingshot.
Im gonna have to disagree with you on the viper and I'll cite your point about the trx vs the rho. What made these vehicles special wasn't just the chassis or the name plate, but the experience of what happened when you floored the throttle. A viper just isn't a viper without the symphony of all 10 cylinders trying to annihilate whatever may be connected to them. I can get behind the idea of a mid engine viper because you can only turn tires into smoke by adding more horsepower at this point, but getting the styling right is gonna be a real challenge since the other characteristic of the viper was that miles long hood housing the engine.
They were looking at bringing it back as a Dodge a few years back. It was supposedly going to be a smaller coupe/convertible that used the Giulia's platform.
These patents are just to protect the IPs. It's not to mean they are going to use them for any vehicle. It could even be a trim for a vehicle. Don't let this distract you from the fact that regardless of the name it heritage, if it's too expensive then it'll alienate it's revival. At this point, if there is a Chrysler Doodoofart that is sub 20k it'll probably save them and bring customers in. I'm probably the most forward looking Stellantis person in existence, and i absolutely love the new Charger. I think this is top 5 designs from the company, but the car easily clocks in around 65-70k. That's not the problem, the problem is that they are struggling and their only car is priced for the upper 30% of consumers.
First, the Viper was never a mid-engined car. It's a front-engined RWD sports car. Second, the Barracuda should never be a Dodge or a Chrysler. It should always be a Plymouth(a brand that should be brought back to be the entry level brand). The Hellcat isn't coming back. It's time is done.
Those are some good choices. Probably never happen but u are right. Dodge did try a neon replacement with the dart but it didn't sell much. Bad timing.
With Chrysler YES, this name brand should be competing with Cadillac, Lincoln, Lexus, and the Euro brands. I would bring back the Aspen, Windsor, 300, Town &Country, and Newport nameplates. The 300 should be a luxury sports car.
Chrysler has never been a competitor to luxury brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, and Cadillac. It's more of a Buick competitor. Also, Lincoln currently is not a competitor to Cadillac. It's more of a Buick competitor right now.
@ 4s are more likely to happen because of simplistic engineering Either way having an affordable fun car to compete with the Japanese market would be great
Great Analysis the problem with Stellantis is you can't fix stupid and it gets worst when you don't listen to your customers and then dealers took advantage of the last year of the Hemi's by overcharging with premiums over the MSRP, forcing EVs which has range and support issues.
The MC 20 should not be used for a new Viper. They need to create a different architecture for the Viper and different engine sizes from v10 or v12 engines with automatic transmission and manual option.
I hate that I actually kinda like the idea with the MC20 -> Viper.. but I do love both, and it could kinda make sense to save quite a bit of money from building it from scratch. Gotta have a V10 though.
I have a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit with the 5.7L Hemi V8. I bought the Jeep new in April of 2024 but had to go three hundred miles one-way from my home to get the Hemi. Regardless of what happens to Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM, I will keep this Jeep and my 2021 Chrysler 300c for the rest of my life. The Wagoneer is ugly, and why I want to see Ralph Giles gone!
They have lost the trust of the passionate customers, even some half assed hemi models won’t save them . Plus if they have shut down the hellcat production line turning it back on and calibrating all the robots and cnc machines setting up will mean a whole new set to tolerance issues leading to new problems like a new model year car on its first year of production. It would take them another 2-3 years to fix those issues.
The current JGC would need a slight redesign for a trackhawk model. More aerodynamic the viper, cuda, neon for sure turn the Grand wagoneer into a chrysler with a huge 300c facial and a better window design That chrysler imperial they teased years ago, updated. S580, 760, A8 comp Make a suv version of the ram 1500 aka commander or something. Suburban, Yukon comp
Definitely agree about the smaller Challenger Cuda but you forgot the most important vehicle a new Dakota no bigger than the first or second generation with a Hemi my 98 Dakota was one of my favorite vehicles I ever had also bring back the pentastar logo or at least a Dodge fratzog logo from the 60s
@ You Onto Something Knowing The 99 Charger Concept Was A Sedan So If They Keep That Same Blueprint Change Certain Things Here And There So A Modern 4 Door Sedan Road Runner Would Be Something Crazy/Different
Jeep could also bring back the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Hemi 5.7L 360 which was a very popular Off Road Grand Cherokee! I own a 2020 GC Trailhawk Hemi 5.7L and it is great off roader!
I agree with your idea for Chrysler I got a 2005 Pacifica and automatic transmission that I can shift like a manual with out a clutch pedal and it has high end finishings like a car of a bmw would have back in the day
so a liberty gears transmission or a sequential where a clutch is only need for coming to a stop and taking off from a stop? they are still true manuals but dont use a clutch (or often in the case of the sequential). or have both and call up koenigsegg for their funky manumatic (thats what i call it at least) found in the cc850 and the chimera (id argue the chimera's version is better because u get a manual, a drive gear, and u can also use paddles, the cc850 doesnt have paddles). im sure they can work something out to make it cheaper. maybe they can also use freevalve. and maybe their dark matter electric motors for some crazy HO hybrids
Srt4 the dart was there chance they dropped the ball . Next 300 has become the Lincoln towncar/ taxi it needs a different direction completely not hp. Next ....Viper...it needs an automatic & to be a SPORTS CAR mid engine as for V10 optional similar to the Audi R8 Trackhawk means keeping cherokee line around... and profitable Trx...buyable offroad truck offroad only
Hi Butter - Arman again. What these manufacturers are not realizing is that there is a huge appetite for muscle/racy American cars but they are simply not capturing the market due to the price points. Even a base V8 Mustang is now $45k and not $35k like it used to be even 5 years ago. Stellantis needs to lower the price of the car and cater to the enthusiasts. Huge money to be made around the $35k to $50k range.
You still got Tim’s contact? Lots of us trying to order a Ram HD and they have a glitch in the order system and can’t get anyone to fix.. A lot of us waiting for them to add rear air suspension to 3500 SRW trucks.. Ram Cares and Stellantis run you in a circle lol.. Great content by the way been a sub for a long time.
They need cheap volume sellers to get customers in Then get them to eventually move up to bigger and more powerful vehicles Specialty vehicles won’t carry the company They are the gravy Remember the Caravan They were everywhere That is what they need plus 4 and 6 and 8 cyl in the sports cars Look at the Mustang and Camaro People bought them and moved up Not everyone has 60k to buy a base vehicle with the cheapest parts and quality or wants to from Stellantis Look at the Demon 170 issues and the hurricane engine and not ti forget the Hornet
A new neon would succeed if it was made to look like the old one, and was priced cheap. I think the hornet would be a seller if it didn’t have so many issues and was $10,000 cheaper than the current pricing.
Dodge doesn't need a V12 engine for the viper. The V10 is heavy enough. It does need to upgrade the Viper V10 into a new trim that will blow people's minds. The HELLVIPER! Two huge turbos with a firey Viper emblem, 1200 hp , plenty of aero, plus active aero, adjustable suspension... track killer
I would like to see the return of the dodge viper with a updated v10 and dodge stealth fastback with maybe the classic viper roof and the hurricane engine rwd and/awd
2025 Dodge Charger with that nose wing. It would be interesting to compare that down force & drag compared to the Viper ACR. Love to see Charger I-6 Hurricane thermostat issue fixed. Electric FWD would make for better strait launches for drag and off the corner road racing. FWD Electric corvette with mid engine, made that car so much better. I like the ACR viper as much as I like the Ford Cobra & Dayton. But I do wonder what that 2025 Charger body with that nose wing will do. Plus maybe like a unlimited hydroplane, interior pitch control. Or airplane elevator, maybe last 2" move able.
the corvette is hybrid but i get what ur saying, thatd be cool to see. dodge needs to step back from drag racing and attack other forms of racing. not saying they should stop with drag racing, but they shouldnt focus as hard on it. id love to see them enter GT racing (GT2, GT3, GT4) with street legal versions of whatever car or cars they enter with
They could build a bullet proofed naturally aspired 3.0 hurricane and put it in a tradesman. Fast & sexy? Nope. But if you bulletproof it fleet operators & tradesman will by them by the millions. Build to last 200k or more.
I totally agree, especially with getting All Mopar vehicle prices correctly. Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Chrysler vehicles are way over priced and people don't want to pay these hight prices. I especially agree with resurrecting the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, I personally on a 2020 V6 Trailhawk, it isn't a trackhawk but I love my truck and I was sad to see the Trailhawk model turn into a 4xE with the NA V6 not available for the Gen 5 model. I would love to see the TrailHawk for the Grand Cherokee come back with the Pentastar V6 not the Hurricane for obvious reasons. To be fair and honest, talking or in this case writing about what Stellantis could or should do to save the company, I believe it comes down to if John Elkin is going to obviously give what the people what and and more important, make sure that any or all Mopar products has better quality materials in each vehicle. This this day people are scared of there 60+k truck is going to catch on fire in there drive way or while driving there vehicle is going to lock up on the highway going 66 miles per our, all because the wiring harness are too short. John Elkin needs to mend fences with all previous supplies for Mopar and insure the public that the Days of Carlos Tavares are done and we are looking to better future for the customers. But only time will tell, I'm hopefully but still skeptical give Stellantis track record.
Unless you're Toyota, you get away with charging 40k for a PHEV. But Toyota earned that right for the Rav-4
This isn’t 2016 lol cars will probably never be that cheap again.
@ disagree, could easily do a 350hp coupe for $32k, 350hp awd sedan for $35k, or a near 500hp car for sub $50k.
The Dart should have replaced the Neon.
A Dart SRT should have replaced the SRT4.
Should have not been called a dart it was a neon 😢
It would have cool if they offered pentastar V6 in it and AWD .
Make it RWD and offer a 340 V8 (albeit updated and upgraded) as its top engine option.
@@PassportBrosBusinessClass I think the darts and the 200. Where the best small to midsize looking cars out there. I had a 200c and it was reliable and sporty with just the 2.4L in it.
@@markdubois4882that’s unrealistic asfk.
I love the ideal of bringing back the Cuda. Please tell my friend Ralph Gilles, to keep it retro styled like the Challenger was.
Finally someone agrees v8 isnt enough the design is was makes it unique!
Retro 1971 Hemi Cuda and some V6 Cudas for Avis and Hertz.
They already had it under Tim before he resigned. He was teasing the cuda on Instagram under a black tarp
And make it smaller than the challenger so it can be a good track car!
This!
That’s where dodge went wrong they were too much focused on the charger and challenger!
Grocery getters and econoboxes has always been the backbone for the majority of car manufacturers in the world.
Grocery getters and econoboxes has always been the backbone for the majority of car manufacturers in the world.
true true, id love for them to have a mix of both. have a lineup of a bunch of basic cars (sedans, coupes, suvs of various sizes (includes crossovers and compacts), trucks (fold ram back into dodge), vans, van based pickup trucks (like the old vw bus pickup version, or if u look up van pickup truck on google and look at the images), minivans, wagons, utes, etc), some mid tier cars (pony cars, sports cars, GTs, etc), and some top tier cars (muscle cars, supercars, hypercars (maybe), etc). obviously more basic cars than the rest but a majority of the focus being on the mid and upper tier cars.
There are thousand of 2023 Hellcat and Scat rotting on dealership, nobody wants those cars anymore
Spot on analysis.
I’d say that’s almost any cancelled model. Very few people want to invest into something that is going to be replaced.
Possibly, but maybe with leases or used cars, they can get back on their feet.
Bring a Viper with a Hellcat, bring a smaller sized truck like the Dakota, change Ram trucks back to Dodge, make Chrysler a marque brand again and get another entry level car again.
No. The Viper need to be a V10 with different engine sizes. Putting a v8 in it makes no sense.
No bring back a new power train make it fit the new design
@@taylef and a new V10
if the viper comes back with a v8, viper should be a v10, something above it should have a v12
The last version of the Viper did not sell and cost Chrysler millions while Corvettes had great success. USA is in love with high powered V8s.
Looking forward to seeing that Cuda. I hope they do it
How about "The ElectraCuda"?
I want the dodge magnum to come back. They need to redesign their v8’s as well. Hemi’s while reliable are old, heavy and unmodifiable
Stellantis put itself into a death spiral.
If he dies- he dies
I agree
Well, that plus paying Tesla for the emissions credits to keep producing their V8 while they were.
They need to start off bringing a real Dodge Neon(Ice) low $20k ish and unleashed those beast.
I saw the title and thought the vehicles would be:
- Ghost
- Warthog
- Banshee
- Pelican
- Scarab
awd 300c srt hellcat imo
Realistic List
-I totally agree with a Cuda (slightly restyled and shortened wheelbase Charger) that could compete with a Mustang. The Cuda must have a V8 engine and a manual transmission option.
-Chargers (2 door & 4 door) with V8 engines and a manual transmission options which would make this car the only true muscle car available
Wish List
-SRT4 (no Neon nameplate) to compete against the Civic, Civic Si, and Civic Type R
-Dodge Stealth with a hurricane engine and a manual transmission option to compete against the Supra, Nissan Z, BMW 2 Series
-Dodge Viper with all V8 engines and manual transmission options. The styling could be based upon the final Viper model mixed with the Ferrari 599 GTB (front engine & rear wheel drive) for an exotic look. The pricing must still be competitive with the C8 Corvette.
-Chrysler 200 series with manual transmission options to compete against the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes C Class, and Audi A4
-Chrysler 300 series to complete against the BMW 5 Series, Mercedes C Class, and Audi A6
v8 viper? no thanks at least call it something else because i like that idea but not as a viper. take a hemi and slap two more cylinders on it and make a longer and bigger blower to fit in the valley
Hellcat a AWD 300c and don't unalive my beloved Durango! Change the Jeep Grand Cherokee body style back to the sleeker look, the new body is ugly. Great video man.
Imagine a new Dodge Magnum with a HEMI Hellcat, AWD, perfect for fighting the BMW M5 Touring.
Your are on the right path. CDJR need that right now to getting back on top and kick ass
a budget muscle car would be light weight with a tunable motor leave the door open to offer big power upgrades a commemorative LO23 Dart with a 260 cubic inch 4.26 liter twin turbo hemi dubbed the flying ram with the old mr norms flying rams on the valve covers !
Bring back the "fiat style viper- The last generation of Viper- chassis but with a V10 HEMI,
More updated interior designs, & slight differences in its exterior.
The V10 is based on the 360.
Butter for Stellantis CEO! 🔥
If jeep wants to survive they need to drop prices by at least 25%, and give us a 5.7 wrangler. Most people don’t need a 392 wrangler and in jeep circles where hemi swaps are popular, the main reason people cite for 392 swaps is just that it’s cooler. A 5.7 wrangler and gladiator would be perfect for the people who want more power than the Pentastar but don’t wanna shell out the extra money for a 392
Bring the Chrysler Imperial with sucide doors v-8 hemi two tone option, wouldn’t be able to build enough of these
we all want the cud’s reborn
They could use the Dart chassis for like a mini Charger. Supercharge the 3.6L Pentastar V6...that would be a fun little car!
That dodge attitude looks great!!! Like an audi rs3!! If they do a 2.4 turbo and awd. They can compete with the wrx and vw golf. Dodge does not have a mid-size truck? That's a huge market . Also, Dodge should bring back the viper with the V-10 and create the copper head, and that's where it will have the 6.4 Hemi.
to compete with the rs3, id like to see them make a hurricane based single turbo i5
@fadedsoul23 that's cool a turbo 6 is good. I just know an awd turbo 4 that makes 300+ hp is a great market to get into. The Evo, Focus St & RS and WRX STI is no more. They can easily take that spot, the Dodge attitude ( please change the name for the US market) has the looks of a high end sport compact.
@@WesM757 very true, that’d be cool to see
PT Cruiser is a high volume affordable everymans car. That would help save stellantis. Like it or hate it the PT Cruiser kept the lights on.
Would love the Viper to come back, but should be a V10.
That or a Cuda that’s smaller and sportier than the Challenger
The prowler was great too
They don’t make without Trucks! Period
Just before the release of the viper Dodge had a mid engine super car based on the v-10 and mazaradi If Dodge would have pursued that concept Corvette would have never caught up
And the rest of the world would have been blown away.
I’ve been praying for the day we get a real challenger acr
Well i think we are all happy about Tim Kaniskus Being Back!
I think Stellantis should hire you man! They are freaking clueless. Butter for CEO. You got my vote. Your slogan.... "Bring Common Sence Back!"
I heard there was a rumor that the Plymouth Cuda might return…
They were looking at bringing it back as a Dodge a few years back. It was supposedly going to be a smaller coupe/convertible that used the Giulia's platform.
Dodge should bring back the viper, neon, intrepid, nitro, and also make a neon hatchback!
If a new viper drops I'll buy it sight on seen.
How about a convertible RWD Chrysler Cordoba "Corinthian Leather" interior with a Pentistar and a Hemi option.
If they brought back the Neon SRT4 to compete with Honda !!
I might actually buy in
id love to see an srt-5 too, turbo i5s are amazing! have an NA i5 as the base/mid trim engine
@ 4s are more likely to happen because of simplistic engineering
Either way having an affordable fun car to compete with the Japanese market would be great
@@JamesTheCarGuy 4s are definitely more likely but imagine the fives, that’d be awesome
Great Analysis the problem with Stellantis is you can't fix stupid and it gets worst when you don't listen to your customers and then dealers took advantage of the last year of the Hemi's by overcharging with premiums over the MSRP, forcing EVs which has range and support issues.
An Automatic Mid Engine Viper & SRT/Hellcat powered Chrysler 300 are all I want to see 😅
as long as the viper has a v10 and an OPTION for a manual, we all good
The MC 20 should not be used for a new Viper.
Bring back dodge magnum trim line awd 🙌
A hellcat powered mid engine Tomahawk sounds like a winner to me
They need a gearhead CEO like me!
We need the roadrunner and cude back. we honestly need plymouth and dodge running at the same time like the old days
Love it. Keep the content coming man 💪🏻
Two things they really need are affordability and to actually fix all the quirks with the hemi and the 3.6 engine fix those and the cars are golden
Prices will save Stellantis, not just the cars.
Cuda has a retro modern design like Ford’s rumored boss 492 that’s the only thing not to make me get a blue one like Tommy from POWER 😂
The current JGC would need a slight redesign for a trackhawk model. More aerodynamic
the viper,
cuda, neon for sure
turn the Grand wagoneer into a chrysler with a huge 300c facial and a better window design
That chrysler imperial they teased years ago, updated. S580, 760, A8 comp
Make a suv version of the ram 1500 aka commander or something.
I Feel Like The 99 Charger Concept Just Under A Different Name Is The Perfect Time To Be Brought Back With A V6 And V8 Engine Option
Roadrunner
@ You Onto Something Knowing The 99 Charger Concept Was A Sedan So If They Keep That Same Blueprint Change Certain Things Here And There So A Modern 4 Door Sedan Road Runner Would Be Something Crazy/Different
Jeep could also bring back the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Hemi 5.7L 360 which was a very popular Off Road Grand Cherokee! I own a 2020 GC Trailhawk Hemi 5.7L and it is great off roader!
Bring back the chrysler p.t.crusuer for. Poor customer😢😢🎉🎉
I think they could make a little viper using a hurricane engine to compete with the Supera and Z. Maybe a “super stealth”
You people know getting is being food all this information to test the market right??? He is a mouthpiece for Stellantis.
They need to bring that back
Srt4 the dart was there chance they dropped the ball .
Next 300 has become the Lincoln towncar/ taxi it needs a different direction completely not hp.
Next ....Viper...it needs an automatic & to be a SPORTS CAR mid engine as for V10 optional similar to the Audi R8
Trackhawk means keeping cherokee line around... and profitable
Trx...buyable offroad truck offroad only
Hi Butter - Arman again.
Srt4 let’s go !!
Brilliant and inspiring.
They need cheap volume sellers to get customers in Then get them to eventually move up to bigger and more powerful vehicles Specialty vehicles won’t carry the company They are the gravy Remember the Caravan They were everywhere
That is what they need plus 4 and 6 and 8 cyl in the sports cars Look at the Mustang and Camaro People bought them and moved up Not everyone has 60k to buy a base vehicle with the cheapest parts and quality or wants to from Stellantis Look at the Demon 170 issues and the hurricane engine and not ti forget the Hornet
I wish Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram had their own performance for all the Hemi. Like how ford has Roush.
Why would they not use the merecedes amg for the viper platform with different engine ?
I love the 300c crysler wood love it to come back
2025 Dodge Charger with that nose wing. Or airplane elevator, maybe last 2" move able.
the corvette is hybrid but i get what ur saying, thatd be cool to see. dodge needs to step back from drag racing and attack other forms of racing. not saying they should stop with drag racing, but they shouldnt focus as hard on it. id love to see them enter GT racing (GT2, GT3, GT4) with street legal versions of whatever car or cars they enter with
What about a Dodge stealth with that twin turbo engine.
The Hurricane inline 6 is twin turbo but only if it doesn't have issues, then Stealth may be possible.
A new AAR CUDA WOULD BE GREAT
