Curious, so in order to make a super decent nice RUclips setup as a content creator one needs to invest about $1600 give or take without the camera and lense? It would be nice to include a list of a total package needed and cost for viewers and those what are interested in making/creating their own channel :)
i don't understand it, you making a 43 minute long video, and not mentioning a single time that ALL!! of your videos! are being color corrected! wtf ! why and how dare you not saying it? people are watching you and they definitely need to know that! yet you keep this a secret ? unsubscribing and dislike from 3 accounts
Wow! I can't believe I spent over 40 minutes watching this video. My brother, you have put real value in here. I'm super pomped seeing the ton of value in this one video. More grace. Blessings!
Dude straight up, I never comment. But Nolan’s set up is heaven for me. I am not into tech at all. But the quickness he is able to go from I want to make a video To record is the most valuable thing to me. Need that frictionless in the moment flow.
Wow! To all new RUclipsrs, a reminder that you are doing your best. Don't give up now. A little more push could bring the break you so desperately need.
Turning on my lights when this video was running in the background was, for sure, the best way to get my attention, haha! Honestly - this is the exact kind of video I was looking for. Glad it queued up!
I am just getting an idea when watching this if there are anybody out there who acts like a youtube studio consultant the same as interior decorators work but for youtube, You just tell him/her your budget and they set up a youtube studio for you according to your budget.
I honestly want to say thank you so much. I have watched over 20 to 40 videos looking for someone to actually shows us. They're set up and what they use to record VS doing a unboxing or review of a camera while shooting or recording from another Nolan set up Would be perfect for my RUclips channel. I have found everything I needed and very appreciative ❤
Really cool filming station. I have a wonky bedroom with only 1 blank wall. the rest is a full wall of closet and the other two have windows. I want to use that bedroom as my studio, but not sure how to maximize the minimal wall space I have and still get a background in my shots. I noticed you have a window in the room that lets some light in. It made me think I might be able to do the same think. Cool ideas here.
20:20 hilariois I love it 🤣 I use a tension set up that is meant for a backdrop to create a DIY curtain barrier for my space it’s nice cuz you can have a curve and get squared angles covered
Definitely taking some tips out of this video as my setup is trash atm lol. I was playing with adding a couple background retro lights and that definitely helps a lot!
These are great for talking to the camera, very thorough. But what about artists? Best set up and/or simple phone recording set up to shoot straight down and light my time-lapse painting/drawing and adjust for set up to shoot while at an easel too? I have rigged a ring light that holds my phone, but it's difficult to adjust for different sizes of artwork and different ways we work.
Storage and transfer of your footage: After recording, you want to start editing on your workstation. How do you streamline this? Not always can you connect your camera to the Mac/PC straight, so what do you use, just an SD card and plug it in the computer later on? In my experience working with Google Drive can be slow and will be a bottleneck in the workflow, just wondering what you guys have a best practice around this.
Great video with practical tips, thank you. Question: How to apply your set up to live-streaming musicians like myself? My audio comes from mixer to Irig stream pro audio interface to phone or computer. The audiointerface needs to be close to the computer or iphone. I want to upgrade to a pro camera like your Sony, but I don't want latency. Also the using the iphone as a camera is another option. Any help would be appreciated.
hi, guys. can i ask for advise here. a tutorial video will be highly appreciated. i love how nolan's video look like. so clean, sharp, and vibrant. can you help me get the same look with what i have for indoor talking head and at night time: zv-e10 (first version), a cheap 150 watt light (in a cheap soft box - no grid) that is only dimmable, no kelvin (only options are warm light and white light, and again dimmable), and viltrox AF 23mm f/1.4 lens. i have a small ulanzi led light with a knob at the back for kelvin and brightness i use as a rim light since it's not really bright enough but i'm not getting the intended rim lighting. thank you so much.
I think this is a great idea, but another video where you show how to set up a studio on a budget for people new to RUclips would be good. Some of the kit these guys now use will be out of the price range for a lot of those just starting out.
Just learning here, i am shooting more how to style videos (crafts) . I need to be farther from camera so you can see what I am doing. In addition i am moving and making something. Would love to see a video on with tips on this style rather than sitting or podcasts. Struggling with lighting and sound due to distance and movement .
This is a great set up review. The j you so much. You guys are the best at this. I love these tips. I want that set up. Thank you for providing the links and for the time you have taken doing this

Having the right setup would definitely boost your motivation and confidence on creating!
I am a layman in podcasting. I am still setting up. This episode was very helpful. I will always quote you "Complexity is the enemy of executiom"

I know someone you helps setup podcast studios. He charges $11K.
Sounds like a good venture.

Such an amazing video thankyou so much for spending all the time to make and edit the video!
This is one of the best videos on building out a RUclips recording setup on the internet - thanks!
I don't see the link for the soundbars on the wall. Is it in the description box?
Nice behind the scenes look at what you do. Thanks for sharing. "Crispy" might be slightly overused.
Definitely taking some tips out of this video as my setup is trash atm lol. I was playing with adding a couple background retro lights and that definitely helps a lot!

Great video but would have been great if you showed your rim light DEP setup. I am going to search RUclips for rim light setup now 😅
I like that drippy crispy!🤣
Just Incredible! Thank you Think Media!
This is kind of a weird idea, but I use a Newer light stand, but it can also be used as a C stand for both the camera and the light
Doesn't sound weird to me, sounds like you have a multi-purpose stand! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the tips. If you are sitting so close to the camera, how come it looks like a wide angle view, is it the camera?
Watched the whole video. Thank you for sharing !
Thank you. What a generous video.
Great tips. This is what the pros really use. This is my goal to set up my small media and production company. Thank you so much. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

@@ThinkMediaTV I dig it
Very informative👍👍
Super helpful, thanks for the wisdom!
Very informative presentation. The question is, how do you use the iPad for an extra camera?

I wish I had the money to get all this equipment for my podcast. This is definitely motivation 🤞🏾💪🏾💯
Wow, super comprehensive video. Building a home RUclips studio soon, exactly the advice I was looking for. Gained a sub and like 👍🏼
I also noticed that you are zooming in and out automatically, how are you doing that, is that after editing or a timer?
such an awesome video, very informative
Awesome, have a great new week my friend👍
Great info for a beginner like myself...
Very helpful. As a very beginner with limited funds for camera, would be nice to have a parallel version of this for iPhone creators.
Look at the video before this one, they did a cell phone setup last week
@@charlenek11 Thanks...will check out
5:29 which is the app being used for monitoring?
Hey brother what’s the skinny warm light in the back of you?
