I ordered everything but the cameras. I really needed something like this because I have very minimal space to work in. Thank you so much! It is perfect.
I’ve been a content creator on RUclips for 6 years and honestly this is the most helpful gear video I have ever seen. I am rebuilding my setup immediately! One thing I’m always trying to learn more about is how to become more knowledgeable about lighting. It is so hard to create pro looking lighting. I’m going to dig through your channel for some lighting tips cause it is a struggle. I feel like every one of my videos has different lighting and it’s so bad. Thanks for this video!!! New sub. ❤
I built a similar setup based on Caleb's DSLR Video Shooter from a few years ago. I got a cheap LED flat panel with diffuser from AliExpress and a dummy battery power adaptor so I can keep my Sony A6600 running without worrying about battery. The Rode Wireless is nice, but I went budget with a Tacstar SGC-600 on a long microphone boom arm. I also added a (microphone) shelf that holds all the remotes and adaptors keeping it tidy!
This has already been done by DSLR Video shooters 3 years ago. I think you guys are bigger channel so the reach is much more. Thanks for the awesome contents.
My content creating was being hindered from all the fatigue with setup and disassembly. This right here just changed the game and I have some of these already.. Thanks 😎
I just ordered every single recommended piece of equipment from the provided links! I am excited to get the setup done and get started with my RUclips channel. Thanks, Omar
You’re literally one of the best to do this. Also, I literally was going to pull the transcription to see how many times you said “literally” and “actually” but I literally don’t have time to do that. I actually have things to do so I literally just wrote this comment instead because it actually brings the same attention to the literal issue that I’m addressing, actually. HNY!!

Loving the piece by piece setup. There are SOOO many choices on Amazon it makes our lives easier as content creators if we can get a good recommendation to reasonable equipment, plus you guys make some money from the affiliate link...everyone wins. I would love to see a video covering tele prompters for budget, middle and high end. Also, It would be helpful to cover teleprompters that can be read from a distance lets say if 2 or 3 people are in frame so maybe the camera is at a shoot distance of 4 feet away. This is my current problem I am trying to research and solve.
Thank you my guy! My studio is about 240 sqft, so I don't have much room. Currently my lights and C-stand are dwarfing my space. I just bought the light, soft box, and c-stand that you recommended (using your links 👍🏾) Can't wait to get everything and reclaim my space!! ;)

Omar!!! I've been waiting on this setup tutorial!! Trust that I'll be ordering every piece of equipment using the links that's provided. Thank you very much! 💣💥💥💥
Thank you so much! This is going to be a game changer for me and my production. I ordered all this and OMG the amount of spread this light puts out is amazing. My cube lights didn't put out as much light as this light has. Excited to use the full setup while condensing my setup, which over the years has been a bit excessive.
FWIW, as a fellow working professional, I figured I’d check this video just to see what large channels are recommending. I own most of this gear as well and 100% agree with these recs.
I have the same lighting setup (not the camera part), except I bought the bigger lantern. I underestimated how huge that thing is! And I'm surprised how the 60 watter filled it up. I had bought it for 2 person interviews in the field, but wanted to experiement with it was a key light like you are, however i've only had shoots in small rooms.

Thank for this! About to use the links to purchase this setup! I’ve been saving and planning to take my channel and podcast to the next level. This is right on time! Thank you
I have almost half these items but certainly not all of them. That rolling stand is a good idea. I have lantern and quick release and cage which are all good ideas. Thanks for a great informative video.
Like this idea. I’m literally setting up to film for my other channel. I’m pulling out all of my lights with those tripods. My Sony ZV e10 and the tripod and teleprompter for that. I’m going to consider this set up.
This is a really cool setup! I use three lights, camera tripod, and a 2nd tripod for my monitor and it takes a while to setup. Plus, I am in a small room so I am very cramped after full setup.
Brotha!!!! Thank you! This has been the BEST breakdown video to date! I film Lifestyle/Podcast shows in studio and on location and having to lug lights gets a little messy! This is literally a potable as it gets..
I like this bc when I had a set up that allowed me to just turn on and record, I created every single day. When putting it together and breaking down everyday comes into play,,,my productivity goes down 80% haha
This was exactly what I needed! Thanks for breaking it down Omar - gives me a great idea of what I can use to tweak my setup and have a quick, mobile solution. I appreciate all the work you put into these guides! 🙌 Any suggestions on how to modify this setup with a broadcast mic instead of the rode wireless? I've been testing between the wireless go and procaster recently and definitely notice a difference, would love to try this in different areas easily.
This is what I’ve been looking for! Thank you. Some of the items are no longer available. What is another light dome you recommend? Also what is the link to the cell phone attachment?
Great setup! Thank you! I have a GVM light and this tripod will be so much nice work work better then the one the light came with. I did find the same tripod for a bit less.
Great video. Does the rubber grip on the light stand (on the bottom section pole) removable by sliding it down and out of the center column? Or is the grip stuck onto the steel column? Thank you!
I’m adding all these to my Amazon wish list! I’ve been wanting to ramp up my lighting for a long time. Are there any other soft box heads you can recommend that may be a bit smaller than the one shown as I’m limited for room
Do you have a cage on the side to place the the Sony ZVE-10 vertically? I'm not familiar with that model, but I'm very interested in this clever solution.

i gave you 1 million dollar you gave me my youtube back

Thank you so much for making these videos! Can you make one that connects this very setup with Camtasia?
