What exactly does a lifted diff change? I'm sorry if he said that in the video, if he did I didn't understand.
So the diff sits higher and then what?
To get better road clearence. It was rubbing on the road before
@@DannyColdhill this + better angle for the driveshafts and other components when the car is lowered
@@DannyColdhill Aaaah, okay thanks.
@@mgcharoudin Ah yes, the angle is what I would've guessed. Great insight into track prepping cars here, love these Videos!
@@mgcharoudin how much lowering? I thought Jrz goes for full coilover conversion in the rear like nitron
The transition with basically no change in George's position except for the gloves. Wow.
It really is great to see how much Apex does to maintain their fleet of cars. Maintaining a couple of cars at home for general use is one thing, but constantly dialling in those cars that must take a serious beating out on the Ring, is a whole different matter. Amazing work, and looking forward to seeing what 2021 brings....specially the Yaris upgrades!
an upload on christmas day, thanks as there is nothing on UK television.
Hope your having a great day and having a laugh with friends and loved ones
This channel is really growing on me ♥️ nice videos Misha
Love how everything is torque witness marked, proper mechanics 👌🏻
The Team Schirmer kinematics look fire and i am sure they perform the part. It must drive like a different car with the refresh. Looking forward to see the splitter on the car. It will complete the look.
George my man, I'm looking forward to that new channel of yours. Merry Xmas fellas =)
George is great mechanic to keep these cars going.
Servicing the calipers with a complete strip, clean and new seals is always a good idea, corrosion and dirt can start behind the seals and push on the pistons binding them and causing excessive brake pad heat and wear. Also the piston seals can start to harden from the heat. I do it every 2 years on my performance cars and it makes a big difference
Hello Comrade... Thumbs Up to George @ Co. for a superb re-fresh job on the M4.
Merry Christmas to you and your FAMILY.🙏🙏🙏🙏
WOW it's expensive to maintain your cars.
it takes a lot to make that money back
Thanks for shotwing that part of The business 👍
Just letting the video run for streamcount. Can’t watch right now. Will watch again later. Wintercontent is going great Misha, thanks man, appreciate it.
Apparently I'm visiting next year and I've been told that my wife will be booking the M4 for my first lap of the ring. Looking forward to experiencing Twisted Symmetry's handiwork. Happy Christmas and looking forward to seeing you in the New Year.
Have enjoyed your content for the last couple of years . Always interesting. Have a good Christmas break.
Great work here George & team!
Merry Christmas !
Merry Christmas Misha and George 🎄
Love these tech videos showing the components and how they work! very interesting stuff! thank you
Love this stuff! And the crank shaft 🤣 people in the US love to hyper modify for sound and little productive performance 🤙✌️
Nice, George and Misha.
Crank hub is a real issue on tuned cars. Yours is stock so nothing to worry.
You mean big power cars and driving like a maniac...sure.
So good! Thank you for the fantastic videos! Merry Christmas!
Great vid as always Misha 👌🏻🎄
Would be interesting to see the garage equipment George uses to maintain these cars, such as do you have a press for doing bushes, and any other machine tools or is it basic hand tools and which are the most useful.
Says in video, they go to schirmer for press
Good video
Good Christmas
Good comment
///Merry Christmas Apex!
Great video misha
Happy Christmas to you and the team at apex
Cool to see how you keeping i good condition your cars. Merry Christmas to Apex
Curious how the m4 would perform with the new mods btw hope ur enjoying the holidays misha!🤙
Cue comments about needing more power. 🤣
Loving these maintenance videos
Aaaaaaand you forgot to put the links for videos again 🎄🥃 Cheers Misha and have a nice holidays
Superb viewing. 👊
Merry Christmas comrade!
I love these kinds of video's!
Hello top work !! Looks a good kit 👍
Merry Christmas
Love an episode on Xmas day bro
Just had my share of the crankhub, 2019 M2C, bone stock, less then 12.000km, luckily engine not wrecked, went for an upgrade so warranty void now. Previous car F80M3, tuned 530hp 100.000km, nothing. You ask me :)
Great video that, thank you.
Nice to see the new suspension and the cleaned up rear subframe etc 👌
Have you raised the ride height also to prevent scraping ?
You should try “dasty” it realy works on my motorcicles And car. Good to get of grease And brake dust. Spray it. Let it work for a minut or 2. Take a brush. And then hose it of👍🏻 real good stuff
George's new channel could be called tested symmetry
Why does bmw only use one diff mount? Is there any downsides to upgrading to use both mount points?
Amazing handling tightening modifications. Regarding the exhaust hanging to low, couldn't you just install a protective plate? And change the plate every 2-3 rides? If the original plan doesn't work out for you
merry christmas
Would love to see some wrenching footage!!

Hi Misha..Hi George..
Oh Yay happy days, the "nuts & bolts" of Car maintenance....
NOT ! heh heh heh 😁
Seriously tho aBiG Thumbs Up to George becos mates like him are truly worth their weight in Gold!
👍👍😎👍👍
The M4 will drive & handle like a dream when it's all done & dusted. LOVE the content & LOVE Ya Work brothers💕
Godbless u both🙂.hava great Xmas & New Year celebration
Nice hair cut 👌🏻
It‘s so interesting to see things you do in the company! Is there any possible chance to work for you?
If the exhaust catches in its new position, would the easiest solution not be slightly extended hangers (by the same amount as the diff has been raised), to drop it back down into its original position? Or are you worried it might hit the floor like the diff was doing before?
Forgive my ignorance, what is gained by raising the diff mount? To correct axle angle from lowering the car?
This and avoid scratching
Nice
Basically a team apex mc82
Did the JRZ suspension last an entire season? I’ve got Nitron suspension and it was due for a rebuild after 11 track days and about 15,000 km. I’m looking for something that performs but will also last a little longer.
Winter is coming
@misha charoudin de groeten en vrolijk kerstfeest uit Helmond
Nice haircut Misha 😂
Rod bearings issue on the s65, no s55 on e46. Huh? 😐
If you’re stock on a e92, do the rod bearings, there are thousands of posts on this issue.
If you have an F80 with any sort of tune, do the crank hub from maximum PSI, cheap insurance on a nice car.
Do you have a brand or part number for the rear outer uniball you upgraded? It's were the rear camber adjustment is.
I'm gonna be dropping my subframe because my diff bushings have gone bad so I wanted to upgrade everything and that outer uniball/bushing is the only thing I need left to purchase. Thanks and great video!
www.teamschirmerparts.com/ should be an easy find
3:20 this ‘Uniball’ bushing in the front tension strut- are these OEM bushing with Uniball from factory ?!
...or did you change the bushing from OEM to Uniball ?
Changed
@@mgcharoudin thanks 👍
Was interested as it’s a common / popular mod for M140/240i (or F20/21 in general) drivers to put the M3/4 Front arms into the F20/21/22 chassis to get ca -1 degree mir negative camber
As these OEM M4 bushes are already stiffer as OEM M140/240 bushings i was asking myself if the OEM M4 are maybe already stiff enough
It’s easy to say that there is no crankhub issue, when you guys have Robert who has the money to put a whole now engine in the car, when this issue happens. For everybody else who want to have fun with their M2 Competitions, M3 and M4 in the long run, it’s clear that this problem must be fixed, especially when HP and Torque are not stock.
Riiiight. The engine was replaced because it was toast due to no oil cause by the oil cooler being ripped off.
@@mgcharoudin Yes I understood that, you told it in the video already that the engine in the car was replaced once because of a collision. But I mean in general. It's like this covid situation. No matter how hard people wish the issue doesn't exist, it is still there. Facts are facts regarding the crank hub BMW construction fail or covid.
@@tj6331 odd comparison.
@@nukeourplanet haha maybe he means its a hoax overblown by shops that want the 20hr labor. Only time its "clear" is E-85+ or abuse
The brakes from the 218 and M cars aren’t interchangeable. Same calliper but different mounting points. Just to save you wasting your time finding out 👍🏽
We run the same brake kit on all the cars, there is nothing finding out, but thanks for your concern 👍🏻
oem rear sway bar, interesting
what "Team Schirmer secrets" can you possibly be showing there? its just a length adjustable arm with heim joints. there are thousands of other brands out there that make the exact same thing. There are even better ones out there (mostly in the locking mechanism). This is not a rhetorical question. Someone explain to me what's so magic about a Schrimer arm vs another adjustable arm with heim ends?
Is this diff kit made by KMP?
What do you and George think about the Rigid Collar kit that make sure the subframe bolt doesnt move around -- Have you guys ever though of installing it?
Link?

Video here should describe how it works: ruclips.net/video/zWyUD6UXfog/видео.html
I believe it works brilliantly for japanese cars and FWD cars like the Golf/Cupra/etc... But Im not sure whether BMWs really need it or not; would be interesting to see whether it makes a difference or not... Because the change it made on my mk6 golf gti is night and day...
My M4 rubbed in the same spot if I was going over bumps too fast but AMT Motorsport fixed it. I’m happy now.
pleeeease, wich rotors do you use??????
why are the exhaust pipes not powder coated or Ceramic coated?
never mind.
I would love to see Ricky from LLF have an instruction lap with you in his 700bhp hellcat or 1000bhp M5. That would be absolutely hilarious, preferably when the track was wet! Even better then your Fabian off road episode! 🤣😂
Misha what happens to all those worn out parts? Trash 🗑️ or recycle ♻️?
Trash mostly
Ik heb wat YT in te halen na een week TOP 2000 kijken als jaar afsluiting. De M4 is dus weer klaar om te knallen in het komende seizoen.
Maybe Robert Kubica can do the testing.......😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I can’t seem to find any schirmer parts. Where can I find it.
Their webshop is launching in a few weeks.
I love how we in America worry so much about the crank hub and you guys are just laughing it off lmaoooooo but a lot of people here are running 600WHP+ on E85
I really love this car and it's setup. It's so unimaginably fast! It was really a blast last Easter Sunday morning: ruclips.net/video/SKH00LxO90M/видео.html

@@mgcharoudin thx ;)
7th wow
Rule 1, make sure you overwork your mechanic to the point he can't think
Time to put plastic chairs coz : *weight reduction brooo*
The fact anyone believed team schirmer was doing something more special than anyone else...That's funny and sad.
I wish all the people from America who watch this would understand that this guy spends more money on suspension then probably anything else and brakes anyone can make a car fast but can you make it handle
