It really is great to see how much Apex does to maintain their fleet of cars. Maintaining a couple of cars at home for general use is one thing, but constantly dialling in those cars that must take a serious beating out on the Ring, is a whole different matter. Amazing work, and looking forward to seeing what 2021 brings....specially the Yaris upgrades!
The Team Schirmer kinematics look fire and i am sure they perform the part. It must drive like a different car with the refresh. Looking forward to see the splitter on the car. It will complete the look.
Servicing the calipers with a complete strip, clean and new seals is always a good idea, corrosion and dirt can start behind the seals and push on the pistons binding them and causing excessive brake pad heat and wear. Also the piston seals can start to harden from the heat. I do it every 2 years on my performance cars and it makes a big difference
Would be interesting to see the garage equipment George uses to maintain these cars, such as do you have a press for doing bushes, and any other machine tools or is it basic hand tools and which are the most useful.
Just letting the video run for streamcount. Can’t watch right now. Will watch again later. Wintercontent is going great Misha, thanks man, appreciate it.
Apparently I'm visiting next year and I've been told that my wife will be booking the M4 for my first lap of the ring. Looking forward to experiencing Twisted Symmetry's handiwork. Happy Christmas and looking forward to seeing you in the New Year.
3:20 this ‘Uniball’ bushing in the front tension strut- are these OEM bushing with Uniball from factory ?! ...or did you change the bushing from OEM to Uniball ?
@@mgcharoudin thanks 👍 Was interested as it’s a common / popular mod for M140/240i (or F20/21 in general) drivers to put the M3/4 Front arms into the F20/21/22 chassis to get ca -1 degree mir negative camber As these OEM M4 bushes are already stiffer as OEM M140/240 bushings i was asking myself if the OEM M4 are maybe already stiff enough
Just had my share of the crankhub, 2019 M2C, bone stock, less then 12.000km, luckily engine not wrecked, went for an upgrade so warranty void now. Previous car F80M3, tuned 530hp 100.000km, nothing. You ask me :)
Amazing handling tightening modifications. Regarding the exhaust hanging to low, couldn't you just install a protective plate? And change the plate every 2-3 rides? If the original plan doesn't work out for you
You should try “dasty” it realy works on my motorcicles And car. Good to get of grease And brake dust. Spray it. Let it work for a minut or 2. Take a brush. And then hose it of👍🏻 real good stuff
If the exhaust catches in its new position, would the easiest solution not be slightly extended hangers (by the same amount as the diff has been raised), to drop it back down into its original position? Or are you worried it might hit the floor like the diff was doing before?
Do you have a brand or part number for the rear outer uniball you upgraded? It's were the rear camber adjustment is. I'm gonna be dropping my subframe because my diff bushings have gone bad so I wanted to upgrade everything and that outer uniball/bushing is the only thing I need left to purchase. Thanks and great video!
Did the JRZ suspension last an entire season? I’ve got Nitron suspension and it was due for a rebuild after 11 track days and about 15,000 km. I’m looking for something that performs but will also last a little longer.
What do you and George think about the Rigid Collar kit that make sure the subframe bolt doesnt move around -- Have you guys ever though of installing it?
@@mgcharoudin www.rigidcollar.eu/ Video here should describe how it works: ruclips.net/video/zWyUD6UXfog/видео.html I believe it works brilliantly for japanese cars and FWD cars like the Golf/Cupra/etc... It’s easy to say that there is no crankhub issue, when you guys have Robert who has the money to put a whole now engine in the car, when this issue happens. For everybody else who want to have fun with their M2 Competitions, M3 and M4 in the long run, it’s clear that this problem must be fixed, especially when HP and Torque are not stock.
@@mgcharoudin Yes I understood that, you told it in the video already that the engine in the car was replaced once because of a collision. But I mean in general. It's like this covid situation. No matter how hard people wish the issue doesn't exist, it is still there. Facts are facts regarding the crank hub BMW construction fail or covid.
what "Team Schirmer secrets" can you possibly be showing there? its just a length adjustable arm with heim joints. there are thousands of other brands out there that make the exact same thing. There are even better ones out there (mostly in the locking mechanism). This is not a rhetorical question. Someone explain to me what's so magic about a Schrimer arm vs another adjustable arm with heim ends?
Rod bearings issue on the s65, no s55 on e46. Huh? 😐 If you’re stock on a e92, do the rod bearings, there are thousands of posts on this issue. If you have an F80 with any sort of tune, do the crank hub from maximum PSI, cheap insurance on a nice car.
The brakes from the 218 and M cars aren’t interchangeable. Same calliper but different mounting points. Just to save you wasting your time finding out 👍🏽
I would love to see Ricky from LLF have an instruction lap with you in his 700bhp hellcat or 1000bhp M5. That would be absolutely hilarious, preferably when the track was wet! Even better then your Fabian off road episode! 🤣😂
I love how we in America worry so much about the crank hub and you guys are just laughing it off lmaoooooo but a lot of people here are running 600WHP+ on E85

What exactly does a lifted diff change? I'm sorry if he said that in the video, if he did I didn't understand.
So the diff sits higher and then what?
To get better road clearence. It was rubbing on the road before
@@DannyColdhill this + better angle for the driveshafts and other components when the car is lowered
@@DannyColdhill Aaaah, okay thanks.
@@mgcharoudin Ah yes, the angle is what I would've guessed. Great insight into track prepping cars here, love these Videos!
