Always nice to see a professional showing how to do a decent job 👍
thank you 👍
Clever sod! Something different and explained really well. One thing, I bet he needs to get an adjustable cheek piece now as it raises the height quite a bit. I'm in the like it camp 🙂
Thanks Tim yes does make it a little high 😀
Looks amazing. Great work once again. 👍
thanks mate😀 and its on a leak free r10 👍
Top stuff Jake, I wondered how dovetails were machined!
I like the look of the rail on the R10.
thanks Dave 👍
Absolutely loved watching you do your thing ,it's fascinating and educational, many thanks for all the videos, that must take a considerable amount of your time .
Glad you enjoyed it thanks for watching
Love watching your videos
thank you 👍
Ohhhh sweet fellas. This is brilliant, very innovative 😁
Glad you like it thanks mate
Great work as usual Jake wonderfully explained.
thanks mate
Nice work on a nice rifle, well done.
thanks for watching 👍
really enjoy the metal work... awesome content as usual ...
Thank you! Cheers!
Yea. I do remember when first time hearing of the BSA's 13mm dovetail and then start wondering how that may limit stuff.. Well, here's the good answer to a possible problem for something like this.. 👍🏻👍🏻
thanks for watching 👍
Like that. Looks good. Very tidy as usual
thanks mate 😀
I simply fitted an Eaglevision Cam 13mm to 22mm adapter rail to my Ultras. No worries, works a treat.
yes he wanted the extra hight so we did this
Exceptional thank you for this video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great work Nice !!!
Thanks a lot!
Awesome video awesome job looks very cool 😎 The Machinist 💯
thank you 👍
Compliments the rifle quite nicely. You showed a good clear process to get your results and as usual it came out very well. Tilly's Gunstocks pointed me towards Eaglevision adapters, so picked one of those up for my R10, although with the extra height, I can't get as comfy now. I wonder if BSA will ever change from their beloved 13mm?
lets hope so 😀 thanks for watching 👍
great job mate . never understood why bsa use that size bit of a pain in the rear for mounts . very similar proses to what you did to the red wolf and that i really like . like pic rail myself . find if swapping out scopes is your thing it seems for me to make it a very easy job with only a few clicks needed to get your scope on par
yes me too, pic is just so much easer cant work out why they didn't go pic with the R12🙄 thanks for watching 👍
All u tuber doing good work
But u guy explain well
thank you
Very nice!
Bottle not parallel with shroud though...
I hate that when I see it on any airgun. :-)
most r10's with the long bottle are like it, it is annoying
@@sub12airgunners I didn't know that. Anyway, excellent work on the rail, as usual.
Nice!
thanks for watching 👍
nice one
Thanks
Hi, would it be possible to show how you made the lightened hammer for the r10 mk2. Love your videos
Good morning, nice sweet potato, there are rails that come with 20 moas to shoot further. Is it possible to correct them because depending on which scopes it is a problem to shoot below 50m, leave them at 10 moas or whatever you want?
Thank you
that would be a tricky one you would need to machine off the one that's there and start again
Thank you, I have rti prophet that after the stumbles with the valve at the beginning because it is one of the first that came out now it is going very well in the end they managed to get it right thanks, to which I go the rail of the rti prophet 2 it seems possible to vary the incination, in The 3 comes with a variable rail between 20 and 150 moas and why not from 0 to 150 moas?@@sub12airgunners
Do u do this as a service if I send you the part?
no sorry we don't do it as a service
Not sure I see limitations to the 13mm dovetail. There are plenty of after market adapters if you want to go weaver mount. I personally like to keep my scope as close to the barrel as possible, providing I get good line of sight. A mount on a mount to take a mount makes no sense at all.
Hi there , this is for me , I wanted Picatinny , I also wanted 20moa , I’ll also be using a 50mm OBJ , in my experience X-High MOA Adjustable 13mm mounts are few and far between in any decent quality . Once fitted this riser will simply be an extension of the receiver and of course having Geoff & Jakes hands on it means it’ll be perfect , all of my Steyr rifles have this set up as standard out of the box , and I had this Steyr 20moa rail sitting spare :) hope that helps make sense of it for you 👍🏼
Looks amazing ,as u said gives you options ,a lot of rifles are using this type of raised /pica-tinny mount ,i have one on my mk 1 FX Crown ,love it ,gives me the option to fit low mounts .in my opinion it’s the way to go 👍
It looks decent on there mate. Maybe one day BSA will go picatinny ..it's only been around 100 odd years 😂
That extra height will tighten up the aim points nicely at range too @@no1jimmypie248
