More like acquaintances for 10+years always claiming everyone out to get her and like you said don’t ever question her or go against her she will make your life hell up to and including hexes, black magic, having others follow you, her in others vehicles following you, her access to those in law enforcement. You get the idea.

What ultimately lost the case for heard was the audio recording of Heard saying she didn't punch him, she hit him because he was trying to avoid an argument...like he always did.

I had a ex just like Amber. It was like everyone else in the world was wrong but her. No matter what she did. She actually hit me and start crying because I caught her cheating and told her to leave my home. Her cheating didn't matter, but me not wanting to continue being in a relationship broke her heart and made me "emotionally abusive". Go figure.

Anyone who has been with a narcissist knows what reactive abuse is. These evil people push you to your limits and when you react they label you as the abuser... JD i feel you... I've been there done that.
Been there too and she's a classic textbook case of what a narcissist looks and acts like. They literally make you feel like you're going crazy, and you're right, if you try to stick up for yourself or finally crack and push back, your crazy and you're the abuser. She's a sick woman and he's a sad, damaged man. Its a real tragedy and goes to show that claims women make against men need to be vetted more closely and not all should be taken at face value. I like when he said something like - "ya at 50 I suddenly decided to be a wife beater" even the use of those words suggests that he is not, otherwise he'd have used more subtle words to describe what he's been accused of. I have PTSD and just now can walk into a room and not automatically put my head down and look at my feet. He didn't allow me to have a job, go out with friends or anything. I could never act the way amber is acting, she doesn't know what truly being scared of someone is. I still have nightmares where I'm still trying to get away. So much abuse I can't recall the first time because it just happened so often, I can remember the bigger fights but definitely can't recall all of them, and I sure as hell don't remember if the carpet was dirty or not.

I’m in a relationship with a man who was systematically abused for 12 years. I was in a short traumatic relationship that ended after 5 months after the man I was seeing kicked the shit out of me. I can tell you that being in a relationship with a narcissist will bring out the worst in anyone. She was manipulative and looked for any opportunity to set him up and record him coming unglued. When you are a victim of abuse the last thing you’re going to do is provoke the abuser. She is not afraid of him and it’s so obvious. When you know, you know. Is he perfect? No. The difference is between them is she deliberately did things out of jealousy and spite. He did thing out of the sheer frustration of dealing with her exaggerated dramatic behaviour. There’s no help for someone like Amber because she believes she’s entitled to her behaviour where Johnny is humble and can and has owned up to his shortcomings.

This right here! It's a manipulative tactic. My mom was in an emotionally abusive relationship for years. When she finally left him HE filed for divorce hoping it would scare her back to him. Amber did the same thing by filing the restraining order AND filing for divorce first. It's all about control.
Also, she filed the restraining order when she knew he would be away, out of the country, for months, rendering it an unnecessary measure for her safety. She also contacted the press so that they could take a photo of a bruise on her face outside of the courthouse. The last time she saw Depp was six days before her appearance at the courthouse and according to witnesses she had not had a bruise during that week. Notice also that the bruises are always on the right hand side of her face. Jonny is right handed, if he hit her in a drunken, drug fueled rage as accused, the bruises would be on the left hand side of her face. Amber is also right handed, the bruises on the right hand side of her face are easily acquired by her hitting herself.
I was very annoyed about this trial until I started to watch it.

After all the many years of very serious abuse that a 'victim' such as amber claims happened to her-she would be beaten down on every level to an almost unrecognizable form of her self. A true victim really wants to leave and tries to many times and because of lack of support and fear goes back at least 5 times. Amber would have had incredible support and never 'left' until years later. She would have had incredible support if she was really being abused. One more thing: no victim would engage in verbal arguments and spew ugly insults at her abuser. This would most certainly invite death .
Her testimony is all wrong for an actual victim. That's my observation of being a support to many women and helping them finally get in to a women 's shelter.

Before I escaped my abusive home, I used to verbally take on my tyrannical grandfather who mentally, physically, and sexually abused us. Knight always gave him lip and a piece of her mind. Talking back does NOT make us any less of domestic abuse victims. However, I certainly wouldn't be speaking fondly of falling in love with JD the way that AH does and I def wouldn't be talking about stupid details like my breath on a window or how dirty the rug is 🙄
Heard is clearly a liar, but you don't need to use the "spewed insults" as proof that she's not a victim. Victims come in various forms. Some of us are unwilling to anger our abusers, while some of us know that arguing is the only thing we have left to stand up against our attackers - we use our mouths when our fists are too weak to fight back. It's not about logic, it's about power dynamics and being sick of being a doormat. This was especially the case when my mouth distracted him from assaulting my sisters and brother. So yeah I hurled insults and spat venom, but I also took punches, kicks, bites, etc.

You missed the testimony from the CEO with the 40 years of experience saying the abuse photos Amber presented to the court had been modified and did not come from her phone but her Personal Computer which has photo editing software. Furthermore the pics she claimed were from two makeup lighting were perfectly identical. Meaning she did modify the saturation and colors and the meta data was something that can be modified. However there was info on the photos presented in court to show these were modified photos of the original. Amber destroyed or claims to have destroyed the originals when she claimed to have tossed her phones.

As luck would have it, Ms Heard is not a top notch actor. She contorts her face to express “emotion” and appears to be able to summon tears at will but experts at interpreting body language are having a field day watching her give her testimony. What I found most telling about her physicality is the emotional disconnect between what she was saying, the cliched expression of “grief” on her face and the coldly calculating expression in her eyes as she scanned her “audience” to see how they were reacting to her performance.
I believe all narcissist abuser should suffer the same fate for what they do to their partners regardless their sex or gender. Period. Amber should pay for what she did.

It got me that she never cried actual tears throughout the whole trial. Not once. Not even when talking about all the horrible things that he did to her... apparently. She's a liar and a nasty, vile person. You only have to listen to that recording of her belittling and laughing at Johnny to see that. I hope she gets what's coming to her.
Amber's nasty vile recording of her laughing at Johnny is the "true moment" she lost the case to the jury, in my opinion. None of these other instances had the impact this one did. Listening to that evil woman's voice berating Johnny, I didn't need any other evidence. She's a demon.
The only time she got remotely close to crying was when they were reading the bad things said about her, which were grounded in reality unlike the majority of her claims.

Later she wanted that 8 million written out to her instead of her creditors and she never donated the 7 million she bragged to the judge she would do.

I recently won custody of my son from my narcissistic ex and it was so hard, I felt so powerless and like I was always the bad guy but I listened to a podcast that said the best way to beat a narcissist in court is to just bring the facts and don’t attack them and they will show their true colors naturally and tell on themselves. She told the judge I didn’t even know how to change a diaper and she only wanted me to see my son for an hour on Sundays and he looked at her like she was crazy and granted me 4 hours every day except Sunday and now we exchange them every other week. It’s so good to see Johnny overcome this and see her show her true colors to everyone too. As a man, it’s such a frustrating feeling being abused because you feel like you’re just being a punk and no one would believe you, and you have to fight through believing what they project into you and what the actual truth is. This is also so terrible for the women who have actually been victims of domestic violence and set their whole movement back for something so petty. God bless anyone dealing with dv and partner abuse

She's had a lot of cosmetic work done. Lorry Hill has a pretty recent video of all the procedures she believes she's had, and given the drastic changes, I'm in agreement with her. Most obvious are those cheek implants you can see through her skin, and it looks like she's had a lot of filler. I think the bloated look of her face is probably just from some weight gain on top of her chin and jaw implants.
There's also talk of how the pics of her bruising under the eyes appears to be from getting Botox. She's altered just about every part of her face.

Your assumption that none of us have been around addicts or alcoholics is just that, an assumption. I am raising 2 grandchildren because of it. An addict does not equal an abuser or a bad person. Maybe your experience is different from mine so I can't beat you up for that. The FACTS of this case say that the person who was portrayed as the sober one is the actual PHYSICAL abuser. They were both verbal and mental abusers but that's not what the case is about. AH has serious mental illness and living with someone like that can be just as much of a living hell as living with any substance abuser and that's a fact.
@@mccauley2023 no not going to beat you up. Alcohol brings out the hidden characteristics of an individual, people are different and so are affected differently. I can say I often witnessed a family member who drank very heavily, never becoming violent, they'd be more distraught and clingy more than anything reliving the abuse they'd experienced and sharing horrible details that stick in your mind, but I do agree with the not remembering part, because they'd rarely remember what they shared during their intoxicated time. It was embarrassing for me so can't even imagine how they felt.
They're over it now, well, I believe they've learned how to deal with the trauma, because I personally know abuse doesn't disappear out of your mind just like that. It takes time to develop coping mechanisms like trusting again and not being afraid of living a relatively stable life, but it does take time (for me it took decades) and intense therapy as well as.
Some things Amber has said it's obvious she's faking, like crying for example, I know some people have a hard time showing emotions. But there are times that (example: being verbally or physically hurt by your spouse) would cause some panic and tears with how bad she's claiming it to be.
AH, soon never to be "heard" of again. ...not soon enough.
