Ho avuto l'onore, oltre che una smisurata botta di culo, di incontrarlo. Udine, 2001,concerto di Bob Dylan che però viene annullato causa un tremendo temporale che si era scatenato poco prima dell'inizio. Sconsolati ci mettiamo in coda per uscire dalla città. Prendiamo l'autostrada e ci fermiamo al primo autogrill. E chi incontriamo????? Il mitico Bob. Lo abbracciai, tanto che dovettero intervenire i due bodyguard per staccarmi, altrimenti ci sarei ancora attaccato. A pensarci mi vengono ancora i brividi : il mitico Bob Dylan, il più grande di tutti i tempi. I suoi bodyguard ci impedirono di fare foto, chiedemmo al Re se voleva bere qualcosa e lui rispose :"Wodka". Ma i bodyguard vietarono anche questo. Poi fece un giro nel reparto "market", compro' un paio di ciabatte, salirono sul pullman e partirono. E io non ho dormito per un bel po' di notti. Avevo abbracciato il mio idolo. Mai l'avrei creduto possibile. Ascolto le sue canzoni da più di 40 anni e ad ogni ascolto mi trasmettono emozioni nuove. Grazie Bob

my older brother put the album with this song on his stereo (Pat Garret and Billy the Kid) after a day at the zoo and I asked him who is this? Bob Dylan ! the fiest time I heard it in 73....what a beautiful album..and version...it is a Heavenly song...bravo Bob...from a big big fan
Bob Dylans voice is NoW the greatest it's ever been. He's got the voice he needs he's got a fantastic voice and it's taken a live time to get it. The voice is now at last worn with use and perfect he's broken-in like a great guitar. Don't be stupid, appreciate this because now is his golden time.
Dylan's voice IS EXCATLY WHAT IT SHOULD BE! The honest vehicle he gets his messages with!!! Since the first time I listened to him singin (Mr. Tambourine Man was the first song I heard), it struck me the fact that he sounds really honest. One can notice that he's feeling what he sings as he sings it!!! That is something very rare!!! There are singers with privileged voices who don't have the gift to make people feel what the song is supposed to make people feel. Dylan makes it EVERY FUCKIN' TIME

On his first record, he's a kid TRYING to sound older. Now he's got it his voice is great. The same thing was said of Billie Holiday, amidst negative talk about drugs and such people said she'd lost her voice. NOW those records are understood by most to be her best. This guy simply isn't a good singer, in my opinion. You can barely understand a single word that he's saying and it sounds like his throat is being scraped every time he tries to sing a note. He's a good song writer but in my opinion his singing is subpar.
