Thanks Marzz! We're finishing what you started over a decade ago! The RS5 now has a bit a of a cult following, and JHM has helped really unlock the true raw power from this engine. Such a joy to drive!
Hey, kind of off-topic, but do you know a good way to get the small bit of plastic out of the right-side tube on the coolant expansion tank? The quick connector on there broke on mine and left a small piece of plastic tube in the hole
@@PantherBlackAudiRS no worries, i happened to find the exact replacement part on Alibaba, after checking everywhere including Audi. Looks like a simple enough fix.
Really like the refined exhaust note on your car! Have you heard resonated capristo irl and how does it compare to full JHM system in terms of sound and volume? Thanks :)
the resonated capristo will sound more like the JHM since JHM retains resonators and doesn't offer a non-resonated section. If you want something obnoxious, you get the non-resonated exhausts. Then again, you can always have a shop remove the resonators and replace with straight pipes for a deeper sound or an x pipe for a more exotic sound.
Thanks! This was with valves closed right after the initial start. I’d say Capristo is a little louder than JHM’s catback, but I have headers so this is louder for sure. 103DB on cold start so not too rough.
I have both the non resonated and resonated Capristo. The cold starts on the non resonated were too loud for me. Plus hwy noise as valves automatically open at 85mph plus can be annoying. But at WOT it sounds amazing. The downshifts are massively loud. I currently run the resonated Capristo as i outgrew the loud exhaust. Resonated has a great cold start compared to the bomb going off on the non resonated version.
Love the cold starts, So I just learned from the manual you should start driving while in cold start and not allow it to idle down before driving this will train the ECU on better idle and responsiveness at lower RPM, I actually thought the opposite. Just ordered my JHM Stage 2 and DSG tunes because of your reviews
Nice vids mate, keep them coming, always loved this car and still do after 10 years, it makes me want to buy it again for fun ...

These cold starts never get old! Always puts a smile on my face 😈👍🤙💯
Watch out for carbon monoxide when letting the car running in a closed garage
Absolutely, opened the door right after!

Hmmm, I haven’t had any experience with that, sorry.

Awesome, you're going to LOVE IT!!
Are you really sure about that? I don't know😅
Seems to pop when I drive my car while still cold. Like it’s already farting and being loud and I hit the gas and makes loud pops sounds nice
