I agree with you I can’t believe she only paid $120 for the dress. I’m thinking the crocheter only charged her that much because she was a fan and by Taylor wearing it she gets recognition from Taylor wearing what she made. That would possibly bring her business especially possibly from other famous people.
I dunno just guessing why she didn’t charge her what she should have charged.
I have noticed there are quite a few other RUclipsrs making the dress as well, but there is one who is doing it in different colors.

It never ceases to amaze me when I see people re create creations just from visualising-this truly is an art form. I am a beginner, learning to crochet through RUclips. I have recently seen this crochet tunic flood you tube and straight away I wanted to attempt making this-not because it is a “Taylor Swift” outfit but simply something I do usually wear. however I cannot see which stitches you are using and I am not sure how you are beginning or ending each row? Even when I slow down the play back speed you are quite fast. I think I may need to keep looking to see if can follow one of the other creators-thank you for sharing your amazing skills.

If your seat belt is hitting too high on your neck, there is a way to adjust it. Look at the part where the seat belt is attached to the side of your car and there are buttons that you can push in to make it slide up or down.

I’m also 5’1” and even at lowest setting point for seatbelt it is to high. I have to use the adjuster things she’s talking about also. It’s the life of a short girl. 🫤

I’m still too short with the slider all the way down. 5’1” they should make adult booster seats and more petal adjusters I swear I was born to be a passenger princess 😂😂😂

Hi Sarah! Love that You've made this dress-You're so talented! Just an FYI- the plastic piece that your seat belt is going through on the side of the van, should have a button to push which allows the plastic piece to slide down so that the belt will fit Us shorter people without choking us to death!😊

I too am short and even with the height adjuster in the lowest position, the seatbelt cuts my neck. I got a seatbelt extender from the dealer and made it better
That was my problem too. The only thing that helped was the Velcro pieces for children 😂

The yarn that you are using is it 6ply or 8ply and 100% cotton or cotton + acrylic blend?
4 ply acrylic. I should have used cotton it was hot

Silly question: I made a granny square cardigan and it got somewhat heavy. Is that dress not really heavy??
It is fairly heavy
All handmade knit or crochet clothing in worsted yarn will get heavy but when you’re wearing it your shoulder distribute the weight and you don’t notice. 😊

I'm in Jackson, MS and I just sub. The seam tappers so she's not wearing a tent. It's fitted. Three rows of brown with white in between so 5 all tog. @22:32 that was me the other day with a "wrong done" afghan. I'm just starting over cause then I realized I was using the wrong color in between the others. I was half done with it before. AAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you on it not a done in day dress. If they are really selling it for a 100 dollars. I could only think they had multiple people making each panel if it. That could also explain why the color pattern didn't end and start on the same. But that my opinion on.
