thank you so much everyone for the love on this video, as someone just starting out it's so encouraging 🩵🩵 I've gotten a lot of question on the first blanket that I made, so I thought I'd pin a comment with some info!! ---->
I used 6 skeins of bernat blanket perfect phasing yarn and an 8mm crochet hook
when I got to the end of one skein I would continue on with the same color of the next one (so I would start with the center color of the skein then start with the outside color of the next skein so the color transition was seamless)
the pattern I used is a granny rectangle, so I suggest looking up a tutorial if you're not sure where to start! here's one that helped me (and don't forget to turn your work after each round 💕): ruclips.net/video/6goxlVLxenU/видео.html

Those type of skeins are outside pulls. There is a difference between outside pulls and inside pulls. Inside pulls are like what the typical "value yarns" are like red heart, loops and threads, caron, and Joann big twist. The outside type yarns are most of the Lion brand line, and stuff like premier puzzle.

Hi!! I looked up a “rectangle granny square tutorial” on RUclips and went from there!! Granny square patterns are super easy and great for beginners (I’m a beginner too!!) I used 6 skeins of bernat blanket perfect phasing yarn and an 8mm crochet hook, and when I got to the end of one skein I would continue on with the same color of the next one (so I would start with the enter of the skein then start with the outside of the next one) also if you’re making a granny square don’t forget to turn your work over each time you start a new row so that your work lasts longer!! I hope that’s not an overwhelming amount of information lol I promise granny squares/rectangles are super easy :)

about yarn pulling - i just make a ball of yarn before i start project, so I know if there are any imperfections, i untie knots and other unworldly things that you can find in the yarn skeins 🤣 turning one skein into the ball takes me around 15 minutes and a piece of mind for the rest of the project

I think the center pull is more prone to knots. if you work w more than one skein of the same color, it’s honestly worth it to ball it up. It just makes a more pleasant experience. That said honestly do whatever you like more bc it doesn’t rly matter and the differences aren’t that big. both methods are normal for a skein (outside yarn and heart thread), and both have their own benefits. The heart's a little harder to find most of the time and tends to come out in a clump, which can make a bit of a mess if you're not careful. Like, doesn't damage your yearn but sometimes the heart comes out bigger than you'd expect.

Sometimes with amigurumi projects, you must flip it inside out.

I prefer center pull. It is not that hard to find the center pull. It doesn't bounce all around like it does when you pull from the outside. Try the book Layla by Coleen Hoover and Verity. They called Verity a modern-day Rebecca: By Daphne du Maurier. I disagree. By itself, it was really good. Rebbecca is one of my favorite novels there is a a small nuance vibe but not the same at all.

Hi, I’m so glad to have ran into your video. One book I will recommend is The House Maid by Freida McFadden. It is a gooood book to read. There is a second part to it . I need to get my hands on the second book to read. Can’t wait. Enjoy crocheting 🧶 😊

Inside or outside pull for your yarn is completely up to the user. I prefer to do an outside pull (no yarn barf). However, I have a husband with a 3D printed who prints me so many yarn related things. Several are yarn holders. I have a lazy susan type yarn holder that spins as I use the yarn. He also designed and printed a yarn holder that has a wrist attachment so you can hang your yarn from your wrist and walk or stand while knitting or doing crochet.

When authors purposefully make main characters unlikeable I just don’t get it. I need to care about the characters well being not hoping they fall off a cliff!
