I saw a TT video that talked about repetitive motion injuries. She crocheted and actually ended up with one. She highly recommended warm up exercises with resistance bands. Also taking frequent breaks to rest your wrists, elbows, and shoulders. I love the 24 he crochet challenge and I applaud you for taking breaks as needed. ❤
VERY important comment. My hands are puffy from this, I miss corcheting so bad and it's only been 3 days of not doing it T.T
I've been wanting to get this pattern for awhile and I'm glad to see it's easy to make. I think you should name him Cheddar. I love his dress! The suitcase is super cute!

I love the suitcase! One thing I want to warn you about is to keep your yarn away from your cats! If they eat it it can twist up there intestines and potentially be fatal. Not sure if you already knew that, but I want to spread awareness!
I don’t have a cat but I have a bunny that eats my yarn lol so tysm!!!

I think an androgenous name would suit them perfect! He/she/they/them, the mouse can flip his outfit at the turn of a switch! Some names to think of would be like Finn, Jamie, Blake, Casey, Drew, Jesse, Nell, Remy, Riley, Spenser, Rue, Taylor, Tyler, Sloan, Xavi, Wren, Shiloh, Kai, Sage, Billie, Aspen, River, or Raine! To be very literal on the patches, Paris or Brooklyn is always a choice! As far as cheese goes, Edam, Gouda, Formaggio, there is plenty to choose from! See what feels right

I have never seen the pattern but for the arm problem with the mouse it could just be a case of where one of you used continuous rounds while the other slip stitched and chained 1 at the end of each round. Some patterns i have done haven't clarified which one they used, and the finished item has come out wonky or needed to be modified as i worked.

Oh! A tip to help with sore hands..... learn to crochet holding the hook different ways. I have arthritis really bad and I'm learning different ways to hold the hook and it helps SO much. I can crochet for hours at a time, it would be even better if I could change how I hold the yarn but that's a whole different thing, for medical reasons. Now it only kills my elbows to crochet all day. Hahaha
I use tiger balm for my hands and I am glad that I have been enjoying this is amazing to see that people are doing crochet and the best news is that they are enjoying it as well I made sox for snowboarding and they were a successful productive time as they were sold before they were finished I used 3x of wool and they were very good selling

And for the name I would suggest Brie (pronounced like Bree), it's a French creamy cheese ^^

Using only the colors you have on your shelves is exactly what I do with my cross-stitch projects. I have soooo many, so unless I'm making a gift for someone, I just use whatever colors I personally have already

if you dont have access to an iPad (I do a lot on my laptop but it works just fine on ur phone) Transfer it to a google doc (or word or some sort of notes app) and you can highlight the steps and what part of the rows you are on. It makes stopping mid row way easier and you can keep track of where you are really easily. For shorter patterns I will write them out in a notebook where I keep a bunch of crochet info in. (I always put credit in case I need to look it up if its a free pattern or something) I use a sticky note or washi tape to mark where I left off...I draw an arrow on the sticky note to show which end is the one I am marking with because goldfish brain.
They're so unhinged, I am absolutely here 20% for the crocheting and 85% for the relatability!
