    That's really pretty :D just one advice which would probably make your work easier and faster when you make something like this (sweaters, dresses, shirts...) - don't stitch the body first and sleeves after and then connect them together because that's sometimes annoying, like working in a circle ... Try opening the body while the sides are not stitched together and put the rectangles for the sleeves where they need to go (while the sleeves are also not stitched) and just slip stitch them together in one straight line. Then just fold it to form a garment and stitch the bottom of the sleeves and the sides of the garment. I don't know how to explain it better lmao, english is not my first language. I mean..idk...I'm always faster that way so i just thought i could give an idea...and I always see people online doing it that way...

    Thanks for sharing your making process. I bought the yarn to make the dress. It's probably too hot to wear it now but will have it ready for fall. Just curious, how much yarn did you use for the project? I always love your creations.

      Yes! It’ll be beautiful for fall! I used about 2 skeins of orange. 1 of purple and less than one of both tan and brown!

    How many skeins of each color did you use? Obvs it will vary per size you make it but just as an idea 😍

    Love your podcasts! New watcher. I am definitely going to follow your instructions on the Swift dress. I am not a Swifty either but the dress is so cool!!!
    Random question has anyone ever told you that you favor a female professional wrestler name Liv Morgan? 😊❤ again love the podcast.

    This is gorgeous! Definitely going to try and replicate this. I couldn’t find any big twist named caramel, could you have meant camel for the brown color?

    I am not at all a TS fan. Do not like her music at all, it doesnt speak to me either. But the dress IS super cute. And rather than think of it as her dress, i think of it as granny's dress as it is done with a granny stitch. 😊 Even for this 66 year old granny...❤ I would choose dif colors and a lighter weight yarn, such as mandala lion brand ombre or comfy cotton, with it requiring so much yarn it would be too heavy for me with the thicker yarn. But i love this, its so cute!

    Have to watch more to learn it. I’m a visual learner. I normally crochet alongside with the tutor. I just wonder how I’m going to do this, since such a little tutorial. Not enough for beginner like me. I don’t understand patterns at all. Thank you🙏😊

    I’m not a Taylor Swift fan and don’t listen to that genre of music either. I have no plans to recreate the dress but yours turned out great. And looks good on you.

    I love your colors. I love big twist yarn anyway I might would have to have a little extra as I’m 70 years old and don’t think I can wear mini skirts anymore from the 70s.

    this dress is BEAUTIFUL!! I do have 2 quick questions, did project itself feel heavy after because of the acrylic yarn? because I made a cardigan with acrylic and it's physically heavy. also, how did you get the brand tags? I have a cricut and tried to cut out my brand but it was too small for it to cut properly

    • @BlondieKnots
      @BlondieKnots  3 месяца назад +1

      Oh thank you so much!! It was slightly heavy! But being its entire dress out of acrylic it was relatively light! I was pleased with the weight! I think the 6.5mm hook helped! And oh the tags are my favorite! Look up satin tags on Etsy and you can chose from a huge variety! I think I got 50 for $15 ❤😊 totally worth it!
