My 12 Yr old daughter and I enjoy watching your adventures. Wishing you the best-haven’t seen an update in a while. Must be nice to take it one step at a time and be able to live life and avoid all the bad news. Be safe and wishing you all the best.
I was curious if you have a link discussing how you handled school? Just curious, though you've toured the US in an unbelievable way. Thanks for sharing ...
Thank you for the prayers. As we have gotten closer to the Sierra's the service has been very bad, so we haven't been able to post. We have had enough service to update Instagram. If you aren't following that already you should because it will be more up to date. @thefieldtrip_5.
As a cattle rancher for more than 40 years, don't be afraid of cattle period. They will move out of your way. They're domestic animals, not wild. Do you ever cook a hot meal? It seems you guys just live on snack food until you reach a town to eat restaurant food. We are enjoying walking along with you guys. You're a brave, tough mom with your own troop of tough boys. We applaud you!!!!
Hi everyone, This is for Asher. What backpack were you using on the AT for most of the hike and what pack did you change to toward end of hike? What pack are you using now ? I am an adult but only 5 feet tall and using the Osprey Kids Pack 50 L. Fits better than anything else I have tried but heavy. You,your brothers, mom and dad are simply amazing. Be safe, have fun.🦋❤🙏
8:59 That is an open pit mine, in a very unfortunate location. It's hard to believe that the Forest Service is letting them get away with that, but I guess money talks.
The female friends I hike with just say "turn around, watch the trail" and drop trou on the spot. There is no time nor energy for pride or shame. After a few weeks on the trail, you've seen it all, especially when you have to pluck a tick from their butt.

That hole/scar on the distant mountain is some sort of a gravel mine. If that is a Holcomb Valley Mine they are harvesting gold, copper and quartz.
silas has asked many women hikers that same question obviously has problems
To the Girls what if you Need to pee?
