-took a trip of a lifetime down to Bolivia last week to help build a house for a couple missionaries down there who will be working with the Ese Ejja tribe.Their village consists of around 900 people with about 80% being children. While there I had the chance to learn a lot about their culture and environment and also had the chance to get out on a few adventures -hope you like it ,thanks everyone

3 things in this video needed no translation. A child's laugh, a dog's bark, and telling me I just watched a damn fine man. My already great respect for you just went thru the roof. Thanks for being what the world desperately needs more of.

You are a good guy. We need more guys like you. It was a joy for me to see your mission project. I also found joy in watching the children. Children find me in every country I’ve been in, like I have a big sign on my forehead only they can see, “SUCKER FOR KIDS”. In Afghanistan they hit me up for my sun glasses. In Baghdad, it was change in my pocket, in trade for a tour of the city...on foot. In Honduras they sold me several of their hand carved Inca stone statues...that I didn’t need. In Malawi Africa they hit up for my dried cherries, then followed me up Mount Zomba. While up there one of the children felt of the hair on my arms and asked, “Why do you have so much hair on your arms?” I said, “When we grow up, we get a lot of hair, on our arms, legs, and faces.” He said, “Not my Daddy”. “Well, in different parts of the world, people are a bit different. It’s no big deal”.

Missionary work building a house in Bolivia, wow Doug, I'm sure the Lord will bless you.
I just shared this with our oldest son, David James. . He is a missionary with ABI, (Alliance for Biblical Integrity). He is getting ready to go and teach at a Word Of Life camp in Uganda in east Africa in Sept.
I also sent him the link to the Algonquin trip that you & Joe took. He has been to the Quetico twice with me many years ago. God Bless

Really great video! I found it so interesting as my daughter went to Bolivia with New Tribes 15 years ago. She was 15 years old. It was very scary to let her go. It was somewhat volatile politically. She loved the people, especially the children. Way cool to watch this! I love all you guys, Joe, Shawn and Drenalin adventures. I am on the backside of 60 and just not as good of shape anymore. I feel as though I am living through you guys! You are all fantastic and your wives are really blessed. Obviously, you guys have awesome wives too or you wouldn't be having so much fun! I'm still working my way through all of the videos! Oh, and I live in Michigan, up south of Port Huron so we are practically neighbors! Love to all!

As a new subscriber, I have a lot of catch up to do on your videos Doug. I came upon this one quite by accident. I am impressed beyond words by what you are doing here. This video really touched me by your generosity in doing this and for giving me a glimpse of this part of South America. I have been to Venezuela twice and Chile once and was amazed by the friendliness of the people in those countries. It amazes me that they can be so happy with so little. It certainly makes one appreciate the richness of our lives but it also enriches us by understanding how kind these people can be. Thank you for sharing this video with us. What an excellent journey you have taken us on.
