Fire ban was lifted and we hit the water in the dog days of summer to enjoy some paddling,fishing, eating and swimming.It was a great 2 nights out and a good reset -thanks for watching everyone

'Show me the way to go home...!" Maybe the best ever 'Doug Outside' summer video: what a range of wonderful photography. The sound on this one is so crisp. The snap of dry wood with the twig stove ; the boil of the espresso maker. Great to see you and Joe relaxing and taking the summer trip most of us, non-hard-core guys could hope for. What! A canoe camp and you only took along an undersized, less-heat-retaining fry pan!! You said you were out for enjoyment this time...What did you mean, 'tiny'? That Heavy Cover Fry Pan will do the job. Of course, both you and Joe were catching good fish so it is a multi-course fish feast. Then, a new trick: the evergreen bough drainer! This video just kept getting better and better and fresher and fresher. It's on my replay list as of now! This trip will get me through the winter months. DANK??? That sounds like Belgian Ale talk for something that has an appetizing but 'musty-wet-wool' flavor and aroma. Beginning to end, this is HEIRLOOM DOUG OUTSIDE.

Awesome video of a 2 day relaxing fishing trip. I love these kind of video's without portaging, because i'm not a portager. OMG the fish crisp looks super awesome!! Very pretty shot of the fire near the water and you two relaxing with fireside chat. Fireside chat is always a big part of a fishing trip video. Nice wild life and morning sunrise on the water shots! Keeping the fishing trip video real with an awesome content variety mix.

Great video. Nice collaboration you two. Doug, well filmed and edited as always and I must say I like the addition of occasional music. The young boy could learn a thing or two from us old folks. An just an idea joe, Doug an shawn should do a canoe trip. But like a challanage see three different set up of what each of u pack for the trip intended. What I will do for meals,ext. I think it would be a bad ass mixer of Canadian RUclips. Your my three favorites in the outdoors camping life style.

Nothing made me happier than watching this video and being reminded that I will have fun times like you did in this video. There's nothing like the great outdoors. Loved this video, Doug. You make me want to go fishing! By the way, though I got a good chuckle out of Joe's poor attempt at explaining it, dank means pungent and strong. In the case of hops you get a real deep almost dirty plant smell, and it translates into a resinous and bitter flavor profile in the beer. At least that's how I would explain it. For cannabis, dank generally just means strong or smelly. Turns out hops and cannabis are somewhat related so there's somewhat of a connection! You and Joe are a hilarious duo and I'm glad you put up with his shenanigans. Thanks for sharing and take care.
