Slaying them with the senko again! I remember 20+ years ago seeing those lakes advertised for fly in fishing for LM bass.

Doug, I would like to say, congratulation on you demeanour. Of the many people I have watched I must say that your videos are presented in the most respectful manner. It is very refreshing and reminds me of the attitude my Mohawk Grandfather had, it shows that a person does not have to curse, belittle, be over bearing or boastful. It appears to me that you truly understand the real meaning of being humble and that respect is to be earned. Subbed yes, and thank you. Billy Two Hearts

We all enjoy your videos very much. We have only discovered you within the last few months and we REALLY enjoy that you are not a potty mouth like so many others AND that when you portage, you mostly have the camera on the trail where you are going rather than always on your face, like so many others. We LOVE that you show off the surroundings and appreciate the beauty of your surroundings. We enjoy watching you do carvings while whiling away the evenings around a campfire. So interesting and enjoyable! We're not into carving ourselves, but really enjoy watching you carve while on your adventures! Thank you for being you!

It's evening here in Colorado. Locked down and forest fires all over the state. As the sun goes down here and having watched several of your vids threw out the day. I find myself watching you filet fish and finding old decaying boats, I sit here watching and realize as they day went on I now have my fishing pole, tackle box and several favorite knives surrounding me. LOL I might even collect some twigs in the yard and make a little fire in my weber and pretend I'm at my favorite fishing hole. Thanks Doug Love your show. Always feel like I'm there with you. I' m holding the camera, Your carrying the canoe and doing all the work. hehehe

Nice place Doug. Those glacial bogs created the lifestyles two countries enjoy. I am in PA on the terminal moraine of the Ice Age sheets in the Pocono Region of the Delaware State Forest. Bogs a plenty but developed heavily. We have the Delaware River to run on and camp. Portages are 1000 meters to your car. Mass transit provides the up river portaging.

Canoe trippin' is the BEST! I am usually a Boundary Waters type of guy, cuz I am in the States, but there are so many cool places that are boreal to go. I have put Manicougan Resivoir on my bucket list. Cheers Doug! Tnx 4 the vid!
