Marvel Can't Write New Characters - Iron Heart is a Disaster

- It's 2024 and the quality of Hollywood writing has never been worse. It's pointless, it's vapid, and worse of all it's plain uncreative. Everyone with talent or vision seems to have been cast aside in favor of bland, mass produced remakes of existing stories or characters to squeeze any enjoyment of fondness you might have had for the characters for every penny it's worth.
Taking a character, removing the personality, and swapping their race is not creative, innovative, or clever. It's blatant pandering used to shield mediocre writing from legitimate criticism with accusations of racism or misogyny.
People don't want discount Iron Man, they want characters that feel grounded, relatable, and entertaining. Where is the creativity, the art, and the care put into the earlier MCU movies that made billions? It's gone, replaced by corporate machine slop with just enough flavor to appear like it has something meaningful or interesting to say.

Inspired by my attempt at watching Wakanda Forever. Black Panther without Chadwick Boseman is a joke and I physically couldn't make myself finish that 2.5hr trainwreck.

MCU destroyed their own legacy by focusing on unnecessary women empowerment in everything, every other character is now trying to be a girl boss, Hate this shit. It's ok to give a massage through stories but this type of unnatural approaches makes it worse.
I think it's the fact that they tried to replace good writing with empowerment. Female heroes are great and they've been successful in the past, but you can't just write a bad character and expect everyone to cheer because they're diverse... Disney is just too risk averse to create anything new so they're just recreating existing characters with a new actor.
What on your thoughts on Ms. Marvel? Also Ironheart has a show coming out that furthers explore her character I won’t judge fully till then because she was a side character who got help from the wakandains to get her red suit. Ironman got a full trilogy and he’s great I want to give riri a chance with her show before I fully compare

Aside from the 1st Iron Man - Tony Stark worked best in ensemble films (Avengers, Spiderman & Captain America etc). He was a counterpoint to every other hero's journey
The problem today is that no one cares for any of the characters. Throw ReeRee Williams into say a Cpt Marvel / Wakanda Whatever / Eternals pic is about as exciting as paint drying.

Oh gosh more MCU hate grifting this is certainly refreshing to watch. Iron Heart been around in the comics, and the problem with this video is you are acting like she was created for the movie. And no I am not a fan of her in the comics but she is an established character who talks to Tony Stark hologram after he dies.
I don't care about the comics because they have nothing to do with this video. I judge movies based on what I see on screen and the character we got is terribly written.

I know... I know... It's trendy to hate on everything you perceive as "woke". The MCU, to begin with, it's been a joke since its inception. They nerfed many of the comics characters and did not even try to be faithful to their events, at all. I don't give MCU too much credit. Maybe you shouldn't too.
I judge movies based on the story they tell on screen and the story they told here was bad. If this were a video about the comics you might have a point but it's not.
The Marvel fanboy excuse that it 'was better written in the comics' actually makes my point stronger - there was a better written version of this character that already existed and Disney had to go out of their way to make it worse.
