I think this ranking only pertains to NA and NA is generally weaker than EU. On EU there's a ton of core Mesmers and they are relatively decent, it's obviously better to play Power Mirage now but Power Core is still decent

Good shit dude. Good to see you on the hardest class to play and not Willbender....*cough* but hell yeah brother Necro content let's gooooo! I literally can't believe this build seems like it hasn't been tuned down at all, but maybe when Janthir drops, or it will just fall out of favor organically. I love that it is a very easy build for newer, inexperienced players with a decent floor, but for top tier players, the ceiling is about as high as can be until you face teams who will put a perma Spellbreaker on you and focus you down lol. GGzzzzzz!

In my opinion, Firebrand is not even viable in PVP, that's why nobody uses it, Rev's Centaur can do everything that Firebrand's books do and is cheaper and better, you can keep the bubble open almost forever, besides that the mantras are very nerfed and the healing is very low. In WvW it's a little better, because you can stack more healing power. If any build is successful with Firebrand, it's probably the coreguardian carrying and would be better off without points in firebrand.

I thought Virtuoso was garbage for PvP. At least, that's what all the META builds show. I ask because I chose Virtuoso as a main (and my only elite specs so far) and I'm somewhat regretting my decision because there's not too many good builds out there for them (WvW/PvP). Great video!

What do you think about illusions instead of dueling? I keep going back and forth between them -- both seem viable based on respective playstyles, I'm just curious why dueling is more popular overall.

Just so people know, setting FoV to max, also cuts your FPS in half.

I am completely new to the game, i only played pvp and every single tierlist i see, people say that core ele is the worst spec but when you were gushing about why the mesmer is so good i had to think about how my core staff ele does all of that too I tried tempest and weaver too but they absolutely stink against core ele in terms of boon uptime and heal, i really dont know where this core ele sucks thing is coming from, but i will climb the ladder and maybe we see each other and you wont want me to uninstall when im support on your team 😅

Play whatever you want to and ignore this bronze youtuber. It really doesn't matter if you play solo queue anyway.

This lacks sustain especially if there are AOE cleanser from the enemy team.

Been waiting for that meta update video! Started pvping maybe a month ago after diving into GW2 with a Necro, mainly due to your previous tier list, and been having a fantastic time. Pvp in this game is so, so good, I havent done much of anything else since I dipped my toes into it! Im seeing some progress in my understanding of whats happening in games too which is very encouraging (still in G1-2 though so by no means proficient). Currently playing a variant of the condi reaper build, leaning on terrormancer, with death magic and the damage on fear trait and blind applying chill. Utilities are the blind well, the fear ring and the TP. Relic I switch between Nightmare, Akeem and Demon Queen. Weapons are pistol/warhorn and staff but thinking of going double sword for more mobility. I am super annoying to focus because of all the fears and blinds and leaving me alone means big damage through condi spams. I lose quite a bit of condi cleanse but staff 4, death magic and TP helps with that. Would really appreciate your thoughts/critique of this build!

I'd be very interested in a video on support chrono, because it's my main in raids and strikes and I've been struggling to really make it work in pvp specifically. I don't even care what tier it's in I just need some pointers on my fav spec in the game lol. It being ranked so well doesn't hurt though, of course ;)

Nice, almost as much dmg as grieving scepter (core), but it's close! About half pressure of chrono sinister scepter though.

I highly recommend using tornado, shield, or flame sword. The reason is to allow your skills to come back off cool down or you will run out of steam

I want point out one thing about the build people dont talk about much is 3 of you skill have an evade tag. Air 5 fire 3 and earth 3. Being in close with d/d and heavy dps you want to get in scenarios where you are swapping dps or cc with you opponent with these skills.
