- DPS Firebrand returns? This build isn't a replacement for a true support but stacking hybrid builds has always been the sleeper OP option to counter a lot of metas so we'll have to see how this one plays out.

one question: demon relic says poisen u apply reduces healing by additional amount (-50%)
Normal poisen reduces healing for -33%. Does this mean u reduce up to -83% because of -50% and -33%?
or do u reduce from only -33% up to -50%
It moves it from 33 to 50, 83% would be way too OP

@ItsEngal Is there a good tutorial for pvp with firebrand that can teach the basics for someone new to FB wanting to start playing this in unranked. I'm high plat on aura share temp right now and it still feels strong. I have yet to be out healed by another support in my matches since I came back. I actually still run your old aura share tempest build. But the possibility for dmg and support here intrigues me. I've never played this class,
Pure support FB is very good right now but I don’t know of any up-to-date guides for it, maybe you could find old ones from 2019 when it was good last? Most of the mechanics are still the same except the new page system.

@@bearkills9660I have but I don't think they're good. The new weapons in general are too fair and well balanced to see any competitive play or replace what we have now.
nerdy greetings friend! I'm new to gaming and would like to focus on PVP.
I'm therefore looking for a class for "beginners" that is as easy to play as possible and has the greatest possible benefit. It should feel fluid, good in 1v1, team fighting, but also be mobile. I would then main this class - PVP (main focus) and PVE. So what I mean: I'm looking for something that can do a little bit of everything, like an easy-to-play hybrid build. what would you recommend? :) cheers!
The best beginner class is usually going to be necromancer or warrior, they tend to be very forgiving with high HP pools and simpler mechanics, but play whatever seems fun. Every class has viable builds of various difficulties so you don't really need to stress about what to pick.
What about the hfb build in pvp? Did it got buffed aswell or why did ppl start playing it?
hfb did also get buffed but its still just a worse version of core guard so there's not really a reason to play it imo
@@ItsEngalsupport FB is way better than core guard, also way more fun to play.
@@kkonaukko7711 support FB feels good so far but I don't think its been played in comp yet so its hard to say whether it is actually better

I have been playing condi Firebrand in pvp exclusively for a good year or so. I have changed to demon queen ever since it got updated.
Im the one who made the metabattle Firebrand High Condi Burst build. I have made a few changes since then and refined the build, will update soon on the page.
People get surprised when I 1v1 and they get nuked.
The only problem is FB just dont have any long blocking skill in the weapon like ranger GS 4 or disengage evade so its hard to get out of team fights without getting steamrolled if your teammates collapse in PUGS or random games. Definitely need more IQ or ingame knowledge when to go in or out and a support, and good teammates lol.
Maybe with the pistol/pistol it will help.
Plus FB dont have any unlockable effect like in our trait or utility skill. Other melee classes like warrior, ranger, reaper, revenant, catalyst , have one in their utility skill that gives like 10 unlockables. I feel like mantra of potence should have that unblockable skill effect at the last charge effect to counter classes have long blocking skills like warrior shield 5 or ranger gs 4 or revenant staff 3, fortified earth catalyst. Thats one of the reason i feel like fb needs in pvp.
