meanwhile anet cant even give another offhand weapon to thief for 10 straight years. even though every weapon ele has got 20 unique skills they say its too much work to make dual weapon skills. i get mad when i see a ele because of this
Annoyed at how ever since PoF everything new for the ranger has to have a green fart glow on it. Core ranger was always a warrior with a different skillset, but now it all has to be green gas.

Warrior got a fun thief dodge skill. Then suddenly lightning. Warrior. The most meelee brutal class just randomly out of nowhere becomes an elementalist. Then Guardian. With magic, who throws several great swords. Just rush straight in like a doofus.
Necro spear is gonna pair really well with both strike and condi reaper. And the boon rip and, boon block is a thing now? I wonder if that will slap in pvp
atleast Warrior could have that combo/stance as proposed, warriors physical power as heavy weight lifters could very well use and make a much more appealing weapon, since honestly i think spear warrior is just bad/bland
Usually I'm okay with unrealistic animations for the sake of expression and style, but holding a long weapon behind them and sticking their hand out is gonna be hard for me to get over

All of it’s kinda disappointing if you’re a PvE healer main… I mean, the guardian spear heals but honestly, I dont see it replacing staff-mace/shield any time soon.
Most of the animations are absolutely fantastic, although some of them defintely need work. Nevertheless I'm super excited! Also no idea how Guardian got melee over Warrior. Doesnt make much sense.
i mean it kinda makes sense cause warrior dont really have much range option, also last weapon was melee for war and range for guardian. Both of these are performing well atleast.
A lot of classes needed ranged damage options and a majority of players are happy to get them. Multiple of the ones that have Melee animations do use thrusting attacks. Spears historically have been used as slashing and stabbing weapons - their versatility in addition to their reach is what made them so ubiquitous globally. None of your complaints are valid. Do better.

Engineer and Thief is so cool but the DPS is pretty underwhelming and the animations are very slow and heavy

The only thing Arenanet never fail at is disappointing.
Most of these look terrible.
Mostly eused animations and effects.
Skill icons are identical, just swapping spots and colour lmao.

These are placeholders icons during beta test actual icons are good (check pinned comment)
Making them throwing weapons is lame and the ones that are melee are used as slashing weapons rather than piercing weapons.
