I didn't see a build link for this video. also, watching on YT you mention the gear for the build on right side, but because we can't do a rollover we can only guess at the gear (guessing marauder/scholar) but no idea of sigils or relic. also can't find this on Guildgen in the builds area. maybe you could do a link to one of the other sites to help us out. NOTE: after doing my best to setup the equipment, I went into WVW and immediately ran into another virtioso/mez who had just finished the video. the two of us were trying out this build in wvw (as a newbie to this build, it was fine for roaming but not so great in zergs). anyway, pls keep the build videos coming... I enjoy every single one of them!
I've seen Vallun do better with some really bad builds, but this one is just really bad haha, shame because I love Virtuoso but it's not very good in pvp.
Whoever thought this level of gfx design was "an amazing job"...? I cannot understand the players and devs who think so. Maybe thats the real problem , the people who keep jumping for this massively flawed an absurd over the top visual design. 2 second stun on a 600 range aoe on skill 5. They keep slapping hard aoe cc on almost every weapon they make. Nothing good will ever come of this. Elementalist spear is even more ridiculous. Nothing upsets me more than this about this expansion.
the visual clutter? yeah, maybe there is an option to tune it down individually; akin to how we can tune down the noise from other players and their instruments or weapons

It works well with Condi PVE Double Staff Mirage if you swap out one of the staffs for spear

One question: why do you use F5 at for example 5:22 ? I somehow feel that I can't really do anything with this skill
its very niche, but basically it gives 1 aegis because its a shatter with an instant cast

Have you considered relic of rivers?
virtuoso already has a trait that gives near constant regen due to the blocks so half the value of the relic is lost.
Is there a viable mirage build with spear for pvp? And how are you leaping with virtuoso?
sword 3 on virt is a instant leap

Have you had any luck on spear Ele in PvP? No idea which elite would even work well with it
i have not, it seems like it needs buffs, i thought weaver was good but i need to test more later
I saw some tempest spear which seems to be viable, but definitely needs some buffs

that works fine and its what i used as well, its just a lot more squishy, i tend to not like being focused by the entire enemy team

All i get from this as someone that doesnt pvp is mesmer seems broken. Nobody should have that much mobility survivability and damage haha

Why does the warrior get ranged spear skills and mesmer gets only melee spear skills - that make no sense. Thanks Arena for nonsense.
why does mesmer get ranged greatsword and warrior get a melee one?
It would be boring if Mesmer would have gotten another ranged weapon, so I get why they gave it a melee one
