Nobody does those things for gold though. Gold is even less of a contributing factor in pvp since you can dress up as a basic outfit starter look, and still have the stats equal to the other classes.
the only problem is that doing all of these would basiclaly leave anyone with no time for anything else in their lives, you would have to either make this your job in and of itself or just have nothing else other than this after your dayjob.

That final gold per hour number for the week is not very indicitive of my actual average gold per hour while playing since it is the total for the entire week. So it includes all the downtime that I was not playing over the 7 days, thats why its such a low number.

hello kinda new here and i have a couple of questions if u dont mind 1- "14 gold fromm octovine", when i do this meta i only get garbage materials that worth nothing, and yes i get some unidentified gear and some materials but at max they worth like 5g? what do you exactly sell to get around this 14g 2- i see you switch between metas like its nothing, and i dont know if its my playing time or what but it is painful for me to find a full squad doing drizzlewood meta for example and when they are finish, they only do it once and the same goes for the EOD dragon meta. is there a way i can find groups who spam doing drizzlewood or other metas?
I dont mind! hope you dont mind an extremely long winded answer! you might be surprised how much gold you are actually getting from doing just about anything in this game. It does a pretty poor job at making it clear how much account value you actually get from activities because the vast majority of your profit is in the form of materials items and currencies that need to then be converted to gold. This is why I love profit trackers so much, they add up the value of all the little things and it gives you a much better idea of how much value you actually got out of an activity. There is one thing I can think of that could inhibit your profit but its maybe like 60 silver at most, which is choosing something other than the Amalgamated Gemstone from the heros choice chest. another thing to keep in mind is my profit tracker does not take into account the 15% tax that you always get when selling stuff on the trading post, so if I were to sell everything I got from this challenge my actual profit would be 15% less. and yea I have had a similar experience with finding groups for events as well. I'm not in the most popular timezone myself. There are some tips I can give you, but there is also sort of just a skill (if you can call it that?) that you develop over time especially when it comes to jumping into meta events late and finding good map instances. Some metas are generally less popular, drizzlewood for example is one I quite rarely find a commander running in the LFG, but sometimes there is one actually running one that just isnt in the LFG, or sometimes the map is actually just running itself, drizzlewood is one of the metas that can run itself if theres enough people and at least a few people know whats up, which there often is. so sometimes i'll just jump in the map and see. Other metas such as dragonfall are much better when ran by an experienced commander but its also much more popular in my experience so its not as hard to find a group in the LFG. Another tip that is less helpful if youre brand new but an absolute gamechanger once you are able to do it, is buying a commander tag and running the event yourself. It truely is a gamechanger, players always flock to commander tags, whenever youre looking at an empty LFG hoping someone would tag up to run the event, I assure you there are many other players doing the same. Once you gain the ability to tag up you gain the ability to do almost any event at any time you want. If you dont know, you can type "/wiki et" ingame to open up the event timers wiki page that shows you when all the events are happening, and I personally overlay it inside my game so its even easier to quickly see whats coming up and copy the nearest waypoints. I made a guide for that actually: ruclips.net/video/v2B0zfx9VDg/видео.html Joining community discords like Hardstuck and Overflow Trading Company are fantastic for finding groups as well, they commanders ping when they are running events or trains, my discord has a channel that puts these pings from multiple different communities into 1 channel that is pretty handy.

A good question, I did cut the explanation out for time. Its simply because technically the T4 bags have a higher laurel to gold conversion than the T6 bags because of the prices of the items and the average droprates. the fast-farming site has all the conversion rates for currencies. also P.S. if I WASNT doing this challenge where I wanted to see how high of a number I could get for profit during this week, I probably would just grab the T6 bag because I usually would be using the mats to craft legendaries anyway and I usually need T6 mats the most to do so, so because of the 15% TP tax i am likely better off going straight to those, (instead of getting the T4 bag, selling them then using that to buy T6 mats) I knew I didnt want to craft any legendaries for profit for this challenge, I wanted mostly just to see how much I could farm in materials in a week.
fair enough :P I guess the video was less aimed at brand new players as I do gloss over a lot of stuff. Im definitely thinking about making some more detailed newer player focused gold making content as well tho
