Really informative. I have to confess that I'm intimidated by Druid. I made one 5 years ago and it felt like trial by fire. To try it I had to hit the ground running in group content and hope I could be good enough to heal allies or else I would be so bad that I failed at my job. And I wasn't good enough then to get the meta gear on Harrier/Monk. I've seen that druid is now much better at solo and damage so I've thought about dusting my druid off and playing in combat to get more feel for the class and try to ease into support more slowly.
Druid used to be hard indeed. I avoided it entirely previously due to how spirits worked. But now it's really much better and more manageable. It's also really effective. I really hope you like it when you try it 🙂
New into the game and already have a reaper, but I would like to support friends/others players while doing events, open world, dungeons. I just have hot and pof expansions, do I need the new the new one?
Great video! Druid is still in a weird spot for me. For raids I can see using it and some other PvE. I've always wanted to get into Druid but as a WvW Commander it's never a main option compared to FB or Chrono As far as PvE, like for Fractal CMs I never see it used as a healer compared to again FB and now the newly updated Chrono. Do you use druid for Fractal CMs without too much trouble?
I can really feel my contribution on Druid in wvw. It’s awesome. With pvp; if you have a very bursty group, having a healer in the group is amazing. I’ve been winning games consistently as Druid heals. I only use core ranger for open world solo stuff lol

Yeah, i still feel more comfy on my tempest than on druid, haha, i like core and soulbeast better.
Wvw is a great intro to healing!! I main healer and absolutely love it
Note that skill 2 within CA can be used while channeling/casting other abilities within the form as it has no cast time itself.

@@yunusdts You can use the skill 2 insta-cast ability while other channeling (like skill 4) is happening without interrupting the channel/cast.

You need the latest expansion to be able to use Mace on Rangers. But the build can still work very well with and Axe instead of a Mace
can this build be used using mace? started using Druid but I feel like playing piano unlike Healbrand

Heal Druid will be better in most cases. Tempest is still very strong and extremely useful tho

It can, but won't be as effective in heals. In hard fights, the heals may be enough

It can work in WvW with few adjustments. As for PvP, I don't know. I haven't played PvP for a very long time
