That's just it. "Endgame" felt like the end. What comes next when you're ending your biggest heroes? Now it feels like... Finishing up the side quests and collecting tokens to get 100% completion.
Ironman and capt America were b list marvel heroes 20 years ago. They have no excuse for fumbling everything after they bought the rights from the fox movjes
@@teejayman215 Regardless, when the MCU started they made Iron Man, Captain America and Thor their big names (not being able to use Spider-man, X-Men and F4), retire them and you leave us with... Thor... Kinda? A "new" CA in Falcon? We have a Spider-man but most ot his story/arc has been scribbled into the margins so... Who do we latch onto? They bungled the transition by not giving us anyone to be behind.
Now they need to basically start over and build to a new climax. That's why I never understood why people expected Avengers type numbers. Nope we are back to 400M-800M box office while they build to a new climax.
Also, they didn't handle Thor correctly. He should have been on the same level of Iron Man and Capt. America. The 3 characters had their own series of films.
I honestly prefer a more serious thor compared to the parody of himself they made out of him. The dark world failed because it had a weak villain, but i liked it better than ragnarok or love and thunder. I mean if you made love and thunder into a serious film that didn’t crap out mindless jokes every 5mins it would have been epic.
@@patrickprucha5522 you guys forget about the Hulk. Hulk is one of the originals, in the comics he comes first then captain America he deserved better
so true, disney+ has ruined the structure of the next/current phases because of all the series imo. Now you have to watch several series that are each over 4 hours in length, compared to single films that were 2hrs at most. All that coupled with the fact the series are now so integral to the plot compared to how Agents of Shield was for example, yet the films have little real crossover like this video explained, it showing that they are really struggling to put the next phases together.
yes disney only succeed thanks to movies that were made before marvel is bought by disney in 2012, and thats why it go on until endgame thanks to old characters , but after old pre-disney characters r gone, disneymarvel become nothing .
Tbf, Thanos' plan actually had benefits as the world would've been a better place for a few centuries since there would've been ample resources for everyone. The only problem with it was that many innocents and loved ones were lost. Coming to disney, nah, no benefits.
Me too, ive been a big fan of ironman since the first time i saw it on cinemas in 2008, but when they killed ironman, fock that sheet, i aint give a fock about other mcu characters
Bad bad decision. He should have come back young and said "I've found my ending, I hope you find yours" gave the shield and left for good. Leaving it open for him to come back.
The tv shows are amazing, Loki is absolutely brilliant, season 2 didn't hit but season 1 was a master piece. Wanda vision was equally as brilliant and well made..
To be honest season 1 was good, but did lack action, but the build up to the end was really well done and set up the second season season 2 was good, but it was a bit too much at times, but gave us a decisive ending for Loki's story... Avengers would have been fine if they had worked on other movies like 1 - not making a proper plan Black Panther 2 2 - why was Thor seeming more like a secondary character in his movie, why is Jane a better Thor than Thor for certain parts of that movie 3 - the Marvels, why was the villain so silly 4 - etc... etc... No true evil villains Heroes are made goofy or stupid at random so others can stand out Some heroes are made too perfect so there is no way to write an actual threat Avengers 1 - Save the world - from Loki and Alien Invasion Avengers 2 - Save the world - from Ultron and Machines Avengers 3 Infinity War - Save the Universe - from Thanos and his children Avengers 4 End Game - Time Travel - save the universe - from Thanos and his children Avengers Infinity War and Endgame are basically just one large movie with two parts... but where do you go from there... 1 - Save the world ---> Save the universe ---> Save the multiverse?? 2 - Thor is looking more senile than Odin, Hulk is just chilling, Captain America retired, Iron Man retired, Black Widow and Hawk Eye are regular people, they are not built for universal saving, Guardians is more or less at their end game... 3 - Why did they not start prepping other movies or investing in another hit like Iron Man was... companies take risks, hit big... and forget that over time risks must always be taken, or eventually you get left with nothing as most progress will get caught up to or surpassed if you do not keep pushing...
Some of the shows are decent, Loki is honestly really good and I liked WandaVision. But I agree, they just kept making more and more shows and not all of them were great. I didn’t watch the marvels because I never had an interest in ms marvel. Maybe if it was a movie under two hours but not a whole season
After thanos, they should have established the next big threat well enough so that all the other movies could point towards one looming all out fight again. One of the many issues is that kang wasn’t well known, so people like myself lost interest. After endgame, I expected the next villain to step in would be galactus or dormmamu. I didn’t even know who kang was.
Only one word to describe the downfall of Marvel... "Greed". Greedy shareholders wanting more profit, a greedy streaming platform pushing for more content and greedy viewers wanting the next big thing. Sadly, it seems Kevin Feige is either compliant in the poor output or too weak to stop it.
@@Spaghetti42ono fr. People are saying marvel is dying but watch Deadpool 3 make a billion dollars. Watch Spider-Man 4 make a billion dollars. Watch the next two avengers movies make a billion dollars😭😭
Lets admit it, it was the shows, the people who watched only the movies felt left behind, when Quantumania released a lot of people in theater were like "Wait, Loki is alive?" after the post credit scene
stopped watching marvel after endgame because that was the best ending we could have asked for. Everything after endgame was trash, and even things before endgame were trash (captain marvel in particular). And looking at disney's internal politics, it's no surprise why. "Actively shun white people from being chosen for roles just because they're white" yeah no. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Marvel is dead because disney killed it.
Haha still can't believe they put a TV CLIP as an end credit. Like WTF. Alienated their fan base by saying, oh yeah go buy disney plus so you can see what happens next..
1. They lost consistency of the abilities of superheroes. The first Avengers movie set everyone up against each other and we saw how strong they are in comparison. Then they stomped all over that by making everyone as powerful as the plot requires them to be. 2. Thanos was a very interesting villain. He was educated, wise, reasonable, and true to his word. After Thanos, there are no more intriguing villains. 3. Everything went so cosmic and hilariously out of proportion. Powers and fights don't even make sense anymore. We used to be excited seeing Iron Man lift off the ground and barely fly. Now these guys throw planets at each other and we are not fazed at all. 4. So many objects/people/beings of power. How many deities can you shove into one universe? Oh this guy eats spacetime, oh that stone destroys multiverse, oh the staff of coherence is stolen by the evil witch doctor maravelle who will use it to destroy causality - I mean, come on already, not every villain has to be a threat to the fabric of reality. And I disagree, we already had too much Kang. There's Kang in everything for the last few years. I'm so sick of Kang and I hope they drop him altogether. I don't want to see anything else with Kang or even hear the name Kang again. Kang.
Good video! Finally some truth No character development. No connections between characters. No central villain. No coherent direction or story Marvel in trouble
This is a new saga, you have to wait for it. It was in Infinity war were they brought the heroer together. So that means that we will see it in Avengers 5. And there is a central villain, Kang. And in Avengers 5 we will know about him more. The Infinity saga took years to end, so it will also take years for the new saga
@@ihavenoname-qm8nr Couple differences. One, The Avengers came out in 2012, just four years after Ironman. They spent the next 7 years building all the relationships to culminate in Endgame in 2019. If we are lucky, Avengers 5 will come out in 2026, a full 7 years after the Multiverse Saga began in 2019!!! Secret Wars is projected to release the following year in 2027. Are expected to believe the MCU can build enough wonderful relationships and story lines in ONE YEAR to make Secret Wars worth watching? No chance. Or do they want us to wait another 7 years til 2033? That’s not happening either Which bring us to point number two. The Infinity Saga was very simple and focused in beginning. Three main heroes - Ironman, Captain America, Thor. Three side heroes - Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye. That’s it. And we cared about them!! They mattered to us. The Avengers then brought them together, and we followed them with CARING through Endgame Quite frankly, the Multiverse Saga has god knows how many characters, and we don’t care about hardly any of them. The same emotional connections have NOT been built Do we care about She-Hulk, Echo, Gaia, America Chavez, etc like any of the Eternals like we did about Ironman, Cap, etc? No No one like Captain Marvel. Falcon does not remotely fill Caps boots. Dr Strange is cold and unrelatable. Etc The only solid characters we care about are Spiderman and Shang Chi. But that’s just not enough MCU has failed since Endgame. Big time. And I don’t think they know how to fix it.
@@ihavenoname-qm8nr Avengers happened 4 years into Infinity Saga, and we really cared about central characters already. Then they took 7 years to develop relationships and build to Endgame. It was epic cause we cared about characters and relationships If Avengers 5 comes out in 2026 as projected, it will already be 7 years into Multiverse Saga and we barely care about any of these characters. Spidey? Not much more. And how are we supposed to build connection across 60 characters? And then Secret Wars is scheduled to come out just one year later in 2027. There’s no time to build relationships amongst characters, not for us to develop much caring for them This is all a failed strategy
Man that last scene tony sacrificing himself with "I am ironman" still gives me goosebumps. I don't think it will ever happen again with our 30 sec attention span.
Think Chadwick Boseman would have been great as the leader for the current and upcoming phases. Black panther would have been a solid leader. Sadly he passed away. Maybe he and dr strange both being the leaders and having conflicting ideas like Ironman and captain America.
And it's not Dr. Stranger it's Dr. Strange. You are obviously clueless because you don't even know that Chadwick Boseman died. That's why you don't see the Black Panther character in Marvel movies anymore. What a Marvel fan you are.

@@luddman77 that is objectively wrong kiddo. Quit being a contrarian with awful film takes. Endgame is a phenomenal movie and conclusion to the infinity saga.
The MCU should’ve just ended with Endgame. It’s honestly the perfect ending to the infinity saga. Sure, not every story was concluded, and I’m happy we got the last guardians movie. But Endgame just had a certain finality to it. I immediately felt a sense of closure, or satisfaction. Unlike Star Wars, I’m somewhat numb or unbothered with the MCU’s downward spiral. It was a good run, but there’s just no way it could ever bounce back to what it used to be. And that’s ok.
@@SamuelIrias marvel only survived thanks to characters marvel made before disney buy it, but after pre-disney characters gone, disney fall, so disney didnt got marvel 3 year ago but they lost the pre-disney characters and just got ruined since 2019, so its disneys fault obviously, thats why only way they succedd is by bringing old spidermans or old wolverine. Or it can never do anything good without using old characters that are developed before PRE-DISNEY acqusition. So thats the point
Exactly, Disney ruined pixar too even though pixar is more resistant to not obey disney but it still have some little influences. But marvel full sold its soul to disney and become massproduction of moviemaking. Monopolies never care about quality, marvel was once smaller alone studio so it cared about quality to be popular, now it doesnt need popularity or anything because disney is already a big name, and competition is gone now disney ruined fox too and got marvel, so its fully DC-WarnerBros or MARVEL-Disney, nothing in between to make competiton among marvel. It was great when there was competition between SONY, UNIVERSALY, MARVEL, FOX which had their own marvel characters. DISNEY bought all or get them in MCU to prevent them to make their own versions. I would prefer universal to make its own HULK Trilogy etc.
It's like they put all of their energy into the Infinity saga and ended up fatiguing since. It doesn't help that their best guys, Stan and Chadwick, have all lost their lives. Now they just want a quick and easy buck and couldn't be bothered to put in any work.

"The strongest steel is forged by the fires of hell. It is pounded and struck repeatedly before it's plunged back into the molten fire." Steve Rogers and Tony Stark were forged, as were many other MCU characters, that's what made us invest in their stories. We need to see the other characters evolve, not just come already developed and formed. We want to see their hearts.
Many of the characters are Mary Sues. They have their powers and are perfect from the start. For example, She-Hulk being stronger, tougher, and better than Hulk in her first day, without any training. In the comic books, she retained her intelligence (great advantage), but she wasn't as strong, fast, or tough as Hulk.
@@MakeYouFeelBetterNow I served in the military for 39+ years. And my career was a journey, all the way until the end. Coming up upon my retirement, I was told to reflect on my career for my retirement ceremony presentation. It was a long road filled with my share of trials and tribulations....and many victories and triumphs. To not see the hardships of our heroes takes away from their triumphs. We start to see them as coming too easy and not earned. A hill isn't hard to climb...if you begin at the top.
I love how you guys didn't just make fun of and insult Marvel like other RUclipsrs. You were logical and critical, which made it finally make sense. Thank you.
IMO it boils down to 3 things: 1. Superhero fatigue. It's real. You can only watch so many of these movies without needing to see something different (aka Logan, Deadpool). Remember it's not just Marvel but DC that contributes to that fatigue. 2. Greed. Disney just pumped out too much, too fast with lower quality. Very few of their narratives are compelling. Very few of the newer characters are compelling. I've really only enjoyed No Way Home and Guardians 3 post-Endgame. And I'm not a Disney+ subscriber and find too many references in the movies that tie back to the miniseries that I didn't see, so there are challenges in understanding what's actually going on. This is all due to Disney's greed in trying to pump out content without taking the time to make sure it's good content. 3. The death of Chadwick really hurt. He was in a prime position to be The Man going forward with Thor (greater universe) and Spider Man (smaller, Earth-bound tales) filling in gaps. Wakanda could have been established as a constant base of operations and allowed various characters to interact. I don't know if that would have been the plan or not but there's definitely a power vacuum in the Marvel universe right now and NONE of the existing characters seem to have the personality to do it. Who is going to step up? Ant Man? Thor, who already turned down leadership? Captain Marvel, who few like? Spider Man, who still acts like a kid? Chadwick would have been the natural, logical choice and the MCU has yet to work around his absence.
Yeah there was no need for Disney to drop so many series like idk half the shit that goes on in movies these days bcos of those series, can’t sit watching 10 series before a movie, they’re punishing us
You are missing a major point in all of this, there was nothing there to act like the glue between the heroes, more importantly, there is no Strategic Homeland, Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D.), the original heroes directly derived from the organization: Tony's father was a co-founder, Steve's love interest was also a co-founder, both Clint and Natasha were Agents, Thor was an ally/friend of Coulson, Bruce was the only one without a link. But it was Fury and Coulson that brought the team together, and then with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., saw the stories become more connected. What far from home should have done was re-establish S.H.I.E.L.D. with Fury taking to task alongside Coulson to assemble a new team.
i usually hate these videos cause most of them are just using the opportunity to gain views/likes from haters or people who are saturated of the MCU, but damn this one gained my heart, since the clips quality, text and editing till the content explain everything that happened to the dawn of Marvel Studios as a franchise itself… CONGRATS! MCU Infinity Saga was a HUGE and VERY special part of me and so many others, the happier moments of my life were pre-opening of event films like Infinity War, Endgame and No Way Home, and it's so sad for a fan like me seeing people blaming MCU for other movies in cinema being bad these days, i hope they rise again, and create so many other special moments like we had in 2018, 19 and 21. ❤️🙏🏻
Marvel will never reach the highs of Endgame, but with good management Marvel could still have produced great stories for years to come. Unfortunately, it seems that ever since Endgame, Marvel's been determined to tear down the great universe they once created.

The problem with Hawkeye is that nobody believes he can pull of the feats he's pulling off. He's just human. Tony Stark should've upgraded his suit so he becomes a bit more interesting
That's the problem tho, if Tony stepped in upgrading everybody's gimmick then there wouldn't be a point for them to develop on their own, that's why Peter had to lose the suit in NWH, he needed to earn his own suit, his own worth, narratively and as a character
Avengers Secret Wars is supposed to be better than endgame. 5 hour film across 2 movies. Maybe off earth every possibility. And also the finale of the Avengers and the Multiverse Saga.
every naruto needs a sasuke, as a goku needs a vegeta, and a batman needs a superman. The greatest thing with steve and tony is that as their story progressed they both took on characteristic traits of each other through either, consistent trauma and a tremendous amount of weight on his conscious (tony stark) or by slowly learning about the new world, and learning through history that no matter how much order and patriotism and just for doing whats right and by the book, the evil kept spreading, slithering its way into every crack and corner of what he thought was right and committing atrocities behind closed doors, no one can be trusted anymore (Steve). And it all came to a big climax when tony, the selfish lone wolf who says fuck authority became a government lap dog and bowed down to authority, while steve rogers, the soldier who is all about following orders, became the rogue. It all finally comes full circle when tony does what steve always wanted to do since movie 1, sacrifice himself for the greater good and kills thanos. And steve does what tony always wants to do, whatever the fuck he wants, and steve does the selfish move of being with peggy, knowing damn well he shouldve went back to his timeline and lead the avengers and kept the order.
I don't think something like the Infinity Saga will ever happen again. There was so much that had to go right beyond just the writing. With the conclusion in Endgame people felt that as the end. Everything after has been chasing a dream that has already been fulfilled. And the thing about chasing dreams is, if you are chasing then the magic is lost.
Marvel is on their comeback now with Deadpool and Wolverine, Venom 3 coming out this October, Avengers: Doomsday coming out on 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars coming out on 2027
I agree. I hope Deadpool 3 is good and those reshoots for Brave New World are worth it. Otherwise… it’s gonna be another problem. Either way, I’d keep my expectations low. Anyways… this video is quite well-detailed! Great video
Here's what happened......Disney went WOKE, Marvel went BROKE. I'm grateful I was able to share the MCU universe with my daughters from Ironman to Endgame. Now, when my older daughters see a Marvel movie, they can't stand them.
They didn't focus and center around a few characters around the entire arc. The first 3 phases circled around a few characters, watching them grow and learn. Now it's nothing but throwing everything with no focus.
i just came back from deadpool & wolverine. i think what's missing is actual fans who grew up with the comics, who wore the costumes to school, who remember watching captain america 1990 aren't the ones writing and producing. and even if i'm wrong, they aren't very rebellious or conscientious writers. the actors they have hired for these roles are all well cast, but the new mcu relies too heavily on big names to make up for passionless stories. there's no more passion in the main mcu and we can all tell.
A few things caused the marvel downfall. 1. Endgame felt like the end 2. The buffet strategy: as fiege said -phase 4 would be like a buffet where you can pick and choose what you want to follow. This made phase 4 aimless. After phase 4 no one knew what marvel was leading up to. There just was no direction. 3. Hubris - with all the success they had a “we can do no wrong” and just kept green lighting more and more (more than doubling their release) without thinking of how to connect it all. 4. Then a big one is bad luck. The death of Chadwick Boseman, Jonathan majors being found guilty. As well as what ever other things came up. 5. Even up to endgame marvel movies felt like an event. Now it’s just another thing. They would blame it on superhero fatigue, but it’s mainly because nothing seems connected and none of it feels like it’s leading up to something big. Which is the biggest problem, none of it felt like it was leading anywhere Kind of like they saw how they over looked the shows (the Netflix shows, agents of shield, etc) and went “it worked last time, let’s have the movies and shows overlook themselves” I wish they stuck with the original ending for quantum mania - the one where scott is trapped in the quantum realm and the signal in Shang chi is him
the fact is, in between 2008 to 2019(10 years), the amount of watch hours was "X" let's say.. then, in between 2019 to 2024,(5yrars )this watchtime became "2X"
Hiring writers with a few tv episodes to their credits to write 300 million dollar movies, and hiring directors with a handful of 500 thousand dollar documentaries to their credits to direct 300 million dollar movies was also part of the problem.
Reality is, a lot could've been saved by slowing down just a bit and developing more of a plan. I'd have some of it entirely, like the Loki Series- The whole TVA/Variants thing wasn't really... anything, much as there are cool moments, I mean, it had Tom Hiddleston in it. Problem there is, it undercut's Loki's death in Endgame pretty much immediately after Endgame. And I love Oscar Isaacs too, but Moon Knight was a HARD sell for a series, so I'd likely be cutting that as well. Start with the "epilogue" movies. such as No Way Home, Falcon and Winter Soldier, Wakanda Forever (DON'T just undo the stuff done in the first movie), Thor L&T (Take Movie Seriously), WandaVision finale goes straight to Multiverse of Madness, finish up with Incredible Hulk movie with Genius Hulk realizing how badly the world needs the Avengers reformed, romance with Betsy Ross, conflict with Thunderbolt Ross (foreshadow Thunderbolts here, too), and introduce Jenn (y'know, this time like they want audiences to be excited about her getting her own series). Essentially from here, you start splitting the MCU into "regions" from Street to Cosmic level with little overlap. Run concurrent series on Disney Plus. For Ms. Marvel and the next gen, you move over to Young Avengers and set them to band up, maybe even making it the West Coast Avengers.
I think that people are forgetting that Marvel is about to launch its most popular team in live action. I think that it will light the fire under a lot of people again. Just please do it right.
The way Marvel Studios and Disny is handling Deadpool3 actually just shows how bad it is imo. Lgan was the PERFECT ending to Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. I don't care if it is an alternative version from a different timeline. It shows that the only trick they have up theur sleeve is reliance on popular characters. No Way Home hyped up the 3 spidermen but honestly beyond that... the movie wasn't well made. It just showed blind reliance on nostalgia and character they know have succeeded. Same goes for Dr. Strange 2. They just hyped up Prof X and the Fantastic 4 joining but what did they do to tie in the universes besides simply showing their faces? It's just lazy writing. It has to go well just because they're bringing in popular teams? Well look what Disney did to Star Wars. You honestly think they won't do the same when it's already happening? Iron Heart being the official heir to Tony Stark, Shuri succeeding T'Challa, pure female "Young Avengers" and all that BS. Don't be surprised when they have a transexual black Kitty physically overpowering Juggernaut.
I liked deadpool and wolverine but not even for a second did i think that the mcu is back or its gonne get better , im hoping that either disney undergoes new management or that someone else buys marvel from disney.
The problem is that everyone got to attached to endgame and infinity that they were blinded by nostalgia and the goodness of those two movies to see the many bad stuff of the first saga, fans now think that everything has to be like endgame and infinity war. Its that simple, they didnt "destroy" themselves. Its the same with star wars original trilogy and prequel trilogy, original trilogy fans were too attached to it, blinded by nostalgia and thought that the prequel trilogy has to go exactly like the original one even though it was a completely different story, same with marvel fans now.
Why not X-Force; X-Factor; Silver Surfer; World Breaker Hulk; 8th Day Juggernaut; Sinister....and countless other one off series that lead into sequels.😎
Tbh it just feels like we’re in a Filler Saga we had some GREAT stuff these last few years but The Avengers Era of Marvel is definitely over most ppl are just waiting for The X-men & Fantastic Four to get introduced and take charge once again of The Marvel Universe just like in the comics Their recent show X-men 97 was incredible, Deadpool & Wolverine looks like a big hit, and the upcoming Fantastic Four & Daredevil & Xmen Projects are gaining a lot of attention It’s clear The MCU needs to stray away from The Avengers and focus more on the good characters they got back The MCU is definitely on a decline with some hits but it’s def far from dead especially when they didn’t even introduced their best characters yet aside from Spider-Man
Jonathan Majors as Kang was so good and S1 of Loki too, but sadly, that S2 was a trash especially the final. Marvel kill Loki again by stuck him in a tree, because of another strong woman to show SJW propaganda

We saw if disney could do anything good without bringing wolverine back or tobey back or putting captain or ironman or thor that were before Disney bought marvel. @@Ericaandmac I don’t think they’re getting rid of old ones so they can add new ones. All the hero’s that have “changed” races are based in the comics like iron heart and falcon as captain america. Even now with the minorities added into the mcu the majority of the heroes are still white. It’s just marvel doesn’t write good for many of these minorities which backfires on them. Exeption of miles morales even though that isn’t mcu. Besides they didn’t get rid of characters like the og iron man or og captain american to make room for a black actor to play them they’re just following stuff from the comics after the actors contracts finished
So many fans are there like myself were just excited to see new stories and heroes after endgame. If they had provided the same powerful backstory and strength to the characters(and not destroy already loved characters like thor, dr strange, fury etc) people would've still enjoyed it. Even if they somehow bring back tony I'm afraid they will make him do stupid stuff. That's what they did to so many characters.
The biggest letdown I have from the MCU is as you mentioned “ quantity over quality “. Once you kill off or age out your anchor characters, you have to develop the supporting characters further like you did with Falcon and Winter Soldier.
Comic book have been doing this for decades. After every big event, there's a cool down period where nothing interesting happen. Then they kinda reset and builds up to the next major event.

Thor...
America. The 3 characters had their own series of films.

so true, disney+ has ruined the structure of the next/current phases because of all the series imo.

They messed up when they decided we needed to watch a tv show to understand the story of a movie.
I don't wanna do homework before watching a movie. I just skip the movie
The tv shows are amazing, Loki is absolutely brilliant, season 2 didn't hit but season 1 was a master piece. Wanda vision was equally as brilliant and well made..
To be honest season 1 was good, but did lack action, but the build up to the end was really well done and set up the second season
season 2 was good, but it was a bit too much at times, but gave us a decisive ending for Loki's story...
Avengers would have been fine if they had worked on other movies like
1 - not making a proper plan Black Panther 2
2 - why was Thor seeming more like a secondary character in his movie, why is Jane a better Thor than Thor for certain parts of that movie
3 - the Marvels, why was the villain so silly
4 - etc... etc...
No true evil villains
Heroes are made goofy or stupid at random so others can stand out
Some heroes are made too perfect so there is no way to write an actual threat
Avengers 1 - Save the world - from Loki and Alien Invasion
Avengers 2 - Save the world - from Ultron and Machines
Avengers 3 Infinity War - Save the Universe - from Thanos and his children
Avengers 4 End Game - Time Travel - save the universe - from Thanos and his children
Avengers Infinity War and Endgame are basically just one large movie with two parts...
but where do you go from there...

I agree. Thats exactly what the comic books would do, sometimes. It worked.

They shoud have introduced these villains in the movies time to time, not major characters but just glimpses of them, that would have been better
Only one word to describe the downfall of Marvel... "Greed". Greedy shareholders wanting more profit, a greedy streaming platform pushing for more content and greedy viewers wanting the next big thing. Sadly, it seems Kevin Feige is either compliant in the poor output or too weak to stop it.

stopped watching marvel after endgame because that was the best ending we could have asked for.
Even if there were no shows, the movies have lots of issues too.

Haha still can't believe they put a TV CLIP as an end credit. Like WTF. Alienated their fan base by saying, oh yeah go buy disney plus so you can see what happens next..
It's not just the shows. The quality of the movies themselves went downhill. Quantumania you mentioned was an absolute mess.

That’s not happening either
Which bring us to point number two. The Infinity Saga was very simple and focused in beginning. Three main heroes - Ironman, Captain America, Thor. Three side heroes - Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye. That’s it. And we cared about them!! They mattered to us.
The Avengers then brought them together, and we followed them with CARING through Endgame
Quite frankly, the Multiverse Saga has god knows how many characters, and we don’t care about hardly any of them. The same emotional connections have NOT been built
Do we care about She-Hulk, Echo, Gaia, America Chavez, etc like any of the Eternals like we did about Ironman, Cap, etc? No
No one like Captain Marvel. Falcon does not remotely fill Caps boots. Dr Strange is cold and unrelatable. Etc
The only solid characters we care about are Spiderman and Shang Chi. But that’s just not enough
MCU has failed since Endgame. Big time. And I don’t think they know how to fix it.
There is character development
@@ihavenoname-qm8nr Avengers happened 4 years into Infinity Saga, and we really cared about central characters already. Then they took 7 years to develop relationships and build to Endgame. It was epic cause we cared about characters and relationships
If Avengers 5 comes out in 2026 as projected, it will already be 7 years into Multiverse Saga and we barely care about any of these characters. Spidey? Not much more. And how are we supposed to build connection across 60 characters?
And then Secret Wars is scheduled to come out just one year later in 2027. There’s no time to build relationships amongst characters, not for us to develop much caring for them

I love how you guys didn't just make fun of and insult Marvel like other RUclipsrs. You were logical and critical, which made it finally make sense. Thank you.
IMO it boils down to 3 things:
Black panther and his majestic army was really exciting to watch.
Yeah there was no need for Disney to drop so many series like idk half the shit that goes on in movies these days bcos of those series, can’t sit watching 10 series before a movie, they’re punishing us
Not really superhero fatigue just bad content

No nothing like the infinity saga will ever happen again now it’s the multiverse saga get your head out of the past!!!!
deadpool casually making a comeback with dancing intro 😂
Moonknight, wandavision, hawkeye, deadpool, black widow, shang chi, loki, etc. MCU has many many promising characters on their hands.
Enter Wolverine as well.
They’ll mess it up. They get worse each year. 2024 is just an outlier here 🤣
I saw this thing coming when I left the theaters after watching Endgame
Sure you did
@@JemineOkoturohit’s not that impossible to believe lol
Marvel is on their comeback now with Deadpool and Wolverine, Venom 3 coming out this October, Avengers: Doomsday coming out on 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars coming out on 2027
The quality of the films has also been very poor too!
No they haven’t
@@JemineOkoturoh uh yes they have
I agree. I hope Deadpool 3 is good and those reshoots for Brave New World are worth it. Otherwise… it’s gonna be another problem. Either way, I’d keep my expectations low.

Fingers crossed!

Here's what happened......Disney went WOKE, Marvel went BROKE. I'm grateful I was able to share the MCU universe with my daughters from Ironman to Endgame. Now, when my older daughters see a Marvel movie, they can't stand them.
8:25 that snap is just for the end Marvel
😂😂
I didn’t see x men and the fantastic 4 0:10
MCU characters bola hai usne saaf saaf, X-Men and fantastic four abhi MCU mai nhi aaye hai
They were still apart of 20th century fox at the time
Beside anti heros
A few things caused the marvel downfall.
1. Endgame felt like the end
Which is the biggest problem, none of it felt like it was leading anywhere
Kind of like they saw how they over looked the shows (the Netflix shows, agents of shield, etc) and went “it worked last time, let’s have the movies and shows overlook themselves”
I wish they stuck with the original ending for quantum mania - the one where scott is trapped in the quantum realm and the signal in Shang chi is him
the fact is, in between 2008 to 2019(10 years), the amount of watch hours was "X" let's say..
then, in between 2019 to 2024,(5yrars )this watchtime became "2X"
Hiring writers with a few tv episodes to their credits to write 300 million dollar movies, and hiring directors with a handful of 500 thousand dollar documentaries to their credits to direct 300 million dollar movies was also part of the problem.
Finally they made a good movie with deadpool

@@austinmichael3086 love both and have em on dvd. My favorite non Spider-Man marvel movies other than infinity war and endgame
You're brilliant
the quest for spectacularism was backed with the most short-sighted writing possible, something the comics didn't suffer from
8:33 There is a point. Money.
I think Deadpool & Wolverine has bought back the Marvel factor and it feels like the film will catapult the MCU in the right direction.
Iron Heart being the official heir to Tony Stark,
Shuri succeeding T'Challa,
pure female "Young Avengers" and all that BS.
Brilliant Documentary on this, Captain America civil war is what caused the infighting that ruins a lot of relationships.
Why not X-Force; X-Factor; Silver Surfer; World Breaker Hulk; 8th Day Juggernaut; Sinister....and countless other one off series that lead into sequels.😎
Who came after Deadpool&Wolverine and Rdj comeback
Tbh it just feels like we’re in a Filler Saga we had some GREAT stuff these last few years but The Avengers Era of Marvel is definitely over most ppl are just waiting for The X-men & Fantastic Four to get introduced and take charge once again of The Marvel Universe just like in the comics
Their recent show X-men 97 was incredible, Deadpool & Wolverine looks like a big hit, and the upcoming Fantastic Four & Daredevil & Xmen Projects are gaining a lot of attention
It’s clear The MCU needs to stray away from The Avengers and focus more on the good characters they got back
The MCU is definitely on a decline with some hits but it’s def far from dead especially when they didn’t even introduced their best characters yet aside from Spider-Man
This.
im right with you buddy im planing to watch deadpool and wolverine with my mom soon
Deadpool looks like it’s going to be trash
Nicely made video. Loved the music mixing you did during the whole presentation.
0:55 Old phase plan here. Iron heart, Armor wars... Not out yet
Have you seen Loki? Best version of Kang. Follows a lot of your points including the last one.
Jonathan Majors as Kang was so good and S1 of Loki too, but sadly, that S2 was a trash especially the final. Marvel kill Loki again by stuck him in a tree, because of another strong woman to show SJW propaganda
@@lilokiola9525 ???? I'm Republican but the whole point was that the show was about Loki.
He is the strongest character for making that sacrifice. I can't imagine choosing to be stuck somewhere to save everyone else. That was one of the strongest things he could have possibly done.

Jurassic Cinematic Universe kept their old characters intact and an interesting thickening plot which kept movie-goers like me to the edge of the seat. You need old characters.
On the other hand, the Jurassic Cinematic Universe is garbage. There has only been one good Jurassic Park movie, and it was called "Jurassic Park".

Endgame explains the reason,it has the word end,but now Marvel made an announcement, that avengers doomsday(2026)victor von doom is Rdj, maybe marvel will rise again
Do you know what's annoying? When critics see Marvel projects fail, they blame Disney. When X-Men '97 succeed, they don't believe it's Disney's doing.
The Marvel Fandom > MCU when it comes to being in shambles😂
XMen 97 succedd cuz they based it on old show, (Succedd for some people who blindly love anything connected to old series and cant see downgrades in new ones, not for me because it was full of social messages and personality changes, censorship to females, frozen movie face animations, and bad shading of characters that cannot intereact with environment and lighting) Disney only get love when they revive old characters etc or when they base a story on old characters like ironman, or old shows like 1992 xmen tas, so disney is right to be blamed still. We saw if disney could do anything good without bringing wolverine back or tobey back or putting captain or ironman or thor that were before Disney bought marvel. All those ethernals etc were nothing.
they seem to forget spiderman no way home made up the spiderverse and deleted it within 3 hours
they seem to forget that brilliant origin stories like Shang chi exist, and Loki(one of the best web series). it all existed in the same time frame.
@@Ericaandmaci agree with your point here. i feel if Disney makes a woke spiderman animated show like this xmen thing, we may even start to hate spiderman.
imagine a multiversal story of spiderman under Disney where gwen gets to be the lead character and the girl boss who teaches miles and Peter what to do. and, to add to the wound, Peter B Parker is gay in this universe and that's why MJ left him.

@@godson200 I didnt like nowayhome too, it was full of illogicality, how can dr. octopus exist if greengoblin doesnt die, or how can peter say MJ he is spiderman if dr octopus didnt kidnap mj. So it ruined all raimi story timeline. Its story was almost like done by a kid without thinking these contradictions.
They introduced Kang in the season 1 of Loki and their problem about Kang’s actor is that he committed crimes or sum shi
One thing they can do is bring back an already established franchise here. I'm talking about continuation of James McAvoy's Charles Xavier and Michael Fassbender's Magneto's storyline that hung up at Dark Pheonix's end.
X-Men can bring back the interest like they did with Deadpool and Wolverine.
Shang-chi is mentioned throughout by the Ten Rings. They’re who “Kidnapped Tony” then with “The Mandarin” & Kylian when all along it was Shang chi’s father.

Wokeness killed marvel.
nah, people got bored consuming same product as time goes by. that’s the law of nature..
You can have inclusivity and still be good. The problem is marvel wrote it horribly which ends up backfiring in the minorities they try to represent which hurt them in the future. Marvel just doesn’t know how to make good movies these days it seems. Their bad inclusivity is just one problem of many that marvel put on themselves
@@Зеленский-ь6ь nahh, people gets bored when quality is reduced and same moviemaking atmosphere and cinematography is lost and exchanged with other purposes like quantity profit and social message focus than making good story and good visuals and consistency
@@eduardomoralesgarcia The way they do inclusion is the problem. Inlusion shouldnt be done by discluding the old one or replacing old one , then it offends the old side, if they want inclusion they should make new characters but let old characters stay as wll. So, They should do inclusion without making anyone notice, not by noticably changing Morph into something different or causing inequality by censoring females from male eyes while letting males be free for female eyes. There should be equality rather than dominance, so it wont offend majorities as well. If they try to make one dominate other one, then it will create more issue and quarrels than peace. They should put equal weight and fairness.

Robert Downey Jr. is the reason for the MCU's rise and fall.
Only 1 movie was hit after endgame, Spiderman Noway-home
The biggest letdown I have from the MCU is as you mentioned “ quantity over quality “.
Once you kill off or age out your anchor characters, you have to develop the supporting characters further like you did with Falcon and Winter Soldier.
Spiderman can be the next gen leader but they screw it
He’s owned by Sony so that’s not possible at all at the moment
Comic book have been doing this for decades. After every big event, there's a cool down period where nothing interesting happen. Then they kinda reset and builds up to the next major event.
