Fun fact: when I played this game as a kid, I somehow managed to cheese most of the bosses by getting them stuck on a wall and killing them with the long range special abilities.
I thought this was the only version of Lego Star Wars when I was a kid, years later a friend mentioned playing the game and customizing characters and it blew my mind that there was a console version and I was playing a tiny portion of the real game
It’s baffling that they went with so many Attack of the Clones appearances. Like, you’d think Lego would want them to use the Revenge of the Sith looks to help sell their Revenge of the Sith sets.
@@BaneShake I'm a year late for this; but I wonder if this is something to do with the games not just releasing in close proximity to RotS, but *BEFORE* RotS.
@@imlegos2153 this most likely. Star wars republic commando had a similiar situation. at least 1 of the 3 Major levels in that game should feature Phase 2 clone troopers, but becasue the game released a whole 2 months before the movies came out, it didnt have the updated models for the clone troopers it seems. What is DOUBLE FUNNY because Star Wars republic commando was specifically advertised as having a "sneak peak" at Episode 3 content via kashyyk i imagine TT games got a lot of concept art and in production reference images or even prototype models for the Main console versions, but the subcontracted Studio for the handheld ports most likely didnt
I have played this game. It's decent for a GBA Lego game. One thing, I think the game has some weird bug that doesn't allow you to 100% it. Like I've done everything and unlocked everything, but I am just stuck at 99%. Someone else has the same issue from what I can tell, so I guess it's broken.
Hey this is my first video I have seen of yours it’s been released a month ago but I just want to give you some constructive criticism and that is more music in your video besides one track I’m pretty sure the music in undertale and video game music in general obviously there are exceptions you should probably try Games from the SNES era is basically free to use and example of how changing at the music would help is at 4:57 to 5:17 try putting in a song that conveys the horror of war and then have it cut back to the song before 4:57
Thank you, feedback is always welcome! Preexisting music is tricky, because a lot of game music will be fine, but occasionally the music copyright holder has it set so they get all ad revenue if you use their music in a video. I definitely agree, looking at the timecodes, emphasizing the horror of war could’ve worked extremely well!
seeing the "cutscenes" and "dialogue" makes me feel like I am carsick on the way to the dentist, a strange comfortable nausea. The pixel-perfect jumping for R2-D2 makes me remember what my moms old car used to smell like
I was very very young when I played this game, and it was one of the games I played frequently since I owned so few, and I guess I played them before I could describe emotions, so instead of nostalgia I feel old sensations
@@Travis_DeGee I see! If it was the Original Trilogy on Game Boy, you had a MUCH better game than this one. I haven't covered that one on my channel yet.
@BaneShake haha yeah I wouldn't say it was much better lol edit: oh shit you're the guy who made the video lmao you're funny af can't wait to see the ot video!
I never owned this one but I had friends that did & I’ve always thought it was of the worst ports ever, this was such a strange one! Just so lazy, odd & lackluster. The incorrect sprite designs of the characters were always so weird to me, they basically describe the game in a nutshell. The still images too, oh man… I understand the limitations of the hardware, but c’mon. 😂

I respect it! That happened to me with Count Dooku when I covered the Game Boy Lego Star Wars port here on my channel.
For R2-D2 and R4-P17’s mines to explode manually rather than waiting several seconds you have to press the L button.
Good information. Thanks!
This was defiantly a weird one. Great job covering it.
for a gameboy advance game though, it looks pretty decent.
Visually, it's really not bad at all. It's leaps and bounds better looking than a lot of games that went for this style.

How tf is the quality this good. Props to you
Attack of the clones barely has any levels
YET THEY STILL DECIDED TO HAVE ANAKIN AND PADME USE THEIR ATTACK OF THE CLONES APPEARANCES

I have hundreds of hours on Lego Star Wars 2 for GBA.
i loved this game personally
I’m glad you got enjoyment out of it!
You should review the original trilogy game boy port next
I'm absolutely coming back to it at some point here!
Might have really been useful for qui-gon!
But then, Force healing would've been useful for Obi-Wan to use after Qui-Gon's death lol
you notice in the lego star wars the videogame gameboy advance version obi wan is young not old
I hope you also do the lego original trilogy for Gameboy advance. Great video dude, you just found a new subscriber.
Thank you! I actually might here at some point. I played the first level to see how it handles, and it is such a massive improvement in several ways.

Oh no! That is an awful discovery, especially to discover at the end of the process.
Freud would like a chat with you
This should be viral

For those wondering how useless the reward is: getting all the death star plans gives you a code that makes, like, 10 studs appear.
I had this game as a kid, I was so young, seeing it again feels... chewy??
Honestly, that’s a fascinating reaction. Care to describe further?

This game was a nightmare for me as a child
It’s still randomly hard for me in places as a grown and experienced adult
I had a different version as a kid lol
Did you have the "real" version?
