Super Nintendo Multi Cart With 800 Games + Add Your Own to Micro SD!

- I have not had a whole lot of long term luck with Super Nintendo multi-carts over the years: They tend to fail right when I need them, which is a definite downer. Of course that does not stop me from buying them, because what would be the fun in that? That said this multi-cart has some great features including a (somewhat painful) save game feature and the ability to add your own games so it might just be worth your time to check out, even though it does not play SuperFX games and it's really just a Super Everdrive clone.

Quick note that I do NOT think this supports superFX games -- I tested StarFox and it does not appear to work -- let me know what you all find...
Can you recommend a Castlevania plug and play Emulator or Cart. I am not very computer savvy, and would simply like to play some of the DS and Gameboy games on my TV. Thanks You.
You're right. SuperFX is not supported. It works in all SFC and SNES consoles.
is obvlious is a chinesse and cheaper flash cart just simple games not fx
I actually have issues with multiple games - tried to copy the entire collection because some games were missing and on some games don't start with a message "game not supported" or something like that, any idea why?
@@cristimarama The cart supports all regions (PAL/US/JAP), and can play all games (ROMs), it can fit in any Super Nintendo, but the console itself needs to be region modded to play ROMs from other regions. So just stick to games from your region and they'll work (not including SuperFXchip games).
I found an SNES in the trash with a broken power port, took one off an old router and soldered that to the board, and now I'm just using a universal power adapter. Bought a couple of mint used Super Famicom controllers from Japan for like $30 total, bought one of these 800 in 1 carts, and I'm golden. Less than $60 and I can play (almost) any SNES or SFC game I want. Not bad.
That is good recycling!
Getting your vids on a Saturday morning is like Saturday morning cartoons🤜💥🤛
Ha! Thanks!
Whenever I buy anything that emulates and or plays retro games, it better have at least one SD card slot or I am disinterested. I like how you proved that the save state works as that is important. Cool video. Peace!
Imagine this crazy Witchery in the 90’s? I would never leave home.
Agree!
I know each game on that list was worth £40 on average
dudes was rom dumping on the net back then, and you could get a flash card where you could reprogram the rom file to which game you want,or a floppy add on it was poss but you needed hardware and it was not as quick and simple as this lol
I have to say, this is the first time watching a video in all of my life I burst out laughing in the first 2 seconds of it.
I aim for that!
Been game console collecting off & on for many years, and after about 5 years of not collecting, scored a yellowed, cracked SNES console for 40$ and I'm gonna restore it & get a flash cart this time.
It's amazing to see guys like the AVGN have access to literally any classic game in a library which takes up a whole room, yet that whole room can fit into one cartridge.
rom folders aint cool to look at though nor are worth anything and lastly...you dont appreciate them, when you own a cart you appreciate the game for what it is,i call it the netflix effect, when you have so much choice you spend more time looking at what to watch than actually playing anything lol
Interesting was thinking of getting one of these. Have you tried any Translations games or Homebrew games ?
Dude you are from franskville? I'm from oak creek area, small world. Love the video!
It's crazy sometime it feels like the only thing that held a lot of games back in the day back was just memory and storage.
That was the main limitation back then. It forced developers to be creative with what they had, though. This, ironically, probably gave us more quality games than had memory been cheaper to add to cartridges.
Lamborghini American Challenge oh man. I played this one on PC, but yea it probably was on Amiga too. Great Racer!
Wow good find.
Instantly liked for “I’mma gonna sue!” Lol
Does the save work for each game or will it overwrite the 1 save so its only 1 save total for the cart?
I just got myself one of these too and it didn't come with super Mario kart, top gear 3000, or super Mario world Yoshi's island. So I added them but none of them will load. Any work arounds?
Great video sir. TIP: ALWAYS clean edge connectors with windex and a piece of one of those magic erasers. I saw NBA GIVE N GO. was wondering if u could do a review of that title one day. 🤙🏾💯
I am really not a multicart fan, but i love translucent plastic shells 😆
They are super useful at shows, etc. But those have not been happening the last year or so Im sad to say.
Why don't you like multicarts?
@@twizz420 I prefer flash carts i can fill with my own games and often multicarts are not saving correctly
Nice, impressive! Price point?
Can you add certain games to another SD card (like all the sports games for example) and it work?
Did you happen to check any other enhancement chip dependent games? Mario RPG, Kirby, Megaman X3(CX-4), Or any of the various DSP-series games (pilotwings, mario kart, and top gear 3000 come to mind first). Street Fighter Alpha 2 runs an S-DD1 chip, as well.
Does not support DSP
@@WoahBoomshakalaka Yeah, I actually ended up picking one of these up, and it pretty much came with every compatible game pre-loaded onto an SD already. I appreciate the clarification, though!
@@WoahBoomshakalaka Guess that's why Mario Kart isn't running for me... Also couldn't get Yoshi's island working either, not sure if that's another enhancement chip game. I assumed it would work since SMW 1 worked...
Where can I pick this up ?
I just bought a 101-in-1 cartridge, but I wish I saw this first.
does this save to the sd card or to battery save? if it is battery save would you know if i could use my emulator saves with it? great video by the way
Saves to SD
I forgot how loud the SNES cartridge loading is, it sounds like you’re opening/closing a file cabinet.
Agree. It's kind of satisfying though....
I bought a game like this and it's 900 in 1 and it won't play anything except one game can you help me?
I wish these supported SuperFX, SA-1 or any other expansion chips. It seems to have support for the DSP-1, but that's it. There's an Altera FPGA on board, I wonder if there is a firmware update or a hacked firmware that could allow utilizing it?
I think, to make one they would need a clone chip in the cartridge because the fx chip games needed more vram than the console could provide.
@@shoot_the_glass5654 That's something that could be done within the FPGA though, no? Or is it literally a matter of physical memory on the cartridge not being available?
Really for less than 40$ usd still dreaming
this is a great cart, but i can not figure out where to get the games or how to add them on to this? i want super mario cart to add on to it, but i am unsure how to do this. please help on where i can dl games and put them on? also can you put games from other systems onto it to work... like pitfall from atari? thank you
Picked this cart awhile ago, great cart for such a cheap price!
Especially compared to the other options like SD2SNES and Super Everdrive.
Does it play on the retron 2 hd?
@@garyfosterii6421 i only played it on real hardware and the super NT
@@yiorgo187 Thanks for the reply, and I did check. They are compatible. There's only a handful of titles on that specific cartridge that needs to be played on the ACTUAL NES SYSTEM FOR PROPER GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE! (MEANING: BATTLETOADS PROPER LEVEL LOADING AND GAME SPEED/GAMEPLAY.) I am sold! I can sacrifice a handful of RPG GAMES! For Golgo 13, Dick Tracy, Punch Out, ETC!!!
@@garyfosterii6421 nes games? I thought this was for the snes flash cart lol
Damn I got this strictly for Mario RPG. Big fail because from what I'm reading it's not possible to get working?
There is any differences between this games and the orginial cartridge games? There is any lag, graphical gltiches, sound issues, etc?
Nothing
Technology has gone a long way
Do games with fx chips work?
Is there an nes version of this where you can add a micro SD card?
Where can I purchase this cartridge at I'm looking for the exact same one you have on your video thanks.
I know this video is year old...but I am curious if you can delete roms. Like all those sport games or region games I don't care about. Could they be removed?
Of course
Is it possible to upgrade the firmware of this?
I have one of These and task on greed Baar after load game . How to resolve this ?
That intro 😂😭
Now thats a fucking...GAME GENI
Does someone here please know how to make it read .smc instead of .sfc? When I try to load a .smc tells me theres a problem of the headers. Thanks
Will this work on my fc twin console. I hope it does
It's working by itself or you must have a moded SNES?
Standard SNES.
@@Retr0Rob thanks mate.
how many free space left ? when is new ?
Its worth it to have all the snes and sfc
Where can you buy this cartridge?
I've got a pal system and can confirm it works
THANK YOU!
Do you know where to get the SD files. Or can you let me hold the files, my SD card corrupted.
Ask in all Chanel’s or videos jaj I saw here in RUclips a guy who’s upload his backup
how much SRAM is on the cart?
did someone try donkey kong country 2 !!! and starfox and mariokart not found and if you found it they dont work !!!!
I need one where can I order from
I bought a snes multicart with 100 games... Red version.. but it does not fit into the console :( ...
Hi kurt, can we play a game or something? Or super mario world oui u or make a new game system? Or have pizza?
Where can I get this?
where can i buy it?
How to change to 4:3 full aspect ratio on my crt shows in 16:9
Most TV's have a setting to adjust it. My HDMI upscaler has a switch on it that does this as well.
This is a clone of the Super Everdrive V1. The same company also makes a clone of the Super Everdrive V2 which has faster loading and supports DSP-chip games. They also have a clone of the SD2SNES which is the best one but expensive; all roms load instantly and works with MSU-1 hacks, Super Game Boy 2 and firmware updates.
What is the name of the company?
@@8bitsloth KY Tecnology
How did you get it to save?
It only saves if the game originally supported saving. If it did saves work just as they did on the original cart. Hope that helps!
Parodius is on uk super nintendo. Also, the cart has Thomas the tank engine. Sold!
i trying to find the list game and nothing i just want add skyblazer and some hack roms and patched roms , rpg japon games in english
Buenas tardes, que tal funciona project Nested?
Hi nice video. Thnaks for sharing. Can you share a link 🔗 for the cart pls
Sure! www.ebay.com/itm/Retro-800-in-1-Game-Card-Cartridge-For-Nintendo-SNES-16-Bit-Console-USA-Global/353210218299
Thank you!
Get an FXPAK Pro from Stone Age Gamer and you will never need another SNES flash cart. Yes, they are expensive but well worth the price.
Are you telling me i can buy this and play with my original snes??
Yup. it does work with a stock SNES
You should've tested F-Zero, Doom, and Star Fox.
NVM I read what you said above.
Still dreaming for 40$ usd or least , you want run fx games 😂
Can anyone pls give me a link for that? I need that
is there a way to reset the Cartridge with the controller?
Making myself the same question. Anyone??
There's a way to fix reset button
i have probleme sir i reset the consol before rom loading and carddige can't run again
please help me
opps i wil try to make a backup with a better sd memory because it came with chineses sd
I could not run street fighter alpha 2 with this device. What would be the reason?
It might use a chip that is not supported in this.
It uses a chip only yelled for that one game.... It's a horrible version of the game anyway...lol
@@jameshumphrey7463 exactly, if they want to play the best street fighter alpha 2 on a game console, they better play the ps1 or the sega saturn version. the snes version is barely playable.
need more good coveragew of the affordable carts
- I didn't find DK 2 European version.
- I tested DK 2 and 3 USA version and I became this message: this game pack is not designed for your super favicon or super nes.
I thought it's region free
Créate. A file and download the rom
Can anyone confirm Pal compatibility
I've got a pal system, if you want to post me the cartridge I'll test it 😁
😎.
Any link to the cart?
I think you can still get them at AliExpress...
How about star fox?
As I recall these do not support SuperFX games.
@@Retr0Rob nooo 😭
Yoshi's island and star fox?
As it's based on the Super Everdrive I don't think Super FX games will play on it.
@@Retr0Rob i guessed it.
Tks for the reply.
The eroupean amd pal snes games only work with the eroupean pal snes it runs at 60 herts the north American snes games works on the nintendo super famicom just use a snes game genie vice versa same for the Japanese super famicom games to play on a snes
So it's a knock off Chinese everdrive
Actually this thing is garbage! I picked the wrong game I reseted it and bricked the cartridge.
Sd2snes its bether than this card ..
of course sd2snes is better as its more expensive. have some common sense.
No Aero Fighters or Dragon Quest games, but it has Bebe's Kids?
Hard pass. 😖
You can add any game you would like to it...
If that's enough to make you say "Hard pass," you're setting your standards unreasonably high. Besides, it has other games besides Bebe's Kids. Hell, it has 800 games, so there's BOUND to be something you like. And as Retr0rob said, you can add any game you want. With this cartridge, you may never have to buy another SNES game again.
Where can I pick this up ?
I just bought a 101-in-1 cartridge, but I wish I saw this first.
