      All throughout this trial they’ve tried to play a lot of dirty tricks. Misstating factual evidence, trying to squeeze in surprise and irrelevant things, trying to backdoor court orders… Let’s just put it this way, the judge certainly has more patience than I could ever have.

    WARNING: anyone who ever goes before the Honorable Judge Dorow better think twice before you try to get one over on her. This is the most thorough Judge I’ve ever seen. She had 9 large yellow notepads for the Brooks case alone. She takes notes on notes. When the Defense tried that slick move and she swiftly moved the jury and pulled out her notepad, I knew they were done. Dorow will make a note of anything out of line and get it on the record so no one can say something shady was done. She is not one to play with.

    Y’know, the female defense atty has pushed the judge’s buttons a few times and have made reference to DB’s trial more than once. Perhaps she is attempting to find ways to get appellate possibilities by way of calling into question the judge’s integrity and possible bias in the record by antagonizing the judge.

    • @miriamc1718
      @miriamc1718 5 месяцев назад +3

      This is the 1st part I have watched on this case. I can’t believe she made reference to DB’s trial 😮 Could you please let me know when she did it as I would really like to see it! Thanks so much 😀

    • @Bozbaby103
      @Bozbaby103 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@miriamc1718 Just before jury selection at the very beginning of the trial. The final pre-trial hearing. It’s about two hours long. She references his trial about getting that same courtroom (Dorow’s usual courtroom isn’t the one we saw in his trial and this one, though the pretrial hearings were in her normal courtroom. You’ll see), the same amount of tables, technology capabilities, etc. She doesn’t come out and say his name, but EVERYone knew what she meant. It seemed like she wanted to have the same level? importance? as his trial. I’m speculating, but her demeanor and inferences push me in that direction.
      I try not to be like most of the commenters who think the worst and say harsh things about whatever may be going on; I try to see things with an even keel, so the above is meant as unbiased as I could. I don’t like the lady defense atty, but I can’t fault her for doing what she can for her client, even if it is shady.
      I said in my original comment “more than once”, but all but the one I mentioned in this comment (pretrial hearing) it is more subtle at DB references. Because his trial was streamed and drew a LOT of attention, we got to see Judge Dorow doing her thing, including how to push her buttons. Many attys will do whatever it takes legally to help their client, especially if all the evidence screams guilty such as this trial, and it is not inconceivable that an atty would piss off the judge or other side’s atty(s) to cause reasons for appeal and/or for a mistrial.
      I have not watched this whole trial, but it would NOT surprise me if she has made other inferences to DBs case/trial, including casting shade at the State, which she has. She’s certainly done it to the judge as we’ve seen in this video. She is using DBs trial as a tool to help her every way she can…legally.
      Side note: she tried to tell the judge how to run her courtroom/trial in the pretrial hearing. (Yes, this is a petty dig on my part, but no less true.)
