Do you like these Locomotive Starts ?
yeah
Yes🤤
Cars and Engines yes
It's ok it just a generator tho🤷♂️
I would strongly think that if somebody is watching this video they like the starts? Kind of a dumb question!
I love all that diesel rattle and huge plumes of smoke!
Volkswagen take note.
This is what you need to aim for.
Aahahahahah
Hahhahahhahahaha🤣🤣🤣

That class 41 the driver's just vaping! Lol! Great video!
Got to love EE Starts , 1 Cylinder at a time 😀👍🏻
Wow, that Class 17 sounds cool!
The Claytons were not successful in British Rail service, but they had two engines instead of just one. Strangely, a handful of Claytons were sold to industrial railways in the UK that had much greater success with them. Go figure that one out.
Love these locomotives cold start outside temperature below 20s awesome video bless you happy new year 2020
You got to love them big engine's busting off.nothing but raw power.the exhaust smell is great on a cold morning.nobody knows there girls better than the engineer.
4:18 sounds cool!!
Wow that class 17 sounded like a buzz saw beehive combined
Anyone seen Greta Thurnberg's angry face in the smoke?
Yes I do
every clip is ending bevor the lok starting right now bruh
Brilliant, better than any AMSR
That class 37 sounded pissed about being awoken from slumber, my favourite loco though.
The class 31289 sounded like it got up and started raving
A premium video. 💙 T.E.N.
Knock Knock - Who's There? - Your Diesel on a Cold Morning.
The Br Class 20 were used on passenger trains occasionally - from London down to Uckfield and East Grinstead at the head of 8 coach(!) "Oxsted" sets - this was discontinued in the early 70's, on Glasgow - Ayr (sometimes to the holiday camp at Heads of Ayr that closed in the mid-60's) fill-in runs up to the early 70's again, and, most famously the Burton-upon-Trent/Derby/Leicester/Sheffield - Skegness "Summer Saturday" trains that continued well into the 90's. All these turns were rostered for 2 Class 20's, but the "Oxsted" services were notorious for having only one Class 20 on occasions - hence my exclamation mark!
1 Video super
Love the sound of those deltic engines
But... there wasn't a Deltic featured in the video??
Nope!@@jackmarshallD9525
HoW DaRe yOu

Great video 👍 greeting from Indonesia 🇲🇨

Greta better not see this ,how dare you 😂
Wonderful sounds.....thanks for sharing
50035 Ark Royal, sounds like something you'd land a Harrier on?
Brits seem to be better at cold starting diesel engines than us Americans are
Their power plants aren't near as large, there for are easier to start. Plus, most places in the UK don't get as cold as places in the US.Might, have something to do with it. I've had friends from UK and they were horrified at the winter temps here in North Western Missouri.
Greta didn't like it.
I like it so much more. Thanks for sharing.
Who da fuq is greta
@@chanakyasinha8046 she's a prop of the global warming crowd who is accusing everyone that produced anything that they have stolen her childhood. "How dare you".
The sound of the Class 41 locomotive is the same as that of the Hungarian M41. At first I thought I was using a French SEMT Pielstick engine. Because of his voice, the Hungarian machine is called a Rattle. It is worth finding the Hungarian M43-M47 types, how they start! These locomotives were manufactured by Romania under a German-Austrian license. The "goat shepherds" could not produce quality, there were quite a few problems with them!
Good movie. Choo choo 🚂🚋🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃
2:05 That one sounds like a washing machine with a bunch of bricks in it on the spin cycle. 😂
2 of them only ever produced, sounds like a nice washing machine full of bricks to me!
Yes, the glory that is the Paxman Valenta engine! Pity we didn't get to the point where you'd have heard the legendary "Valenta Scream"!
That thumbnail was taken on E Front St in KCMO just east of N Kansas Ave
Drove by there every day for the last two weeks, taking beans to the biodiesel plant by the paseo bridge! That's the fuel stand!!
Thumbs up
3:00 he’s bound to have teething troubles -Sir Topham Hatt
The first won is greatest
i like the sound of a big deasiel motor for real
Those class 37's sound NASTY. they sound angry and amazing
Are these the Volkswagen tests for the chips that regulate the emissions? It looks good, so that the climate goals can be achieved.👍👍👍😁😁😁🙈🙈🙈
Ekolog gon ich na rowerze 😁😁
Was waiting for a bass drop at 4:20
Thunberg class locomotives
Train upgrades will be good most every year manually new engine an have something going on too
?
2.18 is a class 43 prototype HST I believe.
Yes it is.
Yes that's great wonderful video 👍👍👍 this is good for greta😜 powerful 😁
The death rattle always sounds terminal😀
First one Seems at Rushden Transport Museum.
Rolling some serious coal
question to you Locomotive guys, from the point that one of these engines starts how do you warm up the engine enough to put a load to it? How long does the engine have to sit and idle till its ready to be put to work?
I'm no expert by any means, but I'd say about an hour and a half or so.
And another fine example of how the railway industry has strived , tirelessly in reducing harmful emissions......well done.😆😾
Караул какой-то! В какой стране третьего мира это снято?
Поехавшие тепловозы
And I thought it was British cars that were hard to start when it was cold.
Alle sind nach Norm EURO 6 dtemp
CSX doesn't shut off train engines if it's going to be below 50 degrees
And I thought that steam locos do smoke. Do these use wrong type of diesel (summer quality) or why?
Thats unburnt fuel
This Is because compression pressure Is low, check injectors needle AND Spring. Check the compression rings AND if any locomotoves has turbo CHARGER uninassembly AND check o.rings, bearins AND the Shaft that rotate free,AND Is hard to rotate, may check the bearins, carbón particñes,etc.
The clag Is gas oil "x
spray
Preheated engine, no excessive smoke and an engine damage due to temperature differences.
do all of them have preheater ?
the old deltic engines.
No Deltics appeared on this video. They usually started very quickly, and being two strokes smoked a lot especially after being left idling for a while due to lub oil carry over into the exhaust. No 'chugg' from a Deltic, too many cylinders firing too often.
Der bekommt den Diesel und die E Motoren nicht zum starten.Alles Amateure?
3:38 excellent.sure 2T engine
Love trains, But would not like to live ANYWHERE near these things idling or near a Train Yard. The smoke would kill you. Imagine trying to play in your yard and one of these things were idling or worse starting up near you. NG!!!!
It’s oh most if there like steamers

0:54 it's Brewster from Chuggington
How can that be if he has an American horn?
นึกว่ามีแต่ไทยที่อื่นก็มีปูโลท้ง

Why so much white smoke?
Crazy cold? Lol, say hello 2 Russian Siberia with -35-50
As a qualified mechanic I have never felt so frustrated watching these engines start. I just keep feeling these engines and fuel systems are either poorly maintained or poorly designed, possibly both.
@B Rad Doesn't matter. Automotive dieselengines are the same way if you roll-start them without glowplugs...
i swear these titles sound like you ran out of title ideas like you couldn't had just named it "locomotive cold start compilation"
it's not cold...
Утиль подзаборный
Und ich soll in Deutschland ein E-Auto fahren, ihr könnt mich mal.
Bang goes the ozone layer!
smoke much? i think so.
Between poor design and even poorer maintenance diesel engines were colossal polluters which can be seen from those exhausts. Finally technology is catching up and burns better, but those old ones are disasters
2,3,4,5,8 poor maintenance
Quick show this video to greta she'll have a fainting fit and then maybe we won't hear any more from her
And they complained about smoke in the days the steam......irony at it's finest LMAO!
HOW DARE YOU!

I no buy chi Co
Locomotive Engine needs fixing whenever it's dose that
Timothy Marks it’s pretty normal for them to do this.
Diezel no good
I'm sure these diesels create more pollution than steam engines (air & noise) !
Jonathan Hall no way
Nah
You are right, but these cold diesels do create a lot of smoke and noise !
Yes I agree but I am glad that my car doesn't start like that !
Both steams and diesels create pollution .
Global warming
Damian Nowicki it’s not even warm air, it’s just cold fuel hitting cold cylinders
@@6.7ryan87 You must read about global warming, warm air has nothing to do with it
Damian Nowicki your a pussy GlObAl WaRmInG stfu. How else are they gonna make money you dumbshit
@@rc4life445 yes because it's all about making money. Who cares if the world is survivable or not.
that new so called hst is the ugliest thing ive ever seen
That is pretty awful
What pollution! A German Diesel starts in seconds
I bet the old ones still take a minute to cold start. New ones, too. I don't care how new and efficient it is, it will still take a minute to make the diesel engine start firing, right.
what a cancer pollution
As cool as these engines are they need to be scraped
*No*
