I REALLY didn't like this movie when I first watched it. I was viewing it with the expectation of it being a straight forward revenge film where Ryan Gosling beats people up and kills them like John Wick mixed with Driver. After rewatching it two more times I wanted to slap past self for looking down on this movie. It was a really risky movie to make and I greatly appreciated a large amount of the technical and artistic elements. Even though the characters and story struggle compared to Drive, I greatly appreciated the movie overall. A great film.
Not techno music but the subtle slow up tempo beats get it right.

It depends if a music from the movie fit with what i want to show. Sometimes using another song is better (like this video), sometimes the choice is obviously a music from the movie
