    Man, I love this hot rodding approach that is sorting out stuff as you go and combine parts what you have from mk1 and from TT. 👌.not scratching your had in front of CAD software and 3D printer and overthinking everything.. great job!!

      Thanks for watching 😁 it comes from not having an open cheque book budget on my own builds, make the best of what you already have!

      We have got a tin bottom tt sump to go on, it'll be a bit more resilient than the cast alloy

    Great seeing all the work going into a build but it seems alot people does the engin swops but there never anything how to stop these cars...meaning break upgrades and options... love to see more

    • @SuperRon

      @SuperRon Great. Please dont skip important part....easy to fit the Golf 2 Gti rear parts but nothing shown on how to prevent a 180 turn since the back tends to lock up under hard breaking😢

    Are you going to be chopping the rain tray out for this one? And are you going to be doing anything about correcting bump steer and getting the arms back to a sensible angle? These don’t drive very well once the lower arms start pointing upwards! 😅

    • @SuperRon
      @SuperRon  6 месяцев назад +1

      No the rain tray is staying on this one to keep it on the practical side, cool air for the blowers and screen drainage. Yes we have ball joint raisers and flipped trackrods to go on, all in a future episode 😁

      @@SuperRon excellent. I’m eagerly awaiting those. So many ways of doing it out there, I’ve not pulled the trigger. Running my caddy on BC ultra lows and I would love to get the geo a bit better! 😂

    Hi , will you be fitting a sump gard because how low the engine sits, even at standard ride height? As think it would bottom out on speed bumps and curbs on british Street.

    • @SuperRon
      @SuperRon  6 месяцев назад +1

      They are very vulnerable on these, theres a few options of shallow sump, and a tt one has a metal lower so it wont crack like a alloy one will. Thanks for watching 😁
