Oh I’m so happy you are making a change that will enhance your life! ❤️ your projects! You inspire me! I’m working on lots of things… a crochet blanket, the new sock cuff patterns by Summer Lee, the Brume top by Andrea Mowry to name a few!
I love the new sock cuff patterns from Summer Lee! I really want to make those, but I haven't done much colorwork yet so I was a little intimidated. Definitely on my list though 😁
Hi Bonnie, I love your videos. I have not commented much lately, but have watched all your episodes. Congratulations on your Master's Program. It sounds exciting. I also have a degree in Sciences and then made a career change. I love knitting socks, but currently I am busy with a crocheted blanket. It's a kit from Blankets for Africa.
Hi Bonnie! Congratulations on your new adventure. I hope it’s everything you want it to be. I love your Knus Light. I’m also working on that top but it hasn’t been as straightforward as I hoped it would be. I’m very full-breasted so I made the back a size smaller than the front and also added short rows in the front. Lots of math involved; fortunately I was a math teacher! I’m making it with 3/4 sleeves. My goal is to wear it to Rhinebeck. Happy knitting!
I am not a summer person, really do not like the hot weather. Nice to find a kindred soul. Hand me the wool sweaters and I am so happy and feel so cozy
Hi Bonnie. Congrats on your Masters in an area of joy for you. Wow, yes the knitting seems to settle me into a state of easier listening and learning too. Loved your wips. I will be following your advice on the first socks route - thanks. For me, knitting on a mid grey possum merino cardigan. Home cardigan Lite by Caidree. and starting Versal jersey in gorgeous chocolate brown merino dk w added dusky mid blue alpaca Folgetrad. Nice combo - brown w flecks of earthy blue....yum. 🥰🙏
Wow, my son has his PhD in physics. That is interesting that you will be leaving your physics job and starting a new career, good luck with that. I do enjoy your podcast and always look forward to when you publish a new episode. I am working on Christmas gifts for my family, always knitting for my family, very rarely knit for myself. But then I do have a lot of socks that I have knit for myself, so don’t completely leave me out when I knit. I am retired, so knitting is now my full time job 🤣, not really a job, just enjoy it so much and it’s nice I can do things for others. Love your podcast. Th k you for your time and efforts to share with all,of us.
Congratulations on starting your masters program. Your knits are beautiful. I have at least 4 projects I want to cast on for Fall but am determined to finish some summer tanks first.
Congrats on going back to school! I'm currently working on a hat that is a gift for a very good friend of mine while watching your video as I work night watch.
Thank you! A hat sounds like a great idea. You'll have it ready when you need it but don't have to have a whole sweater in you lap while its still so hot 🧶
Hi. I cannot wait for fall either. Congrats on the career change and starting your Masters. I think you said library science. I worked in a library for a while and enjoyed it. All the books! Right? I am knitting on some alpaca socks in black on dpns. Definitely a winter knit. I need extra light to see the stitches. Happy Knitting ❤
Definitely excited about all the books! I also just really wanted a career that let me be a more positive force within the community and libraries definitely fit that bill for me. Those socks sound like they are going to be fantastic! am so here for fall and winter knits.
Hi Bonnie. I’ve started the Malabrigo KAL Lehigh Shawl. When I’m finished, I want to cast on the Friendship Shawl which was Malabrigo’s spring KAL. My very first shawl I knitted was Close To You, and I was looking for it when packing for a trip - but it’s MIA. What’s a girl to do but knit more shawls??? Right? Love your plans to obtain a masters degree.

Thank you! It was a big decision to change paths and pursue something new, but I'm hoping it will be the right choice. Good luck with your blanket!

I so jealous of your wips! I’m still impatiently waiting for my suri silk arrival 😅
I was actually going to ask you about that today. Did they give you any kind of ETA? I’m just so excited to see how the yarns look together
@@AKnitterObsessed yes shipping 9/3 🙌🏻
I don’t want to wait that long and it’s not even my yarn hahahaha 😂 it’s going to look so good!
