Hi! I arrived in Seattle yesterday and spent today on Bainbridge Island visiting the Lamb & Kid and La Mercerie. I bought something from both but was pretty restrained. At Lamb & Kid I bought their custom Spincycle yarn - so pretty. If I see you at Flock, I'll say hello!
Have fun at Flock! My next plans include a stripe hype sweater and an april caridgan. Both totaly new to me designers as I'm still pretty new to knitting garments. Cant wait to finish some sommer knitting to have some space on my needles to cast these porjects on.
Have a great time at Flock. There are a lot of patterns coming out with the Lento gauge. Another one that’s already published is the Cognac. I think Tori Yu and Aimee Sher have ones in testing. I’m currently knitting the California sweater at that gauge. I knit the Lento last year with a cream fingering and a variegated mohair. I love it. It looks like water colors. I went to Rhinebeck last year with specific plans. Currently I only have one SQ worth of yarn left so I must have planned well. Flock will be so fun for you. 😃
Wow, I love the Cognac so much! That may have just rocketed to the top of my list. And I like the idea of possibly doing a variegated mohair. I really like that effect in sweaters.
I went to Flock last year and had a great time. This year looks even better, but unfortunately I have to skip. I'm hoping to go next year! I think you have a great plan. Have fun!!
I am not going to Flock but maybe someday!! This year I've been focusing on knitting sweaters that fit me better as I think I have a pretty good grasp on my gauge and basic sweater math! I've completed 4 adult sweaters and 2 baby so far with 2.5 planned through the end of the year, and if I can swing it, maybe one more - or else it will be a New Year's Day cast on? I'm currently halfway through the Halibut sweater by Caitlin Hunter.
I’ll be volunteering at the Flock Merch booth on Sunday and would love to say hello. I just finished making the Mahina Cardigan and would love to make the Camelia Cardi you mentioned. I’ll be keeping my eye out for suri alpaca! Love your podcast 😊
Oh man, I’m not planning to go on Sunday otherwise I totally would have stopped by to say hello. The Mahina cardigan is gorgeous! I’ll have to add that pattern to my favorites 😊
Have a SUPER time! Cant wait to see and hear all about your adventure! Enjoy time with your friend!

Have a blast at Flock! Fiber festivals are so much fun. Looking forward to a recap once you return.
