    Another great episode Bonnie. It’s so nice that you’re now knitting garments. ❤

    Hi Bonnie. I watched both of your videos and enjoyed them. Your easy conversational style is a pleasure. You're doing great on your garment knitting journey. See you next time.

    Hi Bonnie! I enjoy your podcast. Your sweater is beautiful! I agree that making it longer would be beneficial. It’s not too difficult to undo the bind off and add length.

      I agree! Then you will love it, Bonnie! If you cannot get the exact dye lot, you can just fade the new one in by alternating rows for an inch or two. I am very glad I happened to see your first video. I am a subscriber now! You are a natural!

    I watched your first episode yesterday and now this one. My suggestion to your first sweater because I notice you still have enough yarn to work with is the lengthen it and or block it. Blocking is so magical that it might help the ease too. Another tip which I always do is cast on my project at home and then your good to go. Thanks for sharing and look forward to your next one.

    Love the sweaters and afghans. I think I will have to make the hat. I been searching for new hat patterns for Christmas gifts and haven’t seen these before. I am a crocheter and knitter so always love finding new people and projects to do. I also been trying to find yarn for the sweater on your first episode and thought it was neat you wanted to knit the same one. nice to have someone to talk knit with.

    I’m really enjoying your video podcasts! Great job on them and awesome job on your projects! I found myself laughing a little with some funny things you said ☺️ (which was much needed for me today!) Thank you! 💖🧶🥢

    I just found you last night while feverishly finishing up a pair of socks in time for my mom's birthday. As someone else said, you have a really enjoyable conversational style and I love your knits! I added the Boon Island hat to my cart on Ravelry. Knitting hats is a favorite of mine and I like the look of this one. I also have a bunch of single skeins of worsted weight yarn I'd like to use which is a win for this pattern. Looking forward to future videos.

    Hi Bonnie. My knitting journey is similar in that I’ve knitted for the past twenty years, but suddenly, about five years ago I became an obsessive knitter. Something just clicked and now I want to knit all the things everyday (never leave home without your knitting!). I’m glad that you got over your fear of garment knitting.

    Hi Bonnie! I really enjoyed watching your videos! I, myself, am a new knitter and an avid RUclips watcher to learn this new obsession I have (I have been a crocheter for about 40 years). Looking forward to watching more of you, your beautiful dogs, your projects and anything else you wish to share with us!

      That’s definitely on the to do list at some point. I’m just not looking forward to ripping out all the mohair so I’ve been putting it off. I’m hoping to have it fixed by next winter I think 😊

    • @jla110661

      @@AKnitterObsessed maybe just rip out the bind off and add more ribbing. Could also try the put it in the freezer first hack for mohair.

    OMG I wish my first sweater was that good (though to be fair I dived into a sweater as like the 3rd thing I'd ever knit haha). Those sleeves are amazing, and I do NOT think it looks too big. I actually think it being short enough to tuck in makes it look more purposefully/stylishly oversized.
    Off topic but...as a fellow curly girl can I ask howwww you get those curls so beautifully shiny?? :D

    • @AKnitterObsessed
      @AKnitterObsessed  7 месяцев назад

      Thank you! For the curls, I brush style my curls to get them to lay smoother and I use a little bit of a hard hold gel to add the shine. I mostly use a light hold gel because I like the feel of my hair better, but at the very end of my routine I glaze just a bit of the harder hold gel over everything and it makes a big difference. If I’m being reeeallly honest though, in this particular video my hair might have been just a touch greasy from a bit too much curl cream hahaha 😂

    Funny how we gravitate to a certain color. I do it all the time but when I go for a color that is not a gravitational pull, I am not so enthusiastic making it, usually becomes a project bag filler.

    • @AKnitterObsessed
      @AKnitterObsessed  7 месяцев назад

      That’s exactly what it is, a gravitational pull. It’s one of the reasons I love shopping for yarn in person if I’m able to. Staring at a big wall of yarn and seeing which colors draw you in is such a fun experience.

    I've knit in KfO merino and silk mohair and the sweater has been getting smaller. I thought I was going crazy but then I read comments people having the same experience. So maybe it just... shrinks. 🤷‍♀️

    You are doing great in your knitting. The sweater is wonderful on you BUT next time go with your gut. You gut was telling you right. You can make it longer but will you wear it out if it is longer? Your knitting is wonderful.
