You can sense an unspoken bond and love that Judy and Mickey had between them.

You couldn't miss that there was something there...sparks were flying...but neither ever had the courage to act on it. Deep down, they were in love with each other.

    Oh my goodness
knowing their story and their history, the hardships they'd gone through... this hauntingly beautiful performance made me cry... it is so profoundly sad.

i watched this episode of the Judy Garland show last night. So moving to see the real sense of affection between Judy and Mickey. I'm so glad they had this chance to pay tribute to each other and affectionately send up the movies they made together.

PURE GOLD. Can you imagine if Judy had been well and Mickey ended up doing “Sugar Babies” years later with her?? What dreams..!! ❤️

Loved them! Judy had a golden voice.. she and Streisand..
Sad she was so pressured by Hollywood producers about weight early in career, perhaps she would’ve been happier and lived a long life.

I've never experienced performances more charming than Mickey and Judy's in "How About You?" and "But Not for Me." And Mickey's rendition of "When I'm Not Near the Girl I Love" (also from this program) is the most touching you will ever see or hear. I agree: They were sent from heaven.

2 of the greatest performers of the 20th century. So glad we still have their movies and clips like this. My brother and I saw Mickey and his wife perform in the early 2000s and got to meet the man after the show. He was lovely and very gracious. Sadly, we were the youngest ones there by far and we weren't kids. Would have loved to see Judy perform, but I was only a kid when she died. RIP Judy and Mickey.

For both Judy and Mickey, this was an opportunity to remember a more innocent and eternally optimistic time in their teen years. While they're together here, it seems like they each became about 20 years younger.

I don’t think 🤔 it would’ve mattered if Judy would’ve married Mickey, the internal demons tortured 😖 her. She needed to work on her inner self, no man or object would of fulfilled her void. Back then they didn’t have the Betty Ford clinic etc, to help her with addiction. I’m not a physiatrist, but a lot of that crap 💩 stemmed from childhood and carried itself over to her adult life. All the people pleasing etc. Then she had people she trusted with her finances spent all her 💴. It was horrible what she endured all her life RIP Judy!!

Too bad, and tragically sad, that Mickey never thought Judy was 'glamorous' enough for him, always chasing other women. They could have been happy together.
