Mickey Rooney was undoubtedly one of the most successful actors of all time. He appeared in over 300 films, was the top box office draw from 1939 to 1941, and was one of the top-paid actors of his era. During the peak of his career between the age of 15 and 25, Rooney starred in 43 films.
Mickey Rooney not only had one of the most prolific acting careers in Hollywood throughout the nine decades that he was active, but he also had one wild life. He had dozens of affairs with some of the most famous women of his day, had one heck of a drinking problem, and ended up owing a lot of people money due to his rampant gambling addiction.
He was married eight times - with six of these marriages ending in divorce. But that shouldn't come as that big of a surprise considering his reputation of being an unapologetic womanizer. He lived fast, partied hard, and didn't seem to care about the consequences.
Ironically, most people's first thought when thinking about Mickey Rooney typically has something to do with his squeaky clean image as Andy Hardy - a character that he portrayed in 16 films between 1937 and 1946. But in reality, Rooney was nothing like Hardy. Ava Gardner, Rooney's first wife once said that he would go through women like a hot knife through fudge.
Join Facts Verse as we take a look at almost every woman - that we know of at least - that Mickey Rooney hooked up with before his death at the age of 93 in 2014.

Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland made such great movies together. It’s like a Time Machine back to the 1930s-40s it’s so sad how they were both forced to take performance drugs and Judy was put on strict diets.

Mickey Rooney & his wife Jan were neighbors of my wife's cousin in Westlake
Village, Calif. for years, until just before his death in 2014 & I've been by his home
there! I met & spoke to him in 1981, when he opened his fast-food restaurant
"Mickey Rooney's Wienie World",in Massapequa, NY! At 61, he was as
energetic as ever! He did "his own thing" all his life & still lived to 93! R.I.P. Mick!

Honestly if you took his situation and put it in today's world, some of the women that he was with on the side and people who knew about his other issues would've exposed him. It seems like the dirty info comes from uncontrollable third parties now a days. The internet makes exposing people so easy.

My grandfather, who just passed away at 80 years old, got my grandmother pregnant when he was 18. She was 14. My other grandmother married her first husband when she was 14 and he was in his 20s. I think teen girls were looked at as women back then. Most teens were married as teens and historically women marry older men.

Duuuuude, he’s dead. Don’t do this. He’s not here to defend himself. Let the man Rest In Peace.

Defend himself? He would probably proudly boast about all of this if he were still around.

@@jayhenderson8483 Clearly so. He was over-loaded with testosterone. That's apparently what they saw in him. As a screen actor, I regarded him as a pest.
