The Cheerleader challenge was due to the producers thinking cheerleading isn’t a difficult and physically demanding sport. They thought it would be easy for queens to do, not realizing that cheerleaders are trained athletes, not just girls in skirts.
I was one of the cheerleaders for powderpuff game (where the gender roles are reversed. The girls play football while the guys cheer and wear a skirt) and for the halftime show, we prepared between one to two months before the games to not only get the dance routine down but to do some “cheerleading” bits down and good. We had a cheerleader show us and teach us and it took more than one day or three days to even get any basic cheerleading thing down. So like you said, it’s much more difficult if they wanted to do some tricks.
This seems like an incredibly ignorant belief to have for longer than 5 seconds. How there was nobody during the process that would've remembered the factoid of "cheerleading is one of the most dangerous sports" or even googled it is beyond me.
I also noticed that I don’t think they had the right type of shoes to do cheerleading for stunts. Because majority of the time they have almost like a curve on them so whenever you hold them in the stunt, your hand can easily grab them up instead of them being as a flat shoe.
If the cheer challenge was in S15, Jax would’ve ATE that challenge since Ajax was a competition cheerleader
Was that not the episode Charlie hides left? Ppl gave her such a hard time for the lip sync but she was clearly hurt 😢
I constantly think about Trixie and Dela talking about how much Bebe got into the soup can idea, down to her even coming up with actual ingredients and prep for the soup which was not a part of the challenge at all 😂
this is bebe's world and we're just living in it
On the subject of the Pink Table Talk, I’m really surprised you didn’t bring up the Evil Twins challenge. Wherein queens were asked to belittle themselves and make mentally demeaning comments about themselves as their ‘inner saboteurs’. Then the queens who didn’t feel comfortable saying terrible things about themselves ended up getting critiqued for not digging deep enough, not being mean enough, etc. Honestly I’m surprised that episode still gets aired. The complete disregard for the contestant’s mental health is astonishing.
the 13:44 😢😢 i 13:44 😢😢😂she just
agreed. that's my least favorite drag race challenge to date. completely awful.
I love the challenge they did on season 5, the one where they had to lipsync to moments on untucked. I don't know why I just found that one so entertaining lol and they've never done it again after that season
Agree! A great challenge, much better then the recent challenges
yes!!!!! loved this so so much i wish they’d bring it back
THE HOTELS??? I never understood that, especially the weird AS5 judging of like you have my fav room but someone else wins??
Everytime there's something really weird on DragRace, I always assume that it's an American thing I just don't get.
Lmaoooo
Hahaha thats a valid assumption but often no it's just as weird for them as it is for us 😂
The pop art ball seemed like something I’d love but the cans and Aja’s elimination made me so sad and kinda forgot about it.
This video reminded me of those suppressed unwanted memories of Aja’s elimination 😖
I like to ignore that ever happened. Aja was SLEPT on AS3. She got paid dust for her consistently great performances (except 1st ep) “Soup Can drag” was just… a choice.
Also if I remember correctly, Aja “allegedly” told Ru that she wasn’t into the challenge bc Andrew Warhol’s problematic stuff.
I think the wrestling challenge worked very well because, when you think about it, both drag and wrestling come down to play a character and being very over the top with their performings. I also really liked the guest judges of that week, Rick Fox and John Salley. They seemed to really enjoying themselves during the challenge and runway, which was nice because having two guest judges coming from the traditional straight spectrum (former basketball players) and yet having a blast on Drag Race, specially on such a early season, was a welcomed breaking the mold moment.
Totally agree. They were fun guest judges
my dad watches drag race with me and he ADORED that episode!
We can also add the evil twins challenge from season 10 to this list lol
Also the insanely stupid ‘gaff in’ challenge from as1, never fails to make me c r i n g e
I still get nightmares
@@buddyyyy that episode was rupauls inner saboteur lol
If that challenge never aired, we'd never have seen Aquaria's evil twin look and that would be a travesty
@@verushencoopoo that is very true, both of Asia’s and aquarias looks were perfect
@@bp2159 Right? Asia's presentation was amazing, especially when she popped the balloon in the evil look
Can you imagine AS3 queens lining up backstage in a can costume? That's so funny.
For me the least ridiculous challenge on Drag Race was "Cupcakke: The Rusical" on All Winners 2. It was very respectful and emotional. It was so great that it was the first Legacy top three with Bianca, Bebe, and Yuhua who lipsynced to How to a 😺breaker by Cupcakke ft. Marina
Did we watch the same show because I was SURE Jujubee won and when she lip-synced she had a 🐱 REVEAL and out-lipsynced all of the girls 🤭🤭
Oh, and the runway for this Rusical brought tears to my eyes. Bebe walked out looking so phenomenal in her "H2Hoe" inspired outfit was just pure artistry. I'm so rooting for Bebe this All Winners 2. 😍😍
I am so confused by this comment
@@nfr_norman Girl, Jujubee already got 7 wins on her winning season, stop saying she was robbed on All Winners 2, she still won 3 times and made the finale
Special guest judge: Serena Cha Cha is the lip sync assassin and sends home Manila but she had the GOLDEN chocolate bar with peanuts (which means she can send home any queen) and manila sends home Bianca ☹️
I think anytime the queens had to go out in public for whatever reason is wild. Like s3 at the thrift store, s5 tour bus, s4 dumpster diving etc lol
I completely agree with you on the Pink Table Talk. I personally felt a bit grossed out by the idea that you could get eliminated (or even just judged) for not opening up enough, something that has nothing to do with the art of drag, just makes questionable tv and is so intimate... Brrrr, it was so uncomfortable.
Same. The entirety of AS6 has this vibe to me, also with challenges like show up queen and Jan's story line where her not being "vulnerable enough" was made a big deal for several episodes.
In hindisght it really soured my liking for the season to a point where AS6 might be my second least favorite AS season (after AS1)
No one’s says you have to open up but they are looking for someone to show emotion. That it there brand. If Alaska didn’t throw her fit, she would of never won. Don’t act like the girls don’t know what they are signing up for. If you are not what they want then they will eliminate you. That the whole point of crowing. What you don’t understand is it is more than drag. It is a representation of there brand. I’m surprised so many people don’t know this.
@@kogascool i know that. But more often than not, the producers are more sneaky about milking the queens emotions, but in AS6 it was VERY obvious and heavy handed. It felt forced to a point of making the queens and quite frankly me as a viewer uncomfortable.
Since you brought up Alaska in AS2: she showed emotion because she was genuinely upset, not because it was the maxi challenge. In fact, there was not a single maxi challenge that told the queens to talk about their trauma.
The producers want you to show emotions in the werkroom and in the confessionals, to be able to present you as an interesting character. That has almost nothing to do with the challenges, as it shouldn't.
Another horrible example of the producers doing the most is the evil twins challenge in season 10. The two queens who have been vulnerable the entire season (!!!!), Cracker and Kameron, were made to feel so uncomfortable by having to spell out their insecurities on the main stage and where then put in the bottom because they felt insecure like what??? It was horrible emotional manipulation. Not fun to watch at all.
AS6 felt like this constantly.
@@davidmorris8319 what is the difference between a challenge and just open up in general other than the money and prize. In the grand scheme of thing they prob would of never won. Yes I agree it was heavy handed but they didn’t have to open up. They also could of just lied and no one would of know.
BUT is it not more entertaining and interesting if we get to know these queens more as actual people, hear their past and stories, etc. For example, I had no idea about Akeria's past and it made me respect her so much more for sharing that.
If the queens stay superficial/surface-level and never share anything personal, then at least they have to be funny or entertaining. Otherwise it's just dry. That was kinda my problem with the S14 drag con panel challenge…
I know that they're ridiculous, but the wrestling and the cheerleading challenges are some of the most iconic on the entire show, they remind me of America's next top model with the ☠️ bubble runway and the conveyor belt ☠️ Truly legendary moments of tv history
Well ANTM and RPDR do have a lot of parallels
@@theonlygosha they're basically the same show, and rupaul does go on like tyra banks sometimes (I don't wanna see any f*cking h&m)
Dragular just did a wrestling challenge for the titans.
Speaking of, having various booby trap runways like this would be so fun at some point. A ball where there are three different hazardous runways and the homemade look is safety gear
how are they iconic when they are based on injuries and humiliations...
The wrestling challenge: Madame LaQueer's injury was the example for why the should never do this challenge again... But Madame LaQueer's performance is exactly the reason why this challenge was so iconic 😅
Trixie and Ben talking about the soup challenge will always be one of my favourite things to ever come out of drag race 😂
That weird eating mini-challenge in season 2 was another funny/strange challenge.
Season 2s on the street challenge wasnt to sell tickets - it was to sell vouchers for slices of pie...which makes even less sense. I mean, yeah, the pun of pie = p*ssy and they were strippers....but still. Anyway, that episode is what sold me on the series back in 2010 and allowed me to feel more comfortable with my queer self, as odd as that seems. Watching other people allowing themselves to say "f*ck it" and do the challenge and be vulnerable can really be empowering.
I actually miss the Queens going onto the street in drag. S1 with the first mini challenge being a carwash, S2 the second episode. Then, the Zombie thing in S4 and the dumpster diving in S5. After that, you never saw the Queens go outside again
I didn’t enjoy watching some of them being clearly uncomfortable with being in the public in drag. It’s one thing when you’re putting yourself in a situation where you know the audience, the audience knows what they’re engaging in, and everyone’s aware of what to expect. It’s another to send them out to the public with people who didn’t consent to being approached with cameras and didn’t want to be involved. Also to have to queens be put in a situation where they’re vulnerable to bigots and criticism of who they are and what they’re doing as artists seems unfair.
@@josesena6416 You actually just reminded me of the S3 opener when they went to a thrift store to buy stuff to make Christmas themes outfits with. I miss that one, too! But yeah, for reasons the video already explained it probably will never happen again so we can only reminisce that it was a quirky reality TV show gimmick of its time.
I like how all episodes where Scarlet Envy was eliminated was included here. Truly a #robbed queen 😭
I prefer challenges that actually relate to drag. Like making wigs, decorating shoes, doing makeup, speaking onstage on front of drunk people, etc. But obviously THE BRAND isn't about actual drag. 🤷🏻♂️
Drag and wrestling mesh so well together. The character work, the performance, the costumes, makeup, working a gimmick and brand for your persona and the ability to work a crowd. Has a lot of bleed thru.
I personally love the wrestling challenge from S4. Having grown up on WWE, there are so many parallels between professional wrestling and drag race. The queens get to act a part (hero/face vs villain/heel), be over the top and hype a crowd. I still would like the show to do more in that same vein since I think it's a great challenge that uses many skills
Loved it, too. It was the 'live performace' challenge with a very physical bent to it
I still think the half guy, half girl dancing challenge on Season 7 was a little weird. I mean the effect was cool but it just felt really random and some of the dances like the country-robot just felt fixed to not be good at all cause it would be difficult to create and act out a character for that so it came down to the dancing and if you couldn’t dance well you were screwed which is what happened to Ginger and Trixie. Plus I felt that the judging was rigged to save Pearl
Everyone always forgets how unhinged Madame LaQueer was during the wrestling challenge, and then WON (shared with Chad Michaels). And I don't think anyone else could have equalled her, extra-ness in that. So there is that.
Also they were not tasked to do improv alongside the magic. They were expected to have stage patter, and while team Nina, Brooke and Shuga scripted it all out and rehearsed it, the other team made the absolutely indefensible decision to wing it. Honestly, still mad at the outcome of that episode (controversial opinion I know).
No, it's a pretty popular opinion. Shuga should've been safe that episode 💁🏽
@@aakash2868 I know that was sarcasm.
Hey Jack, just wanted to leave a little note.
Warhol is an icon yes, but some of the praise he gets is undeserved. A lot of it is about how he was almost the founder of mainstream pop art when his ideas weren't actually his. He pulled inspiration from the work of women in abstractionism and got more recognition for it because, well, he's a man.
If y'all have the time look up the work of Yayoi Kusama, she's still alive (as far as I know) and only recently got recognition for her life's work. She came to the US, made a name for herself, went back to Japan, started from scratch and made a name for herself, and regained notoriety in the US, she made it three different times, with schizophrenia. The woman and her art are amazing, very reminiscent of early Warhol.
In season they had the wrestling because of in the prior season, Mimi lifted India and Ru said, "Drag is not a contact sport."
The wrestling challenge was iconic and VERY drag
“Drag is not a contact sport” lmaooo but a season later we got wrestling 🤼♀️ lmaooo tbh as a ldn old WWE/TNA I was deffo hear for it though I dunno if you’ve watched GLOW on Netflix ? But the challenge reminded me of that.
Which makes sense as to why Dragula has done this theme twice
I always hated pranks and when I saw in the earlier seasons the Queens being tasked to "prank" strangers in the streets, maybe not prank, but you get me 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
Let’s go, silly challenges!
Can we get a video on silly mini challenges not really being a thing, at least in the US series? I loved watching Drag Race Philippines’ mini challenges.
Edit: wrestling is still VERY MUCH prevalent in the 2020’s. AEW is very diverse in terms of talent.
España is the QUEEN of ridiculous mini challenges, in S2 they had to do quick drag, a photoshoot and a SUMO TOURNAMENT all in one episode 🥴
I love AEW!! I feel like wrestling as a whole is becoming so much more inclusive of women and queer people and it is so lovely to see.
I wanna see a challenge that is inspired by come dine with me. Have the queens cook for each other and make it improv.
I watch wrestling really often, and it was actually the Season 4 wrestling challenge that got me into drag race via a recommendation! I saw this post that said that Drag and Pro Wrestling were almost like siblings in the way of characterization and physicality, and I think I agree! Great video btw. Loved it as always!
I’m watching Drag Race Italia S2 and for me one of the worst Maxi challenges was this tarot/psychic reading/acting/improv challenge on EP 4 🤧 it was a mess
Having said that the franchise has some great mini challenges that I think US, Canada & UK franchises could learn from.
That one was rough, I thought it was a mini challenge until I noticed it took half of the episode. 💀
Where can i watch drag race italia?
Dragula just did a wrestling challenge on Titans and it was so much fun! I think that if Drag Race give a little more time to the queens to prepare themselves for the challenge and of course, have instructors walking them through everything, they could another one without major problems
to be fair, i think that all challenges require you to have some advantages over the other queens. i mean we mostly see the best singer / the best gymnast / the best actor winning the acting / singing (rusical) or gymnasic challenges. and singing to me is the most unfair one to judge because there is little influence on improving your singing. of course there is singing lessons and vocal training but you have to have a singing voice to begin with or else youre fucked. moves such as dips, splits etc can at least be equired or learned with some proper training.
i actually agree a lot with this take
I think a lot of the time the singing ones, the production mix helps a lot. And to be fair it's usually judged as a performance rather than a singing contest. Like the best singer usually wins, but a good performance can save a bad vocal (I'm thinking Jaida in the Madonna challenge off the top of my head)
The wrestling challenge was definitely top 5 for me as far as me being thoroughly entertained. But I remember being like "uhhhh wait" throughout. Like those wrestlers definitely train for years
The can do public stuff just in closed lots like all stars 5, plus I will never forget those cherry pie gift certificates
Surprised not to see the Glamazonian Airways challenge on here. Fun, but to this day still struggling to understand its purpose.
I'm remembering season 2 doing making a biography book cover as a challenge and I kind of want to see them do that again if there's a lot of different props/control over the graphic design, but with assistance for people with no/limited experience with photoshop. I dunno why, it's maybe because I'm a bit of a bookworm haha
Fun info about Queens Behaving Badly from AS1: Despite Manilla and Latrice having the second highest point total, they were put in the bottom that week
I hate the street challenge in AS1 with every inch of my body. It made me so pissed that Manila and Latrice were sent home for losing a challenge with absolutely no meaning (at least they acknowledged that and brought them back later). For me this episode was the pinnacle of the disaster that was AS1.
I found it painful to watch it was so cringe
@@kathleech8044 yeah also being drag character with people in audience is different than annyoing randoms on streets, a lot of people have anxiety to do such things and it isnt really shameful or weird, these are people that havent sign up to show, not like those from audience
The challenge was supposed to be pranks, but then they just had the queens trying to convince people to do stupid things which makes no sense.
not to be a kylie stan on main but she fucking kills everything she does, from season 2 (that performance challenge 😳) to all stars 6, her both giving great advice in pink table talk and trying her best to make sure no one’s boundaries were being crossed too much
i’ve had a number of different issues throughout my childhood and her advice of “don’t let that hurt child make your grown up decisions” was something i REALLY needed to hear, and while i didn’t really like the pink table talk challenge i must appreciate the wisdom kylie shared
I think of these my favorites were the magic show (judging aside, but I do feel like Shuga's time was up even if she didn't deserve to be in the bottom this particular week), the street challenge from season 2, and the pink table talk. I think these are all solid ideas that just need some minor tweaks to be really iconic or fun while still being respectful to the queens.
While it's not quite the same I do wanna mention I really enjoyed Canada 3's branding challenge. I'm glad that it did test the queens on their branding skills and wasn't entirely down to being who tried hardest to being funny. Fierce showed you could make an entertaining commercial without having to play it entirely for laughs and I feel proper branding skills are something the queens should be tested more on. I feel like the closest we've gotten to it on the US seasons was the book challenge on season 2.
5:29 I never new this challenge existed (I don’t have a streaming platform where I can watch drag race) and it gave me an idea. I really want them to bring a quick change artist on. “Ruveals” are already a big thing that they’ve done specific runways for, imagine a quick change challenge
What about season 10 that one where it was also drag con table y’all I think it was the one where eureka Asia and kameron made up the word porportionizing
The Untucked Lipsync challenge on season 5 was amazing and tbh I wish they'd do it again!!! There's a whole new crop of moments to choose from (some even from season 5) and it's a good acting/improv challenge that also utilizes one of the main skills for the show: lip sync!
Thanks for this video. Those ridiculouse challenges are fun, especially to break repetitiveness. I was so happy seeing Pink table talk challenge as a change and UK3 had The Miss Fugly Beauty Pageant which was soooooooooooooooooo much fun to watch. I really wish we get some of those challenges from time to time.
Honestly I think some of those sporty challenges would be fun to see again if they made them safer and maybe a bit more campy as opposed to serious.
As a wrestling fan, WTF was amazing and I love them playing characters and it was amazing. Everyone djd great and it made it so fun.
I wish something like this could be done safety again. Everything in front of the audience, the playful acting and banter, allowing people to be villains/heroes and the audience getting into it gave me so much life.
I love it so much!
I’ve been waiting for the cheerleading challenge.
All the physical based challenges are disasters WAITING to happen. Have they not realised that if I was on a season and I fell and broke my leg I would file an attempted murder claim??
Its so crazy they brought back the soup can challenge for canada vs the world.... i mean victoria's hoKNEE soup and vanity's assassin soup ft. alisha dixon was so good!
Wait what
I just love your content. Sometimes it can be hard with drag race not to become repetitive but you always manage to come up with something a fun and interesting. Very much appreciated.
Drag and wrestling goes really well together -
both are mega performative and camp
I’m a huge wrestling fan. And I can say drag and wrestling are VERY similar. That challenge on s4 was iconic and lowkey, I wish they would do it again. Probably a little too physical, but it was so enjoyable. And as a fan of both drag and wrestling; it was amazing seeing those two loves come together.
The cheerleading, wrestling and outdoor challenges were all so iconic though! I understand why we can’t have them again, but it’s so sad that the type of challenges are so limited in newer seasons!
Also, I actually preferred the Pink Table Talk to the Drag Con panels and thought it was more entertaining and had funnier content. I think I might have just vibed with the AS6 cast more though, tbh.
The AS1 challenge on the street was one of my favorite challenges of all time, it was so entertaining and funny
We've had multiple wrestling themed challenges on Dragula, where it feels like a really good fit since the show itself is more intense/high risk. It honestly just shows it's all about the context these are done in & how they're treated
The wrestling & cheerleading challenge is iconic!
I loved the drag-lympics challenge, the remixes were amazing and an adventure through Drag Race history
I love the cherry pie challenge!!!!! Season 2 is my favorite for that episode alone.🤣
The wrestling challenge was so much fun to watch😂
I really loved the wrestling challenge too. That season had a lot of over-the-top, feisty queens who were perfect for it.
And oh my god, the street challenge made me laugh so hard.
I loved the wrestling challenge because wrestling IS drag. I would love for them to revisit that in a newer season, and maybe get queer professional wrestlers like Sonny Kiss to come in and teach the queens, or even judge!
Another thing that Drag Race should look at for new main challenge ideas is combining drag with traditional art forms, like ballet, or symphony orchestra, or ballroom dancing. They can even have Brooklyn, Thorgy, and Shangela to guest judge on those episodes!
the on the street challenge in as1 was top tier i love it so much and while i understand why they won't, it sucks we probably won't see it again
The stripper challenge on season 2 is soooo iconic
I honestly love the wrestling challenge so much. Pro wrestling is literally just a soap opera... the performers are amazing athletes, and it does take a ridiculous toll on the body, but at the end of the day, pro wrestlers are dramatic actors above everything. The best wrestlers are the ones who can keep the crowd engaged and excited, whether they're a hero or a heel. I would love to see something like this challenge done again, obviously in a way that would keep the queens safe.
the wrestling challenge absolutely Not It on drag race but was absolutely The Moment in this recent season of dragula. it makes much more sense for it to be a challenge on dragula than drag race.
the wrestling episode on s4 is still one of my faves and made me realize that i wanna see a whole show centered around drag queens wrestling
Proposal: Makeover challenge where queens make over actual professional wrestlers. The queens perform the behind-the-scenes stuff as in season four, and then their makeover partners perform the actual in-ring stuff. Maybe they coordinate the performance together so it actually matters, unlike the little dance routines.
I think about "hey mister! you wanna arm wrestle?... I've got some grapes!" at least once a week
the point about keeping the queens safe is sad, yes, but so important to bring up! it's absolutely tragic that we seem to be moving backwards rather than making progress in acceptance and open mindedness:///
Well drag queens ARE always on the streets and selling their tickets outside of their gigs, so that wouldn't be a problem. The real problem would be people knowing they're from rpdg and using that as a gateway to release spoilers. But I would be happy to see them doing something outside maybe in the premiere episode.
I completely forgot about the wrestling challenge omg 😂 so good
I really enjoyed the on the street challenges too, I’d love to see more of them. The only way I can think of it being done is the very first week so nobody is eliminated before it’s filmed. Cast gets spoiled regardless, I think to the general public and us not browsing Reddit we will still be surprised when it airs.
Omg I don’t even remember the wrestling challenge 🤣 I’ve just removed it from memory
Besides the season 11 challenges I love the rest of these challenges. Season 2 was probably my favorite out of this list
I’d love a video on one-off challenges that need to return!
The season 4 wrestling challenge is one of the most entertaining in the whole franchise
I also loved the wrestling challenge! But it was risky.
Loved the wrestling challenge! Dragula did it pretty well in this current season, but not as much fun without the big choreographed moves! And good point about the magic challenge. It would be remembered as a classic favorite episode if they hadn't assassinated Shuga Cain.
i want them to do something with rollerskates so bad
I REALLY loved WTF in season 4 because I'm a pro wrestling fan. It was cool to see my two fave things meet!
Honestly, on paper, I could see why the wrestling challenge seemed like a good idea at the time....the show-biz aspect of pro-wrestling has something in common with RPDR: over the top characters, story lines, and feuds (with more than a little producer meddling lol). But yeah, the actual physical demand aspect of wrestling was NOT well thought out at all. Nobody should be asked to attempt stunts that pros spend months & years learning, themselves.
Dragula Titans just did a wrestling challenge too
The challenge that confuses me the most is the Glamazon/CD Commercials from season 4 episode 3. At least we got the Dida/Princess lip sync, those commercials were crazy
Omg seeing the queens do semi easy stunts like bust through fake tables and walls would be so funny
I think the cheerleading challenge as well was maybe a producer thinking they could do something similar to the bitch perfect challenge from season 8 - which imo was an amazing challenge - and make it bigger? The sort of rivalry campiness of both the set ups, all that stuff. But obvs cheerleading is much harder than lip synching hahaha
For me the most ridiculous was season 10 pancakes mini challenge. That was WILD.
"Back in 2011-2012 I think wresting was pretty big" girl where lol
I absolutely LOVE magic show challenge from Season 11. Yes, the second magic show was a cringe-fest but the first one was so hilarious. I agree the judging was unfair but then we got to witness one of the very best lip-syncs from drag race, Vanjie to MJB's "No More Drama". Its the episode I probably rewatch the most. I just wanted to state my opinion. I love your videos. Thank you for all that you do.
This lip synch is criminally underrated- one of my all time faves, Vanjie was everything
3:30: I think they did this because of Mimi Imfurt and her from the previous season and saying "Drag is not a contact sport" and then the whole drag aspect of wrestling.
"drag is not a contact sport"
does a wrestling challenge the very next season
The Baseball Dunk Tank episode was weirdest.
Ru to M*mi Imf*rst in season 3 : Drag is not a contact sport
Also Ru in season 4 : wrestling challenge 😍
They need to throw both the makeover and choreo challenges away.
I actually really love the cheerleading challenge it was entertaining to me!
I'm so glad you talked about the wrestling challenge, I loved it at first watch, it is still one of my favorites.
Ridiculous challenges that involve selling their own product are my favourite.. (Second only to runway) they don't require sewing skills or stupid athletic bullshit and feel like a truly even playing field, directly related to drag
As someone who used to love wrestling and loves drag I loved the wrestling challenge. There's a lot of weird similarities to both that no one wants to acknowledge. And honestly I could see Latrice and Kenya being an actual tag team in wrestling, pro-wrestling loves the little guy teams up with big guy storyline.
pink table talk was just a way to give ginger minj a win even tho
she wasnt even in like top 5 best of the challenge
I feel like a loner in saying the soup can challenge wasn’t that bizarre to me. It’s a basic version of a branding challenge + graphic design challenge. And the queens weren’t heavily critiqued on the styling or how they looked in the costumes, which is what I feel people immediately think of.
Still, would have made a funnier mini challenge.
