Usually they do the verses alphabetically or thats usually a base for the order. And S is pretty far back.
On as7 they did it in order of crowning but yes that also@@Danidonehoo
Usually in alphabetical order and on AS7 it was the order they were crowned (which I didn’t notice until like, my 3rd watch. Super cool detail)

"Can I Get an Amen" has a special place in my heart, I played it NONSTOP years ago when I was going through a really dark time and it made me feel better. I think it was due to the song's humor, irony, but also its message in some weird way. I respect putting it at #53 though, I acknowledge that my love for it is biased through personal experience 😆
If it helps, it's definitely higher on my list too 😊 I wouldn't play it randomly with friends, but it's always in my list when listening to cast songs ❤️

Thank you for recognise Hey Sis It's Christmas! Each verse is incredible. Maybe Ella have the best lyrics in the entire show ever not mentionning any kind of "winning" word, and has a christmas reference in every line. Pure talent.
Ella honestly gets slept on SO MUCH and deserves a lot more praise for how talented she is. People bash her so much just for a few odd styling choices- and forget the brilliance she brought.

What I loved most about the pop off ate challenge was the fact that at the end it had both groups duke it out in a climactic end where it was just a fun time for everyone involved and is definitely the most iconic moments of any drag race song in the franchise

llévame al cielo has to be the most underrated drag race song ever. everything in that song is so well done, the verses are amazing (sharonne's verse might technically be the best verse in drag race herstory imo) and you can tell there's a good production behind it. drag race españa never fails to devour

I love Show Up Queen, even Jan’s verse. Jan’s, despite not really being on theme, is very Jan and you could tell she was really enjoying herself and was trying her best (to be fair, the judges had been giving her a lot of mixed critiques to kinda fuck with her). Also, her starting the song off with the “SILENCE! Now listen. Jan’s got something to say.” ICONIC.
As for Pandora’s verse… yeah it’s pretty rough. But when you look at the song as a whole, it’s pretty easy to overlook Pandora’s verse and just kinda tune it out.

Bosom Buddies is one of my favorite non-Rupaul group songs! So catchy, and whoever they got to sing the chorus really did great!
Love your videos and if you do want to do a verse ranking, I'd say pick like your top 25 (or 50 or more if you feel masochistic) and rank them and show their corresponding song ranking from this so you can see if they were a stand out or just part of a solid bop

I still can't believe Drag Detective said U Wear It Well is forgettable! It absolutely deserves to be included among the best. It is to date the only cast song I will never skip.

Our number 1’s is the SAME! It was a full on SHOW! The verses, the vocals, the choreography, the fact that they all sounded different but blended so well with the song, the unison, the synchronization of the performance lewk…. Need I say MORE?! Cause I could.
I agree on almost everything - the only thing that threw off the performance was that it seemed like they weren't given any direction regarding lip syncing, it was so distracting that sometimes some of them were and some weren't 😩 Still one of my absolute faves, though I'm Canadian, so I might be biased 😅
I KNOW you didn’t just rank You Don’t Know Me that low. It was perfect. It was different, well produced and each queen showcased themselves pretty authentically. I thought it was extremely smooth and polished

“First an *OLD* friend” makes me laugh every time
when I was in 8th grade, my class went on a service trip and stayed in a shack in the woods with no door in 100 degree weather for 3 days. ALL of the girls were somehow on our periods. when we finally left we were all just so thwacked out and in this state of disbelief sitting on a bus. about a month prior, a girl in the class had shown us drag race season 5 at her birthday party. I don't know who started it, but someone piped up, "I lost all hope today..." and one by one we all started singing the whole song together. the boys and the teachers were so confused and kept telling us to stop, but we persisted, in some kind of miserable teenage girl solidarity. it was beautiful.
I, on the other hand, did not get tired of the fact that it's a 30+ min. video, damn, it flew by! Love your content 💞
P.S. I am so glad to finally have found someone who vibes with Living My Life In London as much as I do, lmao (and despises Clap Back as much as I do in a similar vein 💀) And yesss, preach, we do need more rock-adjacent songs on Drag Race!

i did not realize how much of phenomenon I knew until you said “name a line from every queen’s verse” and i was able to say at least 2 from each one
if i were to do my ranking (which i won't cause that's so much work, props to you) i wouldn't put catwalk that high, i love catwalk by rupaul but i think it had a difficult beat for the queens to follow and some verses fall behind or get messy in that sense

mr jackfed i’ve agree’d with you so many times on this show and i’ve never agreed with you so hard as i do with U Wear It Well. it’s fucking fantastic and flows amazingly, gives each gal a chance to let their strengths shine, and play off of each other in a way that truly makes them feel like a true group performing with one another but still putting themselves/their vibes into it. it’s my favorite cast song and it’s so damn good, i can’t help but jam out to it any time i hear it
