Can an on the car valve spring compressor, like for a OHV Ford or Chevrolet, be used to compress the HPFP spring?

It is a similar mechanism to valve springs.

If i add a hpfp to my mk7r ie stage 2 98ron high torque map will it gain any power or torque without changing the tune?

Generally no. If the tune was built with the OEM HPFP in mind you need the tune to be adjusted to take advantage of the HPFP. Let me know if we can help you with tuning the car.

Make sure you are tuned for corn to reap the benefits.

Looks like the Max st1 made slightly more power and spooled earlier on 93.
