Definitely had this and now I’m finally getting over it. 3 years of this world-wide insanity, I started drinking heavily to cope with the stress of society’s toxicity. 2 weeks ago I woke up after a drunken 3 hour nap and realized that I was poisoning myself just as much and quit drinking. After about a week I finally started to sleep again without drinking. Now I’m sleeping normal again, my appetite is back and my blood pressure is dropping. Monday I’ll start working out again.😁
@@Candlewick14 yeah but you will be amazed how u can live without it. I still get the urge due to having a lot of emotional trauma but it's been a couple of months now and it really helps to not drink. You will be ready to quit when Ur ready. When u do it will be great
I have pretty much all these symptoms! Especially recovery after exercising. I love to CrossFit and Oly lift and I’ve literally stopped going to the gym because it takes me dayssss to recovered after a moderate workout. Folks would think I was crazy when I said I just don’t feel right. What’s even crazier is I now am an assistant coach for HS basketball and one day I was walking passed the health room when I seen some posters on the wall about the causes of BP which I suffer from as well as low Vit D! I noticed the adrenal glands on the kidneys and was intrigued. I was reminded that the adrenals control/regulate the kidneys and thought to myself why haven’t this been looked at as the possible cause of hypertension I’m suffering from. High BP is a symptom not a cause. Then I stumbled onto your page!!! Thank you so much for this knowledge. You really are a Gem Doc!
I have every one of these symptoms. And have been dealing with it and having it worse and worse for years. Stairs are brutal for me now. I get dizzy enough to faint when standing up. I have severe insomnia. All of it. I need to now treat it…
I have a large mass on my right adenoid. Doc said it was nothing. That I am fine. I’ve complained about severe fatigue, about not being able to sleep through the night, dizzy when I get up and even dizzy throughout the day. Everything you described is exactly what I am going thru. I’m going to start looking for another doc.
The only symptoms I had was low libido, fatigue, and lack of ambition to do anything. I would fall asleep while doing a project. My doctor hormone doctor said my hormone levels were normal. So I ordered a saliva test from Life Extension ($150). Something was wrong and I knew it. The results: morning, afternoon, and evening adrenal function was at the bottom of the chart. My night level was in The normal range which is why my sleep was unaffected. After taking the adrenal supplement my doctor suggested my libido came back with a vengeance as well as my ambition. It’s been about 3 years and everything is going great,
I have it bad.. years of smoking damage kidney and havent slept properly in years, i have messed up hormones 24/7, i wrecked my body from stress, mental issues, smoking, no sleep. I need help. These doctors are so bad i told him my body isnt even functioning in any way and they tell me is in my head, they dont even try
@@Handlethisss guess we arent alone man you are gonna recover, best i felt was when i went on a 3 week trip into the woods in a tent getting away from everything i felt normal for a few weeks after that try to get into nature and detox if you can
1. Need equipment, I don't have it. 2. Tried it! My pupil was contracting and expanding like crazy. 3. I use to hold my breath for 3 min.. Now sometimes 10 seconds is hard. 4. Will test my pulse rate (using an app, it seems to work) 5. Can't tolerate much stress. 6. Dizzy when stand up, it happens a lot. 7. I can sleep for 10h no problem, but don't wake up much refreshed.
Brilliant, this doctor is one of the best to inform us how to take care of ourselves, and dangers to our bodys warning signs...just like our cars warning lights.!
interesting. I have all of these symptoms as well as hypothyroid which is definitely connected with struggling adrenals. I also deal with migraines and a bit of eczema.

Wow, this is so interesting because an electrophysiologist diagnosed me with POTS a few years back and just gave me Pharmaceuticals to lower my HR that then caused other issues. Then I found a natural doctor who does MRT and he saw that my adrenals were functioning very poorly and gave me natural things to heal my adrenals and I no longer suffer from the POTS symptoms I had for several years. Prior to going the natural route my POTS got so severe I was wheelchair bound.
Get into a daily routine of meditation to relieve your body of chronic stress. My life is totally stress free. Nothing really stresses me out anymore since I started meditating everyday
Dr. Berg’s work helped me finished a 7 days fast, the first time ever with joy and easy peasy. I lost 20KG since I started his program from 3 to 2 meals, to OMAD and a prolonged fast. (In 3 Months, and a week)About to have a bone broth to break the fast feeling blessed, still not hungry and can go more for days. No doctor visit, just check out his vast library and live longer. I appreciate you Dr. Berg. Respect.🙏❤️👍
I have suffered from Hashimoto's hypothyroidism, for 27 years. So I KNOW my body and I KNOW when my thyroid is off. But this last year, I have gone to my doctor, several times, demanding more blood work. Every time, it's spot on. Hmmm.... Well, after watching this video, Dr, I now KNOW that I'm suffering from adrenal fatigue. So... Onto the next! Thank you 💝
7:34 THIS.... Doctor, this video was just very informative and all of the symptoms you talked about like being in fight or flight mode 24/7, not focusing at all, dizziness, and pretty much the rest of the symptoms are found in me so thank you very much for this video. Could you talk about depression and how adrenal fatigue shows itself in depressed people? Also how depression is a loop that needs to be broken otherwise it gets worse and worse? Cuz the signs of depression AND adrenal fatigue (which I have) make the person not functioning both mentally and physically which makes them deeper into the depressive void.
Thanksfully, I watch this channel, my pcp thinks it is nothing, she failed so much, and refuse to give me any treatment advice. but my another doctor who is a functional medicine doctor he said I my problem is adrenal problem. Exactly same like you said. Your explanation is so good.
My cortisol level was critical and also my serotonin was critically low. I was given steroids without a taper during covid and haven't fully recovered. Three years later, I'm getting the same symptoms again.
I have been experiencing all the symptoms. I kept on going back to my doctor for checkups. All my test are normal except my cholesterol which is a bit high. On my dizziness I felt, she kept on saying it’s vertigo. Thank you that I still follow dr. berg and watch about this
This is a very helpful video. Thank you. It explains that I have multiple signs of adrenal fatigue but since I am poor and don't have health insurance (for anything other than partial hospitalization), and I have not been able to go to a doctor in over 15 years, it has been undiagnosed these past few years. I'll watch the follow up video on what to eat.
- I sleep 7-8 hours every day. I take power naps too. - I do meditation. - I eat healthy foods. - I love to work out/ exercise in the morning before going to work. I work out 4-5 days (brisk walk, yoga, kickboxing, and dancing). - I love to be organize. - I love to be productive. - I love to be active. - Good lifestyle. - Always be positive no matter what. We all know life is hard. To have a positive attitude is important too. - Respect others with kindness. We're all not perfect. - I avoid stress because I hate stress because it's not healthy. Learn to control the stress. - I don't worry. Why worry?.There are solutions to every problems. I love myself because I want to be healthy and to live longer.
I have been diagnosed with adrenal fatigue doing a saliva test through the day. I definitely have all the symptoms you mentioned. Thank you so much. Next time I will just do those.
I'm just 21 and have been hit with pretty bad fatigue and brain fog for the last few years, finding whats wrong with you is most of the struggle. It hurts lol, i have my whole life ahead of me and i'm barely functioning.
Same and I'm only 17.... Have been depressed for 10 years so what's funny is that due to having adrenal fatigue (haven't taken tests yet but have all the symptoms of this video) and depression (I'm sure one of them caused the other) for so long, I never was able to function normally....
Hi doctors, I recently suffered Adrenal gland haemorrhage caused by a blood clot. I can tell you, your analysis is spot on… would be great to hear more from you….. root cause analysis is still ongoing in my case so let’s see if endo team can figure out why it happened
@@Drberg Thank you Dr Berg and team. I don't suffer from all the symptoms, yet I suffered from some of them in the past. I found using B1 vitamin regularly has helped organise my sleep as well.

God bless you in Jesus name. You have helped me so much over the years and are one of my favorite doctors. I just did the iris test right now just like I did years ago in your other video and sure enough my adrenals are shot. Taking adrenal cortex by seeking health. Just started my tablet this morning with Food. Waiting tomorrow for the next tablet I hope to be so much better after fighting SIBO and Citrobacter and salmonella and years of stress
I'm not sure if you've done a video on this, but a good topic would be prenatal factors and birthing procedures. eg the practice of interrupting placental transfusion by clamping off the umbilical cord immediately after delivery (something we know from MRI brain myelination studies causes developmental stunting which may introduce permanent deficits), induction via pitocin, vitamin K, scrubbing off the vernix, erithromycin/silver nitrate dripped in the eyes, and the list goes on.
My doctor ran that Raglans test on me. My standing # was a lot higher. This was prior to my diet. I can hold my breath over 30 seconds. Prior to the diet max was 20 seconds. My stair climbing is great. I have 7 4 week old puppies. A full 8 hours is rare.
@bina nocht to take that iron test go to a Hematologist doctor. I get iron infusion for 5weeks. After my third iron infusion I got my teenager stamina back at the age of 48. My family doctor wanted me to get a pint of blood. I was like hell no I'm not injecting anybody blood in me. My doctor diagnosed me with severe anemia. I was in gym class not running out of gas after my 3rd iron infusion. Plus I am on keto diet.
Dr Berg, if you have Adrenal Insufficiency, as you know it's a whole different ballgame. I have Secondary Addison's Disease. And it is Rough! People do not understand what we go through. I implore you to look into the research linking CFS / Adrenal Fatigue with patients that had Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (Rickettsiosis). We have a tremendous incidence of RMSF and co-infections here in a Oklahoma. But now 3 years later, I’m in a severe adrenal crash. Started about 7-8 months ago, out of nowhere! I’m a now homebound and largely bed bound. Even dressing and combing my hair to go to the grocery, is too much. When I do, out of necessity, I crash for at least a day. In bed. Anyway, there’s legit research connecting Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (Rickettsiosis) and ME/CSF…
Hey Doc....I seen this topic and thought I'd share my adrenal problem. I have a condition to where my adrenal glands are pumping way too much adrenaline. This makes my body release too much potassium, more than it should. I've fought this for years taking potassium supplements and crashing a couple of times. Once my potassium got down to 1.3! Lost felling in my legs and arms. Try waking up in the morning and you can't walk.. lol! Im scheduled to get a vein biopsy and possibly taking one out to fix the problem. By the way, t love the channel! 😁
I am really sure that long covid is the extreme version of adrenal fatigue. I have all the symptoms, and in a grave way. Please do a video on long covid, dr. Berg!
@bina nocht Adrenals May take some time to regenerate, so the fatigue might stay with you. Work through it by getting lots of rest, drinking lots of herbal tea , minimizing stress as much as possible, vitamin D, and a VERY clean diet. It will pay off in the end.
No coffee at all? Is there a reason? I'm genuinely asking because I drink iced coffee all the time not ice coffee with sugar and cream just ice coffee with almond milk and Stevia I drink it every day is it bad? I'm trying to help myself I have a nodule on one of my adrenal glands I went to see an endocrinologist she says my body is producing too much cortisol anything I can learn will help me alot.
@@Priscilla8385. Remember caffeine is a stimulant and must be taken in moderation. Genetics and environment factor into this. The stress on the body that caffeine causes can interfere with cortisol. That interference can cause the adrenal glands to produce more cortisol, which results in the issue that is referred to as adrenal fatigue. You may want to consider getting off coffee and allowing your body to heal.
@bina nocht I appreciate you being candid about your personal struggle. Yes, please take things slowly, and go one step at a time. I like the idea of starting your day with juicing, preferably a nice soothing green juice. Get lots of fresh air, lots of sleep and stay away from the high impact exercise for now. Key Healthy life style changes will make a huge impact on your health. God bless
I'm 39, I have always been fit. When I was younger I was able to get my adrenaline pumping much easier doing extreme sports. Now I feel like my body almost refuses to do anything strenuous enough to get my adrenals pumping. I thought it was just age. But a big variable here was that I didn't start drinking coffee until I was older. I didn't realize too until recently coffee causes a slow drip of adrenaline release. Coffee gives me excellent concentration and focus but I worry it does negatively effect your adrenal system.
Yes, Coxsackie viruses and epstein barr! Then it was Addison disease, then lupus! Vasculitis! I am still fighting for my life. Gained 35 kg after weighing 50 kg for my 152 m body! Thank you for this information doctor! Yes, in south africa it is unfortunately a South African situation!

My acupuncturist diagnosed me with adrenal fatigue and recommended Holy Basil supplements, twice a day. They have helped me immensely. If I stop taking them for a week I feel very stressed and unsettled.
I take a pill that has zinc, copper, selilum, and magnese , a few hours after that I takes a b complex then eat a egg sandwich to try to kick start my heart . Plus I drink tea with many things like shelajit , potassium, magnesium, astragalus, ginseng and betane HCl , I've been in recovery from what I think is adrenal function fatigue and or nutrient deficiencies . One of my big issues has been drinking while eating , a big no no
Dr Berg is a proponent of keto and IT, not necessarily what you are mentioning. I did what you mentioned and it broke carb addiction and had spiritual benefits, but lost no weight.
Thanks Doc. Wish I had this information 3 years ago before adrenalectomy. Throughtout history, people have survived wars, famine, natural disasters, etc. Could there be a catalyst in the environment, food, water or lack of nutrients, etc. I've been following another dr recently in the news.. His information on over active cytokines could play a role. If you have made a video regarding cytokines..please link. Appreciate your work and study greatly. Knowledge is power
Glyphosate binds and prevents absorption of some minerals and hurts gut microbiome. One of these minerals is copper. Copper deficiency is one of causes of hypothyroid.
I’ve been diagnosed with hyperadrenergic POTs. There are many parallels between POTs and what you are calling adrenal fatigue. How would one differentiate one from the other? What do you suggest to help with these symptoms aside from diet, sleep, and reducing stress? I’ve been dealing with this for almost a decade. Your help could really help my quality of living!
Jake I’m in exact same boat at the moment but I’m on year 1 not 10 like you. My cardiologist said I’ve got a “severe case” to try and justify letting me leave hospital with BP still spiking even on meds. I was looking into this adrenal fatigue because I can relate to every symptom and pass every test too I don’t really know where to go with it. How high can your BP go? And is it high at rest ? I’ve seen mine at 188/115 at rest and if I get even slightly stressed I’m at 160/100+ I just can’t de with any emotion without getting flooded with chemicals
I also have Hyperadrenergic Pots, severely high blood pressure and heart rate. Found out last year I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Since getting treatment for that, my bp/hr have come down to almost normal, and I'm in remission from Addison's Disease. Off steroids after 12 years, but I'm very fatigued.

Right. Dr Berg made a few videos to help on each of these subjects. If you search his name and a symptom, you will find a videos to help with it.
Did u get dizzy all the time? 24/7?
Are they considering removing the mass?
It really is amazing how many of our “unexplained symptoms” are caused by our American lifestyles in general (chronic stress + poor diet).
It’s been about 3 years and everything is going great,
What supplements
@Kathy Schulteis what supplements?
Adren-all. I take 2 capsules in the morning

2. Tried it! My pupil was contracting and expanding like crazy.
3. I use to hold my breath for 3 min.. Now sometimes 10 seconds is hard.
4. Will test my pulse rate (using an app, it seems to work)
5. Can't tolerate much stress.
6. Dizzy when stand up, it happens a lot.
7. I can sleep for 10h no problem, but don't wake up much refreshed.

Glad to help!
Yes you are the best Dr ever I travel hous to Dr's That tell me it's in my had or don't help and you share all this for free you are an angel!!!!
Wow, so glad you found a solution!
How does one break the loop?
Thank you for the video suggestion. I will check with Dr. Berg about doing a video on this!

I have been asking my Regular MD doctor about this for last 3 months, also with Fibromyalgia it seems to go right along with this.
Your PCP will just prescribe an anti-depressant
Yes. His videos on fibromyalgia may help too.
I won't take chemicals that alter the mind

- I do meditation.
- I eat healthy foods.

Same and I'm only 17.... Have been depressed for 10 years so what's funny is that due to having adrenal fatigue (haven't taken tests yet but have all the symptoms of this video) and depression (I'm sure one of them caused the other) for so long, I never was able to function normally....

Ever since I got diagnosed with hypothyroidism 4 years ago, a lot of these symptoms appear everyday for me. It really sucks.
For me too. It's really all of this. I got diagnosed 5 years ago.

Started about 7-8 months ago, out of
nowhere!
Excellent video, as always! Hugs from Brazil
Thanks!
Please try seeking out Dr Brownstein's book on the adrenals.

If the adrenals are weak, then I highly recommend getting off coffee. Increase fasting time to 20 hrs a day.
@bina nocht
Adrenals May take some time to regenerate, so the fatigue might stay with you.
@bina nocht
I appreciate you being candid about your personal struggle. God bless
Love these tests to check on things ourselves! Thank you!!
You're welcome!
After 1´20´´ of holding my breath, I was grasping for air....!!!! Nice.
Hi Dr. Berg, grateful for all of your informative content. After using your adrenal formula, how long typically does it take to heal the adrenals ?
You forgot to mention Conn’s Syndrome- over-active adrenal glands. It would be great if you could do a video on that. Primary hyperaldosteronism .
I GOT IT! Lol! My doctor can't seem to find any reason I'm feeling fatigue and stressed. I feel the dizziness, low libido sometimes because of fatigue and all the rest of the symptoms on the list unfortunately
One of my big issues has been drinking while eating , a big no no
I haven't woken refreshed for years, I am in a constant stress for years. Not sure how much time is left before the collapse of mine :(

Thanks Doc. Wish I had this information 3 years ago before adrenalectomy. Throughtout history, people have survived wars, famine, natural disasters, etc. Could there be a catalyst in the environment, food, water or lack of nutrients, etc. I've been following another dr recently in the news..

I also have POTS and was honestly thinking the same thing. I do know several others in the community who do have both POTS and adrenal problems.
What is POT please. Trying to understand my wife's symptoms.

I thought i had pots too now im wondering if its this.
Thank you! I check off all points on adrenal fatigue. I will be going on the keto diet you suggest asap!
Dr Berg I have most of this symptoms besides I am losing weight and muscle very slowly but is there and I think a lot have to be the chronic stress, anxiety and insomnia is very difficult when your body doesn't respond not matter what you do and talking about holding my breath not to much I have a bad nasal congestion
All these symptoms are correlated with quitting smoking too. I went through all of this when I stopped smoking. Would be great to have D. Bergs input regarding this and what to do to ease up the process of quitting tobacco.
