I have only recently purchased this camera and I was struggling a bit with it (I was a Nikon user). These tutorials are first class and I can now enjoy my photography without puzzling over the controls. Thank you.
I’m picking up my Canon 6D mark ii tomorrow night and I’m using it on a Motorsport shoot for the next few days. I’m trying to learn everything about it as I won’t have a lot of time to learn how to use it before I’m shooting. I’m using my previous canon camera as a second shooter. Thanks heaps for this video, I’m going to watch the next few as well! Very excited to pick up my new camera.
Just wanted to say how much this series helped me. Felt like you made it just for me haha. I just bought the 6d Mark II, it being my first camera at all, and I was very overwhelmed. You helped me more than I could ever say, answering almost every question I had. Thank you so so much!
wow bro u are the best , this is my first camera in life , and I did know anything about it, I watched the entire 21 minutes now I know the buttons and dial , I am so much thanks full
This is a really amazing tutorial. I haven't taken photos for 10 years and I totally forgot all the functions and of course the cameras are much better now.. Thank you for this!!
I am so glad I watched your video before buying this. I am upgrading to this camera from a crop sensor 100D. So knowing I have to upgrade my lenses at the same time is great as I was just going to buy the body. Great video.
Hi, I am a food photographer and recently decided to use the " Lively Mode" and touch the screen where I want to focus more, but when I click on the button, my screen is black and does not show anything. Do you know how I can fix that?
Hi i just buy 6 D mark ii i have one question. Like when you put manual program you see all option like aperture and iso etc etc. In my camera its not show me like this. Why?

A month ago I bought 6D Mark II. It was either 5D Mark III or this thing. Due to the screen that can rotate I opted for 6D Mark II.
Hello, I hope this message finds you well. Firstly thanks for this video that you put here for us. Can you tell me what camera and lens did you used for this recording video ? Thanks in advance, Marius
Thanks so much! I read the user manual twice but I’m quite a visual person, so this was super helpful. I also loved the little jab remarks between you two ;) informative and funny!
The red dott is alignment dott for lens to body. The red dot is also on my crop sensor camera aswell as on my fullframe. And both the mic connection and the infra red are twisted. Very unhandy.
Hello, I watched your videos, thanks.... I changed my settings in accordance with your remarks, suggestions. I just realised my automatic focus is not working in B, M, Av, Tv, P. Could this be from something I have changed???? I have just purchased a Canon 6D Mark 11, lense is 24 - 105 mm image stabliser ultrasonic. Thanks Noel
Hi, I'm currently hesitating between the eos 80D and the eos 6D mark ii. I've been learning photography since I was 14 years old (so about 12 years ago !) and I did it all on my old EOS 350D (that I still use because I didn't have any money to change it). Right now I want to step up my photography game. All my lenses are either EF (canon) or DG (sigma) apart from the kit lens I got with my 350D and that I'm going to replace. I wanted to settle for the 80D because it's cheaper but I keep going back to the 6D because it's a full frame... I really don't know what to do, I could stretch my budget to buy the 6D mark ii and I don't know if it's worth it. What do you think ?
Hello! I hope you don't mind my question, but I received my new 6d mark ii last week. I upgraded from my 6d mark 1, as the shutter noise was slow after using continuous shooting mode. Even when I changed the settings it would do the same until I reset the camera. It was as if the shutter was sleepy. Anyway, this didn't happen until after 64k shutter actuations on my mark 1. My new 6d mark ii after a week of light use, suddenly did the same!!! Any ideas what this might be? I've sent it back and awaiting a replacement. Canon are no help, they said no problem has been reported. Great video by the way!!!
Diopter vs Mode Dial... I have been shooting Canon DSLR cameras for well over ten years and I have never ever accidentally moved my mode dial. However, my diopter dial gets moved quite easily and part of my pre-shooting checklist includes checking the diopter focus.. Yet the 6D2 has a lock on the mode dial and no way (that I know of) to lock the diopter dial once it is set at the place I desire. If there is a way to lock it in place please inform me...
I just received my new canon 6Dii. In the video you are showing that the focus point selection can be brought up on the touchscreen by pressing the auto focus point button on the top right of the camera. I cannot get my new 6Dii to bring that menu up on the touchscreen. This is shown in the video at the 10:57 time mark. Does anyone know why I am unable to do that?
Does anyone know how the hell to turn on in body image stabilization!? Or is it automatically turned on? I have all lenses without image stabilization and my photos are coming out blurry and out of focus
Thank you so much, this was really helpful. I've got my new toy and now I'm on my way to knowing how to use it. Will probably watch over again and again. Much better than reading the little instruction booklet that came with the camera. Cheers!
Absolutely the most informative video tutorial of not only the Canon 6D Mk II but of any camera. SUPERB!
Thanks

Best 6D ii tutorial on youtube.
How do you get your quick menu to display at all times
Thank you for reviewing every button on the camera. It was so much better than reading a ridiculously large manual!
Happy to help

Maybe a stupid question, but have you flicked AF on your lens?

Look at the original 6D but I would pick the 6D or 6D Mark II over the 80D all day long.

Check your focusing settings and make sure on M mode on dial.
Can you shoot with no lenses on?

BLAZE TV the same

The majority of the photos I take with the 6D MKII are fuzzy and grainy. My crop sensor T7I is a lot better.
The camera you are showing is not a 6d ii
Well that is the markings on the front of the body as shown in the vid and the same as mine so what is it if not a 6D Mk II?
That red DOT is not what you think it is dude!
Well tell us different then!
The lack of dual card slot is killing me....😵
And mic jack out
I know right
