maaaan I never thought I'd see the day when a studio actually tries to do a shot-for-shot, panel for panel live action One Piece and actually...do it pretty god damn well. What a time to be alive. R.I.P all the One Piece fans who never made it this far.
@@PerfectChaos115 not directly he just looked over the stuff he still had to draw the manga and look at other things like the new movies. he has no time to be that involved
Recreating this scene, Emily Radd especially earned the gold medal. If she delivered less than what the Anime conveyed, at the point where the original show went from "great" to "legendary," she'd become the post-girl for every criticism thrown at the show. Her performance met the bar. With the rest of the cast, the music, the tone and the build-up to it push it higher. With a limit set in the stratosphere, this scene peaked at halfway to the moon.
It's kind of poetic nami want to get ride of her problem quickly by leaving strawhats, but little did she knew, they are her solution and solve the problem in one day
For months I kept posting that this moment would either make or break the Live Action series. If this was even a millimetre under par, it would be the post for everyone blasting the series. Tellingly, nobody is throwing flames or dislikes at the Netflix series. None of that is aimed at this scene. The bar was set in the stratosphere, and the show made it halfway to the moon.
Whoever watched the anime first then the live action. They will say, that didnt happen in the anime and of course i will didnt happen either luffy said damn right! And if he wants to say of course I will, say it once not three times 😂 and nami didnt throw dirt to Luffy

Pouring one out to all the pirates who supported One Piece that got us to this day
In all fairness, it helped that Oda himself worked on this directly
It wasn’t 100% shot for shot but it was still good

This is one of those scenes where, it doesn’t matter where you first see it, you know these guys are about to give someone a SERIOUS ass-kicking
Right!
The emotional charge is unbelievable ! Reminds me that Luffy knows how to lead.
Seeing the East Blue arc in the Live Action honestly made me nostalgic for the early One Piece Anime days, lol
Well, East Blue, minus Loguetown
They did this scene justice
They truly recaptured the magic once again.
I couldn't believe the anime moments that made me emotional could be done so fucking well to make me emotional with real actors. My god, they did it.
I’m so glad they were able to pull this off. I was in total tears when I saw this good job cast and whoever worked on this

Okay, FINEEE I'll watch One Piece Live Action.... and rewatch the anime...
As a One Piece anime-only fan that’s only at Punk Hazard, I had a blast watching Live Action One Piece.
I’d watch the live action first might be a while if you’d fart with the anime
I am down for a rewatch, one day. One Pace version.

Wouldn't it be better if he shouted DAMN RIGHT I WILL!
messing with pirate's king navigator? get ready for some ass whipping
God DAMN that last bit was badass, you just KNOW Arlong and his crew are about to GET THEIR SHIT ROCKED. Nobody fucks with the strawhats!
Why i cried again 😢😢
This is better than any one could hope for But man i do wish this luffy had the same voice as anime luffy.
So well done. The walk to arlong park is a bit iffy tho
I will never forget Sanji puffing thay cigarette
I cried again🥲
I maybe nitpicky but rather than 'right' i feel like 'Roger' or 'aye' wouldve sound better.
best cast
Luffy is Epic❤
10/10
Luffy knows nothing about Nami’s backstory, all he knows/cares about is his navigator asked for help.
C'mon crew lets Oppress some Fishmen.......Zoro "It's about time" jk
