The whole point of a live action adaptation is to tell the story in its own way and not to make a carbon copy of the anime or the manga. The live action is not terrible. If you want the anime style of storytelling, you can skip it. But don’t shit on it just because you like the anime better.

For months I kept posting that this moment would either make or break the Live Action series. If this was even a millimetre under par, it would be the post for everyone blasting the series. Tellingly, nobody is throwing flames or dislikes at the Netflix series. None of that is aimed at this scene. The bar was set in the stratosphere, and the show made it halfway to the moon.

Do we have to have this conversation every time there’s a book/cartoon adaptation? Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, comic books, anime, video games, etc. We know that it will not have every detail, character, plot point in the adaptation. The only thing that matters is that it’s good on its own. And this show was great on its own. Can’t wait for season 2.

Whoever watched the anime first then the live action. They will say, that didnt happen in the anime and of course i will didnt happen either luffy said damn right! And if he wants to say of course I will, say it once not three times 😂 and nami didnt throw dirt to Luffy
