Well, it is anachronistic. The AIM-120 replaced the sparrow in the 90's as the principle BVR weapon, and the JHMCS wasn't around until the 2000's. Same goes for the LINK-16 you see him using. For a "ReAliStIC" cold war era mission, the pilot should just refrain from using these features, as they can't actually be outright disabled in the mission settings.
though, putting "realism" aside, AIM-7s should be a tiny bit more fun than AIM-120s, just for the fact that you have more stuff to do. ...unless you're engaging multiple bandits, that aint fun anymore.
Drewski, we've all seen how sneaky you can be with the Flanker in A2A, and how effective you can be in the F/A-18 in A2G, but how about some helo action? Would love to see you fly the Ka-50 or the Hind.

@@OperatorDrewski It's so very very good. I can't think of any singleplayer combat I'd recommend more. Plus the supercarrier is just... well, better for anything involving a carrier.

PB or Pre-briefed is mode that allows you to end the coordinate of the target, and then loft the HARM either with the aircraft or the missile, to get maximum range. Firing in HAS or SP give you around 30nm while the PB can give you almost 70nm
