this is a great video! like they say stay patient . trickiest part is reconnecting the digitizer cable, thought i had it first time, but got a white screen ! so i reset the device , came on but touch screen didnt work.. so powered down and reconnected it second time, but this time i used tweezers ( wrapped with plumbing tape on each prong as they where metal tweezers ) to control it better, and to squeeze the connection. he makes it look alot easier than it really is. really need plastic tweezers, i couldnt find any ..oh yeah i used a magnifying glass as well, very tiny parts and connections.... mine works perfect... if you get frustrated,, do what i did, save video put tools and parts in a safe place, and come back the next day.. hope this was helpful...

25:30 - as soon as i flip the screen in it´s original position, the screen goes "yellowish".. as long it´s up in the air, it works perfectly 😞

For the iPod touch 4gen i want to fix, there is a dent in on the top left corner of the iPod, how would I be able to fix it and get it back to its proper form? Would it be with the heat gun or something?

its aluminum heating would help so if you are very handy , you may be able to straighten but if its to bad , may just have to acquire a new one.. sure theres a video on that as well..

Repaired my ipod and it turned on when I first connected the digitizer and whatnot, After adhesive and screws and reconnecting again. Nothing. WHY???i
