I have a 2016 Chevy duramax, dealer checked it out told me EGR valve was bad needed replaced 1200 dollars, the truck has 18,000 miles on it, I had read on one duramax forum’s that Chevy duramax engines 2011 thru 2016 emissions warranty was extended to 10 years or 120,000 miles, only thing the dealer warranty was the sensor in the def tank. Guess I’m stuck with a bum emissions system on practically a new truck. Good luck GM in the future , I will buy another brand of diesel truck next time.

How’d you get the two nuts and one bolt off the bypass valve to down pipe?
